Christmas Countdown - 2010

Good evening all!


Today was the most lackluster 4th of July in a long time, we cleaned the house preparing for my sister's arrival, the parade is tomorrow, the fireworks were last Saturday. So we went out for ice cream. Watching a movie that takes place over the 4th of July, and happens to be my favorite movie of all-time "Jaws."
I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday, considering (IMHO) this is the last "major" holiday until Thanksgiving, we are getting closer to the greatest season of all!

I am winding down for the evening. Today was a regular workday for me, though only half day. I hope everyone enjoyed their Independence Day celebrations and are safe. Back to regular schedule tomorrow starting at 5:30 a.m. My vision is so much better now than it has been for a long time !! Did you all know trees are green ?? Well, with my left eye I could not longer tell that but now because of the miracle of medicine, I can.

It was Great!!!!!!!! cheesy I was so excitied that I hardly slept friday night. I will also admit that it brought a tear to my eye to see that car in victory lane knowing that Junior said it would be the last time he would ever run a car with the number 3 on it.

Whew! Christmasstar, I agree, it's nice to in your own bed with your own bathroom...kinda neat coming back and getting on the computer and seeing everyone as they come back. I like that, too!

I'm really starting to get excited as we get closer to August. That's when I start really getting after it. It's going to be so much fun this year.

Binger, be careful coming home.

Going to be another lazy day tomorrow. Get to hang out with the best wife in the world.

I had a great day. My sister called and wanted me and mom to come out at noon to help her get everything ready for dinner tonight. So we went out and helped get all the food ready and played with my nieces. They were both in a good mood today so that made it even better. We ended up having about 20 people come to the cookout and we had a ton of food. One thing our family can do well is cook for a crowd. We all sat around and chowed down while getting caught up with everyone. I got to meet my sisters neighbors that live behind her finally. They spend most of the year in Canada right across the Michigan border but they also bought the house behind my sister last year for when they come down to visit all of their kids who still live here. They are great people and we had a blast talking about her collection of Christmas dishes. Then we all went outside and put off some fireworks. My nieces were running around throwing snap pops at everyone while we put off a lot of fountains and some artillery shells. Then it was time for the church down the street to put off their fireworks. It was a good show but only lasted about 15 minutes. The town normally puts on a hour long show from the church's lot but decided this year that they couldn't afford it. The church members stepped in and raised $8000 dollars in the last two weeks so they could still put a short show on for everyone. There was still alot of people putting fireworks off in my sisters neighborhood so we stuck around for awhile to watch them all. Finally about 10:30 I decided it was about time to come home.


I hope everyone else enjoyed the holiday as much as I did!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone !!! I am taking my first break today and thought I would say hello. It is already very warm here in my state of Ohio, good thing the air is working !! I can't believe it !! Next weekend is the Hallmark Ornament premiere !!! My sister and I are planning on going. I am really excited. I can't wait to put up my tree this year more so than other years !!

I wish everyone a great Monday and just remember only 5 months til Santa comes !!!!

Good Morning MMC !

Going to be very hot here today, so instead of staying home where the airconditioner is, I am heading to downtown Hamilton!

Going to go up to 34c (94f) the rest of the week with a humidex of up to 40c (104f) ! May have a thunderstorm this afternoon which will either cool things down, or make it even more humid when it passes.

I still have most of the camping stuff to put away, but that will have to wait as everyone here is heading out the door for work in the next hour.

Good Morning everyone! Had a great time yesterday. This morning I am catching up on here and listening to My Merry Christmas Radio. Some really Christmas Music being played this morning.....

Well we leave Fridayfor our vacation. Once we get back I will be full planning mode for our son's b-day party and cook out next month, will start the back to school shopping (it's easier on the budget if I spread this out) and pick back up on my christmas shopping!

A mere 9 days. Wow!

Well, it keeps getting warmer but as promised, the humidity stayed relatively low for the 4th and it was very pleasant out at the State Fairgrounds to watch fireworks last night.
And I got home in time to watch the Boston Pops show, too!

It is already very warm here in my state of Ohio, good thing the air is working !!

It looks like it is going to be a warm week for almost all of us. It is already 85 here on its way to 94 this afternoon. I guess if I want cooler weather I will have to go visit my sister who lives north of seattle. They had to wear coats to the 4th of July parade yesterday because it was so chilly out.

Good morning everyone!!!!!!! It has been a pretty boring morning for me so far. I was supposed to have a conference call for work but my boss must have forgot. All of us sales reps were on the line but she never called in. Mom went back to work this morning so it is going to be a pretty quiet day around here. I might actually be able to clean the apartment and keep it clean now that she isn't going to be home all day long. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
