.....The red birds seem to be the agressive ones chasing the blue birds away and then there are these tiny little birds that looked like they just hatched and are in the mix too.....
Since you live in the South as do I, we probably get a similar variety of birds at our feeders.
Do those little bird have striped heads? If so, they are likely chickadees. We get many of them around here.
Lots of cardinals and towhees too with the occaisional blue jay.

Good morning all... well my extended weekend break finally came to end. Back to work....

Having several days off in a row and mix in some snow made me really think a lot about christmas. Christmas of the past and of the ones yet to come. Have been thinking about alot of little things we have done with the kids in the past that I want to bring back. I have already started work on a tentive schedule of places/events to take the kids too. I am all excited for Christmas and we still have many months to go yet....

Well I hope everyone has a great day!

Morning all, another cold dull day here, was woken up at just after 2.30am by the phone ringing, naturally at that time in the morning we jumped out of bed thinking something bad had happened! Turned out to be a wrong number!!! It was a man asking if steve was in haha!! (we dont know a steve ha!)

Just set out some paints and crafty things for the kids, should keep them happy for abit while I get some things done!

Have a great wednesday everyone!cheesy

It is so scary when the phone rings in the middle of the night like that, at least it was only a wrong number. Hmmm, I wonder if Steve was sleeping at that time of night.

I had a wierd dream...

I had one of the strangest dreams I ever had last night, You know how rams but heads, well I dreamed I was butting heads vs a ram and when our heads met I knocked the ram unconscious, I got up looked at the ram and started jumping up & down almost like "in your face" type of taunting of the poor ram.

So strange.

Good morning,

Today is my late work day, I will get home around 10:30, and then be up in the morning tomorrow for 5:30 to go back in, as if my sleep schedule wasn't already thrown off enough. My wife's grandmother is still hanging in there, but she is a little angry that she keeps waking up in the morning still on this Earth she thought she would be "home" by now. The Dr's saying she may actually get better, I don't think that is going to sit well with her at this point. LC is doing great with his potty training, it is so great to see how proud he is of himself, hopefully he keeps it up and the training will be done soon.

Have a good Wednesday! :wiggy:

..."Both of them," indeed---minus two points for negativity! I'll bet you've got twice as many listeners as that!

Seriously---honk if you listen to the Mistletoe Mix!

That's where a Christmas notebook helps.

Actually yes and there are more of them than the red or blue jays..they have taken over last I looked.

I have a small fan on all the time when sleeping, cuts out on all those annoying background noises.

I do the same,if I am out of town it drives me crazy if I don't have a fan!

I had one of the strangest dreams I ever had last night,

So strange.

Well at least I am not alone:). My dream was horrible,I kept escaping only to be caught before I could jump the fence and then tortured...

If you are like me when I hit my 30's everything changed. In my 20s it did not bother me to work any shift, but now I am so regimented that any little change throws everything off. staying late and then coming back early always was hard for me too.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is chilly with overcast skies here in northern California. When I checked the weather last night, the possibility of snow is for Friday and Saturday. If it gets here, I am sure it will be NOTHING like what y'all have had. If I can just get enough for snow cream, I don't care. I hope everyone has a great day.

*Honk* I listen to Mistletoe Mix!!!

Just in case anyone is interested: Crockpot Chicken Marsala

chicken breasts and thighs (I used boneless--4 breasts, 6 thighs)
1 stick butter (I used 1/2 stick of butter and some garlic infused olive oil}
8 ounces cream cheese (I used green onion and chive flavored)
2/3 cup Marsala cooking wine (I used one cup)
2 cans mushroom soup (I used one can roasted garlic cream of mushroom and one can cream of chicken and herb)
3/4 cup water (I used 1/2 cup chicken broth)
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil (I used fresh basil)
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (Did not use)
salt and pepper to taste.

I also added portabella mushrooms and one onion, chopped.

Brown chicken in skillet with melted butter and olive oil. Remove chicken to crockpot. Add onions and mushrooms to skillet and cook to desired color. Mix cream cheese, wine and soup until combined and pour into skillet, heating slowly, just until blended. Pour mixture over chicken. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low or 4 to 8 hours on high. I then made basmati rice with chicken broth as my liquid. If you wish, you can use cut up chicken meat and serve over cooked egg noodles. If you try this, let me know what you think.

Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

It's been extraordinarily busy here at work for the last couple days, but I finally got a chance to sign in. I got a new computer here, with Windows 7. there's a bit of a learning curve, but so far it looks great! I like the fact that I can use pictures from my vacations as rotating desktop images!

I hope you all have a great day! cheesy

See I did have HD as soon as I moved here and was very disappointed. You could play HD and non HD side by side and I swear I could tell no difference. So I cancelled my subscription with dish network. Now I do have a blueray player and I can really tell a difference but HD I could not.:-?

On a HD TV? Yes I do see a difference if it's an HD program and a HD TV. Just this last weekend I had the Daytona 500 playing on 2 TV's One had an HD box the other does not and sure could see a difference there. Now i have digital cable so I get a great picture anyway but even then the HD is so much sharper and cleaner.

Good Afternoon, Everyone! It's another sunny day here, and even though it's still cold it's very pleasant outside. Maybe I can get off work a little early and do some work in the yard.
