Another trip to K-mart today, a little more Christmas stuff out, Rite Aid is slowly bringing theirs out, I am really looking forward to more stores joining in with the decorations out. I hope everyone had a good Tuesday.

good morning everyone. early morning for me...lol...dunno why i got up so early...just didn t feel like sleeping
that post made me smile a bit.....the teething has something to do with it....but she is also startin to test her limits....Kandice was very good at it...lol....what do I say...she still IS very good at it.....throwin tantrums i mean
Dylan (who turned 1 in August) has a terrible temper..he has had it for months. Evan ( 3 1/2 year old) mouths back more then a teenage girl. I just try to laugh it off and change the subject...If I dont I would break down and cry! Teething is so bad..once that tooth breaks she should be a little better..I hope for you! Have a great time shopping that sounds like a lot of fun!
Happy Wednesday! Im glad to have the day off of work. We were going to go to a corn maze/pumpkin patch but it has been rainy and may rain today so we are going to go another day. I also need to take my oldest Son to the doctors. He has a bad cough. Not much going on here. Both Boys are still sleeping..feels good to have a few minutes to read through Christmas posts cheesy. My SUV wouldnt start yesterday when I left work but luckily it was only the battery! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good morning MMC !
I sit here typing with one hand because a 5 week old kitten is asleep in the other. She came to live with us yesterday. Owners said she was 7 weeks old, but vet says she is only 5 weeks. She is so tiny, only 12 inches from tip of nose to tip of tail. When she runs around her tail sticks up straight just like a mouse's, so she named her "Mouse"
This is my daughter with her new baby.
I sit here typing with one hand because a 5 week old kitten is asleep in the other. She came to live with us yesterday. Owners said she was 7 weeks old, but vet says she is only 5 weeks. She is so tiny, only 12 inches from tip of nose to tip of tail. When she runs around her tail sticks up straight just like a mouse's, so she named her "Mouse"
This is my daughter with her new baby.

Wednesday already!
I get to go and help host a BBQ at our local housing project. Our church has begun to reach out to these folks almost a year ago now. Once a month we do a coffee time (crafts, special speakers etc) and have done a lot of painting a repairs too. The common room is now a really nice comfortable place for them to use. It has been such a blessing to work with them.
So this month we are doing a thanksgiving BBQ. We provide the hamburgers and everyone brings a salad and dessert to share.
I just hope it does not rain, although we can move it indoors if we have to.

Good morning everyone! Kids are off to school and hubby is at work. I'm enjoying my morning right now by reading here and listening to some Christmas music and just enjoying the peace & quiet. I don't have anything going on today so i'll just be doing some housework/laundry as usual. Hope everyone has a good day!

Well, hey! It's the Peak-of-the-week again and time for yet another visit to the Shispering Pines.
Wow. These weeks are going so fast! Seems like just yesterday we were at the 'Pines enjoying fired twinkies, sweet southern iced tea and watching Bing make a spectacle of themselves drinking one of Carl's experimental fruit-blended coffees.
(Wait a sec. That latter event WAS yesterday.....and this morning too, for that matter!)
OK.
Count time. (And so close to the 90% Milestone!)
Days to the Season: 38
Days to Christmas Day: 80
Yes, you read right. TOMORROW, folks. That final auspicious Milestone that stands between us and Christmas Season 2010 will have fallen and it will be clear sailing to November 13!
Downright chilly here this morning where we stand at 49 degrees under calm, sunny skies. (Hmmm...... Is there really more than one sky?)
Anyway, as you ponder that deep question, have a Wonderful Wednesday.

The weather is still wonderful down here, 50° and clear this morning. I can't believe just a few weeks ago it was inthe 90's!
A couple weeks ago, I noticed on our credit card statement that someone has used my card to open a Dish Network account back in May. I'm ashamed to say that I dont' always read the statements. Since then, they charged over $600 on my card to pay for the Dish service. When I finally realized what was happening, I called Dish and the CC company to report the fraud, and the CC suggested that they take my card number out of service and send me a new one. I agreed, of course.
Fast forward to yesterday, Nancy was in a nearby town at Wal-Mart picking up some stuff. When she got to the counter, she realized she was out of checks, so she handed to clerk the card...DENIED. LOL! Ok, it's funny today, but she was HOT about it yesterday. She didn't have the other card with her, so they took the buggy from her and put the stuff back on the shelf. She was so embarrassed. I just got an email today saying the new card'll be here in a few days.
I tried to find out who had my card number, but neither Dish nor the CC company would tell me without a subpoena. I guess thieves have more rights than victims. Oh well.

She is so sweet and cute! Do you have to give her formula or did the vet say she is good on just eating regular food? Good morning everyone.... sun was actually peaking through the clouds this morning.... We just put up our corn stalks over the weekend and I will not be surprised if we have to replace them by the end of the month. The squirrels are just tearing at the corn on them. Same thing is happening to my neighbors too. The only other time I have seen them this bad was last fall. Before that they were not this bad. Wonder if they know something about the weather that we do not?

It sounds like they made a scene. When I run someones credit card at work and it's denied I try to keep a low profile to prevent embarrassment for the customer. Hopefully they didn't do that to her.
We actually had something similar with our debit card and it was weird. Someone bought some prescription glasses in Germany and paid a membership for an online game. We got it sorted out but was annoying that it happened.
I hope your situation gets sorted out for you.

Good morning everyone here...not having a good day.You know how it is when your kids(in this case my oldest son-16) say things to you that really hurt you?? Well that's what has happened to me this morning. Now, I'm a person that believes in tough love, but sometimes it hurts pretty bad. I don't want to continue to be a downer, so I will just leave it at that.
Sixteen year old boys are known to believe they know more than thier parents. I was pretty sure I knew much more than my parents at 16. Sorry you have to deal with that.
I've had some days like that with my 15yr. old son, but i just try to brush it off and tell myself he's a typical teen. It does still hurt though. I'm sorry he said something hurtful to you. Try not to let it ruin your whole day though... maybe put on some Christmas music and do something Christmassy to help get your mind off it. Hang in there!
