again a night of little sleep. Kandice is coughin again terribly....I feel so sorry for her...that little girl is always, always sick....poor thing

well i was supposed to be having a day of christmas shopping and stopping off for a coffee and cake with my cousin, but my baby girl is sick. i think she's had a bug as she was vomiting on and off yesterday and couldn't keep any food down. will just have to stay in and keep my eye on her today.... you just can't always plan things when you have kids, cany you? they are so unpredictable! i'll go shopping next week...

every year, mid november, our local village put up a beautiful christmas tree. the village association dress up as victorians and sing hymns around the tree, then santa turns up and switches the christmas tree lights on. everybody receives a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie and then all the children go to see santa in his grotto. it's a fantastic event and all the local kids absolutely love it. anyway, just been informed that it might not go ahead this year due to government cuts :-? the village may not be allocated the money to keep up with this fabulous tradition that the kids so look forward to. what a shame, i'm so disappointed. hopefully they'll be given the money but i have a horrible feeling they won't.

it's a tradition of mine and my families to go to this event every year, it's an unsettling feeling to think we can't do it this year.

I hope they get it worked out!!!!!!!

Happy Friday! Our house has a cold - again! My girlfriend brought her kids over on Monday with runny noses and as soon as I saw them, I knew Jude (and now Noel!) would get sick. Ughhh. My husband can't kick this cold, either. I hope he feels better this weekend so we can head out Christmas display hunting! And I reeeeally would love for him to get the living room and foyer painted~! I can't deal with this hideous 1990s floral border another minute, lol!

It's nice and chilly and veryyyy windy today. I am hoping to get caught up on laundry for once!

We are down to 70 days before Christmas Eve!! I don't know about you, but for me it seems to be going FAST.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!!!!! It has been a pretty productive day so far for me. I have gotten my laundry caught up, renewed my license plates, downloaded my handheld for work, and I just placed an order on amazon that finished my Christmas shopping for my niece and nephew in Seattle. Now I am going to kick back and realx for a little bit before I make an apple cake. I hope is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gotten my laundry caught up, renewed my license plates, downloaded my handheld for work, and I just placed an order on amazon that finished my Christmas shopping for my niece and nephew in Seattle. Now I am going to kick back and realx for a little bit before I make an apple cake. I hope is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Is she on any preventative medications? If my grandson stops taking his daily medication he starts the coughing really bad and it goes right into asthma. I know they can take these types of medication and still not be that effective for some. It did help my son and grandson.

I sure hope she gets better. I know that can be scary when they are sick.

yes, she does....she has an inhaler that she has to inhale cortison with....not happy about it...but it has to be

you have had a busy day!
I did more paper work, some shopping , made a bunch of animals out of icing for a baby shower cake, took all the seeds out of a pomegranate (very time consuming, but so worth it!) oh, I did a bit of laundry too.
Also check a string of Christmas lights and they work!
Now I am going to kick back and relax too!

Poor girl. I bet you feel helpless that she gets coughs like this all the time.

My grandson has been having a lot of problems with that and asthma. The daily medication does help. Without it, he gets a lot worse.
