I liked them all except Deep Space Nine. I never really got into that one. The latest movie was GREAT!

Went to Ben Franklin last night & they are in the process of getting out their Christmas decorations! YIPPEE!!!! I took a picture of one of the displays w/ my phone & sent it to my friend who is a Christmas nut too. I told her "LOOOOOK... CHRISTMAS!!!"

All the Ben Franklins in our area closed - I miss the craft department the most - loved the holiday kits!

TGIF! Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

My family took me out to eat for my birthday last night, and it was wonderful. There's a little Italian place in a neighboring town that I love, and I thought we were going there, but we went to Olive Garden. The lasagna was great!

My daughter (with the only minor assistance of my mother-in-law) baked me a wonderful birthday cake, and wrote "Happy 47th Birthday, Daddy" in the icing, and drew a picture of the Enterprise from Star Trek. She's so talented at 10! I'll post a pic soon. Try not to be too jealous, Christmasstar!

I think Nancy and I are going out on a date tonight, so I'm looking forward to that. I hope ya'll have a great day!

Good morning, Christmas friends. It will be hot again today, and I have lots to do to get ready for our semi-vacation. Hubby has to attends lots of Elks meetings; I probably should, but I will sky out as much as possible! I tried the new pain-control patch last night. It works great, but there is a downside. You can only wear it for 12 hours, then it's 12 hours off. It works about eight hours. Even with that, I did not sleep well; so I spent my time finishing a book and reading some teacher material. I guess it will be nap time this afternoon (but don't tell Crown). I will pop in off and on today. If we hit any posting milestones, I will take care of the "prizes" when I am on a computer. If I don't have access, I will take of prizes when I get home. Who knows? I might pick up some valuable stuff in Phoenix!!!

I'll keep you in my prayers - have a safe trip!

I just got back from Michael's and I have to say that they didn't have much of anything at mine. They had a few of the felt stocking kits and some Christmas stickers and that was it. They had a lot of boxes sitting around though that are hopefully full of more Christmas stuff.

I just had some good news...I've been working extra hours to cover for one of the other girls who is out sick, and the boss asked me if I wanted to make it permanent. Yay! More hours = more cash=easier to pay bills and buy Christmas things!

Wish has come down with aother episode.......He knows where he is.......he just can't stand up.........His head is kind of moving odd too. He kind of looks like an odd bobble head......only not as "bobbly" just kind of weird............I was in hopes he would never had another episode. Like I said.......he knows me, knows where he is, I just don't get it. He is laying here cleaning his arms..........

Proud Mummy alert here!!!! My 2 elder girls came home today with their end of school year reports and they couldnt have been any better!!!!
They are both doing really well, try their best with everything and are well behaved! Just trying to decide what to do with them as a treat now!!!

Well, I have finished all the laundry and ironed anything that needs it. So all our things are laid out and ready to pack. We are heading out early tomorrow morning and will try to get to Kingman. I can hardly wait to get to Cracker Barrel! Yum! Yum!

My mother-in-law is a caterer and bakes cakes all the time, and she talked Elizabeth through it, but E did it by herself. I'm so proud of her!

I will get there too, but for now I'm still enjoying longer days & sunshine!!! It was SUCH a long winter!!!

Holiday, I'm with you ... don't take away my sunshine and warmth too soon! On top of which, I was turning blue from the air conditioning at the office earlier today ...

We need to even out the temperatures across the country so we can all be comfortable. :-D

I stepped outside for about 20 minutes at around 5:30 pm and stood in the shade to talk to my neighbor. I was pouring sweat and got nauseated from overheating. I am still not feeling well. It's almost 7:30 pm and only dropped to 100 degrees. =(

Oh well, they put out a heat advisory for a good reason. I got to be careful out there.

I am jealous but HAPPY for you all that are having a comfortable summer.

I know how it goes, if I lived up north I would be loving the summer and probably dread the winter. :wink:

CM3, I am so sorry. Does Wish seem to be just fine, as if it never happened, after having an episode? My doggy's have both had seizures and afterward were perfect! This was over 6 years ago and they are still healthy.

I pray all will be ok!

My neighbor and I have been taking care of stray kitties for a few years. They are multiplying and we are afraid of it getting out of control.

We called a non profit organization that will trap the cats, get them fixed, shots and release them back to us. A lady dropped of some traps and she will be by Sunday to pick them all up. We will get them back here on Tuesday.

I am so excited about this! It doesn't cost anything to have it done, just give a donation of whatever you can afford, which I plan to do!

Wish is fine between these episods and yes.......just as if nothing happened.........Nobody would ever know that ever he had such episodes. This one today was over super fast like in 10 minutes. As I have said multiple times........He does not lose consciousness, he is not confused.........he does not lose control of bowel or bladder.....just gets like kind of "wobbly".......and sort of like he is "drunk"..........but he knows me and where he is........

Funny thing about Cracker Barrel, when my wife and I did our road trip to North Carolina, on the way down we stopped off at one for a great lunch, and on the way home from Charlotte, NC to Chicopee, MA (659 miles and our home at the time) we counted over 20, we still talk about it every time we see a Cracker Barrel cheesy
