Astounding news! Congratulations! It took me a long time to get into my district, but I am glad I waited!

Good Day Chrsitmas friends, havent been around in the last few days. I have had a marvelous turn in events. I landed a long term sub job in the school district in which i LIVE ,THE SCHOOL IS LITERALLY DOWN THE STREET. It is really hard to get in this district and the teacher I am subbing for is going to retire in the fall ,I could honestly have a chance at getting a full time job in the district. This could not have come at a better time and in fact came at the utmost perfect time. Prior to this I didnt know how we were going to pay for everything in Feb. Believe me when I say it was divine intervention. It literally fell in my lap. I hope you all are doing well, and everytime my Christmas Carol Bell Clock chimes every hour I think of you all. Friday evening already..... the weeks pass sooo quickly for me. The kids keep me busy! There is always SOMETHING I could/should be doing, but sometimes I just throw in the towel for the day. The laundry can wait! Time to have a glass of wine....

Good afternoon, Christmas friends. It stayed chilly somewhat today, but the skies are still sunny! I am so exhausted from this week, and especially today. Having 16 kids out of 30 with major attention issues and behavioral issues is mentally draining. One example: on Monday I gave out new mechanical pencils and new erasers. I reminded the kids to take care of these. Within seconds of giving them out, one kiddo had torn his eraser into several hundred pieces because he "didn't need it!" Of course a few minutes later he needed it so I handed him one of those small pieces. It went exponentially downhill after that. I had to suspend one kid today who just kept on being defiant all day. I guess he thought I wouldn't make him miss the Valentine party on Monday. Okay, enough whining! Bring on the Chardonnay!

Well appears to be something bright off to the left of the picture which is what caused what ever to happen. Almost wonder of a piece of lint or something was on the phone. They have a very small lens and takes very little to cause a distortion of the picture.

My sister in Seattle thinks she had a ghost visit her on Christmas morning. Here is the picture she says proves it

I have given her a hundred different things that could have caused it but she insists that it is a ghost. So what do you think?

I am probably the only woman who doesn't have a million shoes. Like I said, I am very frugal. I own just the basics, good pair of sneakers for work, a couple of pairs of dress shoes, a couple of pairs of sandals and some boots. They are all basic colors to go with everything. So with the investment on the running shoes I had to make sure I MUST train for running. I absolutely hate to see money wasted. Just ask my husband, I will find every way possible to save money and spend wisely. He said he wasn't frugal until he met me. :lol:

I am frugal as well, although my post sounded like I am one of those "real housewives" who live for Jimmy Choo's, :grin:t-aint me...

...I got through my very first week of midnights !! It was really tough though. .... So confusing. Anyway, the people at the new company seem really nice and are very willing to help with any questions, etc. I just hope we can work this line count thing out !! It is nice to be off on Friday and Saturday and I am really tired.

I loved reading about how everyone got their screen names !! Thank you for sharing !! My screen name is pretty obvious ! I love animals, I have 3 canines and I think of them as my furchildren, hence I am their mom, their canine mom !! That is why I am caninemom3 but I have had as many as 5 canines at one time. Heck, if I could I would have a million furchildren but I would not be able to give them what they need so I do what I can !!

Glad the people at your new job are nice! Surely the line count must work itself out... Hope you can get some rest this weekend!

It just irks me that I actually watch those shows! Not all of them but followed the one of Beverly Hills. I am a Kelsey Grammer fan, Frasier, and was interested in seeing what his wife is like, now ex-wife. I watched the whole dang series and found it entertaining and annoying at the same time! :lol:
