Afternoon all! Sitting here at work helping people with their computers. My Halloween costume is complete and I cant wait for my Halloween bash. Should be fun! We had a bit of wet snow for a few minutes last night so that was exciting for me! Gotta get back to work. Hope everyone is having a great friday!

Good Friday Morning Christmas Pals,

The season is fast approaching and the weekend has finally arrived. Well nothing on my agenda this weekend except house cleaning. No shopping this weekend since I found that I am quite ahead of the game this year. Just 3 more gifts and I am done with my hubbys family and that is a big milestone for me. I have never been this close to being done BEFORE halloween. Anyway, I am focusing on housework this weekend and going thru more decorations. But with only 3 weeks left before lights and trees go up, I think its time to slow down on shopping and get ready for decorating. Well I hope everyone has a Fabulous Friday. And most of all, make it Merry and Bright.

had a great day today, went shopping for christmas gifts and i'm halfway there! treated myself to some new candles, apple spice and glistening snow.... they are so festive!

spotted a light up nativity scene in one of the shops, going back for it on monday, it's beautiful.

:hello: Had to swing by the grocery store and noticed they had their Gingerbread house kits on sale in the bakery. Christmas is most definitely on the way!

Pssst. There were also some fluffy flakes falling from the sky, but they melted as they landed.

In another month, I'll be snapping winter pics. :cry:


I volunteered to help out with this year's Old Fashion Christmas Walk, but only if I can hang out as security where Santa and Mrs. Claus will be. Was asked to go on a float in the parade, but haven't comitted to that yet because if I'm in it, it's much harder to take pictures of the other floats. Have to mull that one over. I offered them a free connection to a truck and flatbed though.

I know it's almost Halloween but my thoughts are on Thanksgiving and Christmas! I'm hoping for a better than usual Holiday season, it's been a rough year.

cheesy I hope it's all going to improve for you. I try to go through the motions of other holidays, but Thanksgiving and Christmas are the ones that I most enjoy.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day. I mean, afterall, it is Friday! Going to go to the ballgame Friday, watching football Saturday, making my famous Chicken Cheese Soup, AND watching a scary movie. Fun, fun, fun.

I like all the crazy people around here and the total acceptance of October Christmas decorating. I say we all just own it. We are the Crazy Holiday people! I say we just turn it around on everyone else for not being holiday crazy.

germany is griefing right now...the wife of former West-Germany leader Helmut Schmidt has died at 91 years old.....she was like the mother of the nation....so all the news are full with it...

awww that is some bad news... she was really appreciated though, and 91 is a great age!

this was taken at about 11pm as I was coming back into town in the truck with Donna. (taken from inside the truck, I did not have a winter coat with me so did not go out in it)
The snow was coming down really thick and heavy, looked great!!!

Good morning all... while in the grocery store last night my son noticed the Christmas Tree and all the Christmas decorations the staff was working on and he started singing Oh Christmas Tree...LOl ...now mind you he is only 4 years old. It was tooo cute!!! Man I am really getting excited for the holidays.

Hi all!


Yesterday had a really tiring day! Went to my work, and needed to support my boss in her round, she visits all the people that do not get enough help, and does whatever she can! I really appreciate her more now, because she works amazingly hard! And then went and visited a friend of mine,who is having a hard time because her grandmother (who is 91) has cancer, and her boyfriend (who was 20) passed away before the summer... When I got home my boyfriend had cleaned half the house super thoroughly, becuase he knows I usually like to do that before the holiday season but don't have time for that this year! Now he is doing the other half while I study! I thought it was super cute of him (but i'm afraid that he throws things away he cleans like a man, he threw away 5 pairs of my shoes because he knows i can't do it myself )

Hahahha, my boyfriend does the same thing he thinks I can't do the dishes (don't know what he thinks i do at my job - I clean houses )! I did thank him, and maybe he is right I don't wear them anymore was hoping they come into fashion again
