Good Morning to all my friends,

Well this is my first full day back on in a few days after recovering from a nasty cold. It just hit hard and fast but atlas its done and gone all in a few days. So I am happy to say that not only am i happy to be back with my Christmas family, but also to let you all know that today is me and the wife's 3 year wedding Anniversary. We got married Oct 6th 2007 and it was the hottest day in all of the world. It was so funny how everyone would come to talk to us before the ceremony and kept saying that we have to be the most relaxed people ever getting married. I kept telling people in response whats to really get stressed about, its a wedding its either going to be great or something could happen but at the end of the day were all still alive and together so what else matters.

i don´t know why, but i got up at 5:30am this morning....without having to do so.....and two days ago I was up at 6, when i coulda been sleeping till 7:30...anyhow...at least i got a long day like that

Christmas-a-Holic - we had an officer killed every year (or more) the past few years in Philadelphia.. heart-breaking. They used to show the service on TV but it got so frequent that they stopped.

Come to think of it they never air the funerals here. I guess it is too frequent. How sad.

Hi everyone! Have to catch up a bit - everyone in our house got a nasty cold (including my poor little newborn, Noel!) so we've been out of commission a bit. Everyone is almost back to normal today but I still think we are going to just stay at home for another day or two to be sure. Having a little tiny baby get a fever is scary!! Hope everyone is doing well. Jude and I (and Noel, but he'll be snoozing, lol!) are going to watch Deck the Halls again - love that movie!!

Evening all, Just got in from work and Im shattered! Hardly slept last night, my little girl was up half the night with her teeth cutting, poor little thing couldnt settle. Hoping for a better night tonight.

I hope she gets better and you all get some sleep.

Thanks! I think we've all officially kicked it now.. my husband and Noel got over it yesterday but I am still being cautious with taking Noel out. He's only 6 weeks so I'd rather be safe than sorry (then again, I'm a serious worrier about my kids getting sick!! lol!)

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

The weather is still wonderful down here, 50° and clear this morning. I can't believe just a few weeks ago it was inthe 90's!

A couple weeks ago, I noticed on our credit card statement that someone has used my card to open a Dish Network account back in May. I'm ashamed to say that I dont' always read the statements. Since then, they charged over $600 on my card to pay for the Dish service. When I finally realized what was happening, I called Dish and the CC company to report the fraud, and the CC suggested that they take my card number out of service and send me a new one. I agreed, of course.

Fast forward to yesterday, Nancy was in a nearby town at Wal-Mart picking up some stuff. When she got to the counter, she realized she was out of checks, so she handed to clerk the card...DENIED. LOL! Ok, it's funny today, but she was HOT about it yesterday. She didn't have the other card with her, so they took the buggy from her and put the stuff back on the shelf. She was so embarrassed. I just got an email today saying the new card'll be here in a few days.

I tried to find out who had my card number, but neither Dish nor the CC company would tell me without a subpoena. I guess thieves have more rights than victims. Oh well.

Great story, Brad. Glad to hear that it was sorted out. Hopefully they catch the culprit and they get what is coming to them! These laws are a sad work these days.

Good evening, everyone!

I did not get an opportunity to stop in yesterday. So busy! Today, I have a little bit of time. I have to prepare for another presentation tomorrow and then I only have one more day of class before Thanksgiving and practicum in Ottawa! While I am looking forward to everything, I am more so looking forward to shaking this horrible cough. The rest of my body feels fine but my cough is absolutely horrendous! I do not know what it could be! I had bronchitis about five years ago, so I know it is not that. It is just a deep throat cough. Hopefully plenty of sleep tonight will do nothing but help it improve!

One of our final milestones tomorrow?! 90% to the Christmas Season! That sounds like a doosey! It is hard to believe that we have come so far, but the leaves are nearing full change here and it makes me think of just how excited I am to see the Christmas Season start to make its presence felt.

I miss working out! I wish I had a group of people to work out with. It makes the time go by well. I don't want to do heavy duty lifting but back to what I use to do for 5 straight years.
