Good Morning, Start-of-the-Weekend Friends.

Yes, another weekend bookend is here to sandwich in the past week.
(Hey! I'm running out of new things to say here.)

Well, let's have a sandwich as we review the new morning statistics:
Days to the Season: 21
Days to Christmas Day: 63
THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY!
<< What? >>
Why, Christmas Season 2010 begins, of course!
Revel in the thought.

And my sister, nieces and I will be reveling in our visit to the State Fair later this morning.
It should be a good day with highs in the low to mid 70's and no chance of rain to spoil things.
We stand at a quite chilly 42 degrees, currently.

You have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
Keep that Christmas song in your heart.

Good morning, everyone!

A very busy week is over. Finally, I have some extra time to spend on MMC. Not just a quick post! Last night was the first time I have actually had a real sleep all week. Usually, I am awake until about midnight or 1 AM writing lesson plans for the day... Then, I am up by 6:15 AM. Not ideal at all. I'm going to write about three or four lesson plans for this week on the weekend. That will allow me to sleep and function at a proper level.

Three more weeks, you say, Crown?! Wow! How exciting is that?! In further excitement, Kim and I were at the grocery store yesterday and there were Christmas advertisements!!! One was for Glade scented candles. The other, I don't quite remember. But it had a snowman on it with a great pun of a famous Christmas song. No camera, however. I may have to head back and take a picture today! Signs are definitely popping up. There was actually snow in Ottawa last night, too. I missed it, but Kim saw it and there are photos on the weathernetwork.com. Beautiful!

Well, it should be a pretty busy week. Aside from needing to get things done for my teaching placement, my dad is coming on Wednesday. He will be here until Sunday - we will be leaving together that day as I am heading back to North Bay for three weeks before returning to Ottawa until the high schools are let out for Christmas break! Signs are definitely popping up everywhere. This is beginning the most exciting time of the year. I love it!!

Have a great Saturday, everyone!!

Good Morning everyone. We took the kids to Toys R us last night so they could pick out the toys they want to put in their Christmas wish list to Santa. They did not pick out a ton of stuff but boy some of the stuff they want is a bit pricey..... so if Santa's helpers can find some really good sales to kncok some of the prices down we will be good. We can have the grandparents pick up some the less expensive stuff.

Our son is ALL boy so he wants more trains, cars and trucks - this is where it gets expensive. The train set he wants is the Geo Trax Santa's Village. It's hugh and has some great features.

We do not buy them toys during the rest of the year except for their birthday and the easter Bunny may bring a small toy so we tend to go a little over board at Christmas.

Well got a busy weekend so I am not sure I will be back on the rest of the weekend. Our daughter is Cheeringthisafternoon, got a b-day party for a neice tonight and our other niece is being Christened tomorrow.

Have a great day and weekend!

Happy Saturday!!

Minta - sounds like a really fun night you had last night! :)

Have a great day everyone! We have a Halloween party today, a Thanksgiving party tomorrow... I made a double cheeseball & 2 pumpkin rolls last night! I'm feeling all Holiday'ish!! LET THE HOLIDAY'S BEGIN!!:sparkle:

I got a GeoTrax Santa set the day after Christmas last year at Target for 50% off, so if you can wait a day, it's worth it!!

We went to the Fall Fest at our local farmer's market today.. so fun! Jude painted a pumpkin, my hubby and Jude got apple cider donuts, and we took a hay ride.

As soon as Noel wakes up, we are FINALLY heading to the mall to look at Christmas stuff!!! We've been trying to go for weeks but someone in the family has had a cold for the past few weekends.

This is a really cute pic! And your trip sounds like so much fun! :) thanks for sharing :D

Good Saturday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I just got back from the school Fall Festival. We had a great time! I pulled 166 paying customers in the train cars my daddy made to pull behind the 4-wheeler! It took 3 hours and I'm sunburnt, but it was loads of fun.

Now I'm gonna get a tall glass of sweet tea and a Little Debbie cake.

Have a great day, everyone! cheesy

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!! It is a dreary day here in central Indy. I am still trying to recover from my 2 days of babysitting. One of my nieces has strep throat and was just laying around and whining the whole time. My other niece was hyper and into everything. I also gave my 2 weeks notice to my boss yesterday. We are losing one of our big brands that we represent and it just wasn't going to be worth it to me anymore. I was getting anywhere from 45 minutes to 60 minutes a store and it was going to go down to 15 minutes a store. I was also going to lose about 1/3 of my stores. This probably isn't the best time to quit your job without having a new one lined up but I should be okay. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey friends! How is everyone? It's wonderful here! Nice breeze and low 80's, but it's supposed to be the calm before the storm. Tomorrow, we are supposed to have some severe thunderstorms move in so we are keeping an eye on the weather.

As for today, I'm looking at a recipe website and picking out several recipes to try. The wife and I are going to do some cooking here in a bit, but I've got to have some new stuff to try out for the upcoming holidays. I'm going to do some major cooking next weekend for all the fun. If anyone wants to join, I will cook plenty (just bring the coffee)!

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I've been down that road before. Sounds like you made a choice that works for you. It's gonna be fine.

Stay safe with those storms! It's always nice to have an excuse on a weekend to stay in all day and rain is a great excuse!

I have some recipes I"ve been saving for the holidays, too.. I should get cracking on trying them out to avoid holiday meal disasters! LOL
