Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good morning,

Supposed to get to the 40's today, it is a little warmer than usual. Work beckons in a couple of hours, never know what to expect now. LC is doing ok on his potty training, he just needs to realize he needs to take a break from playing to go every now and then. I still feel quite tired this morning, even though I slept like a rock last night.

Well today is turning out to be complete hell on earth! mountains of paperwork and that is on top of supervising the control tower! deep breath count to ten and repeat.....Hope everyone is having a better day than me!!

Well when I went to be last night there was a house across the street. When I got up this morning I wasn't so sure it's still there. We have very very thick fog this morning around here. Not seen fog like this in years. Then to top it off and I am blaming this on the fog I thought it was Thursday and started getting ready for Thursday things then it dawned on me it's only Wednesday. I swear I am such an idiot sometimes.

Just tell everyone the fog got in front of the calender. cheesy

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday afternoon was hectic for me. Nancy took Jacob to his weekly guitar lesson in a nearby town, and I had to get Elizabeth to her dance lesson. I also had a lot of work to do on my business, so after work at 5:00 I started on my business till 6:00, then took Elizabeth, then worked till 7:00, then picked up Elizabeth, then worked till almost 8:00. Whew!

I got done in time to watch funny videos, though, so it's all good!

Good Morning!

Indeed Christmas-A-Holic, we are over the hump (or at least we will be after midday) and ready to coast on downhill into another glorious weekend!
(And isn't that view to the weekend nice from the peak-of-the-week?)

Speaking of views, here's a great one of our declining count:
Days to the Season: 270
Days to Christmas Day: 312
A scant 12 days now until the 300-day window to Christmas opens to let the sun of the 200's stream in!

Another chilly begining here in Raleigh where we have started just above the freezing mark on our way to the low 60's and wonderful walk weather!
And no more than a 10 percent chance of rain shows through the weekend.

I made many, many visits to the control towers in Iwakuni and Hiroshima. Saw the runways foamed on two occasions. I'll never forget the first time and the ATC chief asked the pilot, "How many SOBs?" I finally found out what that meant!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Chilly and sunny here in norther California. Rain is supposed to start back in tomorrow. It was sure windy and rainy yesterday! I will probably be last in line today for the fired twinkies. I love coffee, but I will take unsweetened tea and will add Splenda. I just cannot handle too much sugar, so I had to decide: sweetened tea or fired twinkies? I think I made the right choice!!!

Sometimes at work I look at all the stuff I have to get done and think to myself "it will NEVER get done"! Quickly I try to clear my negative thoughts and say to myself "no biggie, I got it under control"! Once I get in the groove of it all, I get through it much faster than expected. It always feels great when you get it accomplished! cheesy

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!! It is a spring like day here with a high of 54 expected. My plan for today was to watch nascar practice but it is raining in daytona so I am going to work on organizing my chest freezer. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Wednesday everyone!
What a night. William had breathing issues and a fever. Today my Wife is taking the day off to take him to the doctors. At least its looking like tomorrow he can go back to daycare. Restless night due to William tossing and turning. He was crying and talking in his sleep. I'm starting to get hungry! My lunch isn't until 2pm est due to my work schedule. They now have 1 hour lunches instead of 30 minute ones. 1 hour is way too much time for me. Id rather have my 30 minute lunches back but they wont allow me. Doh! I listened to a bit of Christmas music on the drive to work! Seems warmer out today and that was a change. We have been bellow freezing for quite some time. Hope everyone has a merry day!

Go through the thread and hit "multi" for each post you want to reply to. When you have selected them all hit "post reply" at the bottom left and there you go! cheesy By the way, if you messed up we don't think you are stupid! :wink:
