I will keep you update if the results of my exam come in.. (you know the one on 24th of december that went really bad) I'm really nervous because of that exam... hope it will be okay... I have spend lots of time during Christmas worrying about this...

Just think...It really starts getting fun when Hobby Lobby starts putting their decorations out....in June! That's right around the corner!

Well if you all can remember way back in the 2010 countdown, I mentioned I was trying to get on first shift at my job. Well by all indications, it looks like I am getting it. It is just a matter of them figuring out who is gonna replace me on third shift. It should be made official within the next couple of weeks. I won't be happy until I am actually on the shift though.

Well I got my Christmas present bows for next year at dirt cheap prices, along withsome more decorations all at a mere pittance . NOT taking he tree down until Friday. I have red and white lights outside and I ve decided to keep them up for Valentines day. I ll throw a couple of hearts on the windows and voila HAPPY vALENTINES DAY. I keep white twinkle lights up all year on the Entertainmaint center with the exception of Halloween and Thanksgiving . I SWITCH TO oRANGE THEN

I cant handle the ordinary-ness of January I must have "lights" " Ihave read recently that taking Vitamin d-3 helps with the blahs that many feel in the winter from lack of sunlight. I think I ll give it a shot. Have a great week everybody !

I take vitamin d also if I don't get enough sunshine. It does help a lot! Here in Texas we do get a lot of sunny days all winter long but sometimes still too cold to get outside and sit in the sun! Lol.

I had 2720 and I was a slacker for most of december. This year I will aim for 3000.

I really liked your explanation of your lifestyle change, I think it's a great decision and I'm really proud of you that you can keep up with that! Yay you indeed Your vegetable patch idea is a very good idea as well, I think it can also teach your grandchildren a lot, as lots of children know nothing about where their food comes from *at least: here in the Netherlands they don't*

I do educate the grandkids on nutrition but I also let them be kids and give them sweets and fun stuff kids like. It is funny when I make them snacks that are good for them and they say, "grandma, this sure is healthy"! They know the difference.

The days betwee Christmas and New-Year I have been spending at my in-laws, because we had a lot of things to do and to arrange for our house, but I didn't think it would be appropriate to be on the internet all the time, so I didn't manage to come on earlier, I'm sorry I missed that start, but I will certainly make that up

I am back to "normal" routine this morning. The grandkids just got here and I feel good today! The Christmas Tree is still up and lit. My house still feels like Christmas! cheesy

I know what you mean, reality is setting in here also, my wife and JP are back to school and work respectively. So just LC and myself hanging out here with our tree on. I am glad you are feeling good today.

Good morning.... a very hectic morning in our household as our daughter had to get ready for school and us ready for work. Think some major changes will be taking place this week. I was running around like a fool trying to get stuff done before coming onto work. So I thinkI will start assigning certain tasks to certain people to do the night before and the in the morning to help make the morning sless hectic. A good discussion for dinner time tonight.

Back to work for me today also. I miss you guys very much. Its weird because I try to get on this site almost daily (usually at work) and then once the best time of the year gets here and right around Thanksgiving hit this year with us all getting sick and me only working about 2-3 days a week in December I got so busy I havent been on hardly at all. Anyways I love coming here to keep the Christmas spirit alive especially when no one else is thinking of Christmas. I know you all will keep the spirits up through this gloomy January month. Happy New Year everyone!
