I LOVE Mexican food. How lucky can I be that my B-Day is Cinco de Mayo? We are having Mexican food tonight--just the two of us; tomorrow night we are going out for a Cinco de Mayo Celebration!! Thanks, CAH!!! CM3, I am waiting on your reply about your paper dolls!!!

Why have I never gone to Byer's Choice?! It's sooo close to my house (as in, like 10-15 min away!) and open YEAR-ROUND! Christmas - all year - and FREE! My friend (who just joined the site and I hope will come chat soon! Hi Meredith!) told me about it yesterday and I am wondering what the heck has taken me so long to get there! Maybe I can go on Saturday as part of my Mother's Day?!

The sun is shining and today there are hundreds of garage sales in my area and I am not going - too many things to do yet. Tomorrow I will go and it is supposed to rain - oh,well, should be an interesting day!

I hope you have some good luck. Next week is the Brimfield Antique Show and Flea market up here, (next town over from me) they claim it is one of the largest Antique and flea markets in the world, and it happens 3 different times in the spring/summer/fall. I will convince my wife to go one of these days so I can find some really cool vintage Christmas decorations.

Do you have the Princess Diana paper dolls?

Actually, I think I do have the Princess Diana ones.....I will have to look !!

Some of the best ones come from Dover Publishing. I will have to check my supply!

I have an account with Dover Books which is where I get all my paper dolls from !! Most of the dolls are drawn by a WONDERFUL artist named Tom Tierney. I actually spoke to him once on the phone.........I got brave and called a number I had for him and he answered the phone !! So I talked to him and asked if maybe there could be a Henry VIII and Wives paper doll book sometime.......He loved the idea......and guess what !!! A short time later......Henry VIII and Wives was a paper doll book !!! I think I bought like 3 or 4 of them........but I might have to buy more before they disappear !!

I know this may sound sound lame, but Hubby and I went to Taco Bell for chalupas. They were fantastic! Tomorrow night, we are going to a Cinco de May Mayo celebratltion at the Red Bluff Elks. It promises to be a great evening! This has been a great birthdayday. I received three great bouquets at school, had a mini party with cupcakes, went out to dinner and got lots of Happy Birthday good wishes. Thanks to every=one! It was wonderful! Getting older does have have its perks!!!

It promises to be a great evening! This has been a great birthdayday. I received three great bouquets at school, had a mini party with cupcakes, went out to dinner and got lots of Happy Birthday good wishes. Thanks to every=one! It was wonderful! Getting older does have have its perks!!!

I LOVE paper dolls......I will try to take an inventory and let you know......I am almost positive I have Princess Diana.......But the book itself is probably not in good shape.......I have some of my PD books packed away and it has been a while since I went through them......I know I definitely have Barbie PD books.......those are not through Dover but someplace else.......I will take an inventory and let you know tomorrow !! Anyone know anything about cars??? We just got our catalytic converter replaced maybe 2 months ago and the check engine light just came back on!!! Ugh! It's a 2002 Subaru Outback if that helps!

If you take it to a autozone or advance they can tell you what made it come on. They are not allowed to turn it off though.

If the car isn't running bad it will usually be something to do with the emissions. If you haven't had new oxygen sensors put in they could be going out especially if you had to replace your catalytic converter. Also if you just got gas it could be as simple as the gas cap isn't tight enough.

I am in the final stages of my bachelor-education I finnished the internship well, now i am focussing on my thesis!
Our house is coming along well, they think we'll be able to live in there by september! That would be so amazing!

Hey Judesmama- ask around to see if anyone has the code kit- it is a small device that you plug into the fuse box and it gives you a code- you look into a booklet and it tells you why the check engine light is on...
