Friends, another glorious weekend wraps up and we head towards another Monday. As we do, I am so lucky that I had a good weekend. Really am blessed to have the family I do and to get to spend time with them. Sometimes I get so caught up in trying to make an impact on my kids (at school) that I forget to make sure I put forth the same effort at home. I didn't forget that this weekend.
Well, we are here. This is the week that it all begins (at least for me). Halloween festivities will begin here on Saturday and then we enter November. Wow. I'm soooooo excited!

Well, the big nutcracker is done being painted in a new color scheme and today we bought some new tree ornaments....just over 1 more week to go!!!!!!!! cheesy
And just 4 more weeks until the Santa Claus Parade and 2 of the big lighting ceremonies :celebrate:

My kitty jumped on the table I have decorated for Halloween. He looks like the perfect Halloween cat and had to get a picture. =)
next week is halloween...christmas is getting closer and closer....wow...it is incredible how time has flown by.
my nephew turns two years old on saturday, so we got to visit him, and stay overnight twice....on sunday we will go trick or treatin with the girls

You guys have such a great choices! Our Holiday stamps are only presented at november 23th, and we have no choice... most of the time they are ugly.... good thing that they cost less than ordinary stamps... this is what they looked like last year:

i said nothing exciting today, but boyfriend decided he'll take me out for dinner as it's our 67th months together :lol: we don't really celebrate that any more, but we are just really lucky and grateful and glad we have each other
we're going to a traditional dutch pancake restaurant

Have a great time with your daughter! Make Christmas cookies with her. I used to make them with my kids when they where small. The kitchen was a disaster area, only 1/2 of the dough actually turned into cookies but we had so much fun!
