Nothing big planned for tonight. I have to say I don't understand why this job makes me so much more tired than any other job I have ever had.....But it does. By the time Friday morning comes I am exhausted.........So, not much for me tonight but RELAXATION !!

Did you mention the other job you had was a day job and this one is overnight work? If so, I bet that is why. Some people never really get use to working overnight but it comes real easy for others. I don't think I could ever get use to it but I never tried it either. I would probably be exhausted alllll the time.

I hope you feel rested soon!!!

Good evening, Christmas friends!

What a day! Went out to some of the garage sales in my hometown and found a few things. It was a nice day to walk around. Didn't see a lot of people this time around - last year it was real crowded. It didn't rain until we got back to the house and then it poured for about a half hour.

Spent the day with my cousin - she found out that her gall bladder has to come out as it is full of stones and is harming her liver and her bile ducts. She has a consult with the surgeon on the 25th of this month. I've been trying to help her out as much as possible this week and will continue to do so up until she goes in the hospital.
She is relieved to know what is wrong and anxious to get it taken out - getting out of the house was good for her and she seemed to have had a good day

CM3, I went garage saling today and picked up Japanese Family sticker paper dolls, Chinese Women's Fashion Paper Dolls, and Japanese Warrior Costumes Paper Dolls - they are by Dover. Some of the dolls have been cut out, but the books themselves are in great shape - I think all the pieces are there, but it was crowded in the church so I could be mistaken. When I find an envelope big enough, I'll send them your way!

Hey there Christmas friends! Hope all is well with you guys I'm still busy, busy with work at the restaurant, but we are slowly getting things under control. Tomorrow is my first day off (besides Sundays) since April 2nd! And I have a GREAT reason to take the day off - I'm graduating! I've been working on my bachelors degree off and on for almost 11 years, so I'm pretty excited. I don't think I thought this day would ever come!

So, I guess I have the whole weekend to relax now. I could use it! I'll be going to a home party tomorrow night, so maybe I'll use it to pick up a few Christmas presents. We shall see. I also think that I'll take the opportunity to get a massage that I've had a gift certificate for. I wonder if I could convince the massage therapist to play Christmas music for me in the background. That would truly help me relax!

Hubby and I are trying to decide about a movie to watch tonight. I was thinking Love Actually or The Holiday. He was thinking Star Wars. Hmmm...we seem to be on very different pages, don't we? Here's hoping that I win this one!

Mouse had a nightmare early this morning and in trying to calm her down, I woke up fully and then couldn't get back to sleep. What with that and all the fresh air I enjoyed today, I am really getting sleepy. I'm going to go relax as tomorrow Hallmark and Hallmark Movie Channel are free for the weekend. There is a Christmas movie on and I plan on watching it - yay!

A friend had to put to sleep their 12-year old dog today and I was curious if you believe dogs and other animals go to heaven after they pass away? I ask because there is someone at my work who said dogs don't have a soul, so they will not get to heaven. It made me think what others have to say on this topic.

I don't sound like a typical lady but if I had a choice of movie it would be Star Wars! BUT I will take your side, I hope you win. :wink:

Sorry to hear about your friends dog. It is hard to lose a furry family member.

That is a great debate if animals go to heaven but in my heart I expect to see them there!
