Thanks for the advice everyone! we decided to wait and get an ikea gift-card for our selves, just to save up... and we love flat package furniture :D

i used to love those rides as well.. but lately been having some bad news about such rides at fairs, they have been constructed badly and here in mainland Europe people having been badly injured... of course it is kin dof rare, but i don't really dare to go on there anymore...

Good morning. Time for me to head to the store and get some groceries and go and gather my work. Just been sitting here thinking about exactly what I will probably be doing in two months from right now. If I had to guess, I would just have walked back home (which is about to be right across the street) from Mom's house. I will go in and visit with the wife and we will probably watch a movie or something. Then....ah...this is another thread.

IT'S COMING FRIENDS....IT'S COMING!
 
The wind is really blowing here in northern California, and it's followed by rain. Fall is definitely here!! Yippee!

Well, we finally went to the mall yesterday - small displays up in most department stores, but no Christmas section in Macy's yet! I was shocked! They started putting up some garlands but nothing major. Jude was sooo thrilled to go look at all the decorations.. it was a lot of fun!

Naptime in our house right now.. I think my husband is snoozing upstairs with Jude and Noel is snoozing down here while I enjoy some quiet time! It's quite nice! :) We're going to head to a local trail this afternoon to go look at all the beautiful leaves and get some exercise. It's a warm day today - high around 70 I think! Perfect for a walk. We're going to see my best friend's mom sing with her acappella group at our church this afternoon, too. I am excited!

It is warm here. We are going to get up to 78 degrees today. I don't ever remember wearing shorts the weekend before Halloween before. :-?

I have been doing the same thing this morning. It is hard to believe that the wait is almost over!!!!!cheesy
 
Today is the 24th which means Christmas all day on QVC tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

8am-9am Christmas shoppe

Thursday 10/28
6am-7am Christmas shoppe
2pm-3pm Christmas Shoppe

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!!!! I am getting ready to kick back and watch some racing and football. The colts have a bye this week which means today won't be as stressful as the last couple of Sundays. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We always put our tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving. It's the last free weekend we have before Christmas.
 
Was in Wal Mart today- their trees are up.. its official...

Good evening, everyone!

A quick drop-in to say "hello!" Not much time to spare, unfortunately. I have been busy all day preparing lessons for Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet, both of which I will be teaching all this week. Hopefully I will be able to complete the lesson plans ahead of time so I can spend a bit more time on here. Hope all is well and I apologize for the fact that I cannot comment on your wonderful posts! This is my last week of placement (until November 26th!) and I cannot wait to get re-acquainted!

Only two more months until Christmas Eve! We're closing in on the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! I cannot wait to hear those Christmas songs and having the whole world ring with Christmas Cheer!

You have to tell mom, "but my other friends have their tree up"! But if you say that she might tell you, "if your friend jumps off the cliff are you going to as well"? cheesy
