Good morning, Christmas family!

I hope this finds everyone well! I have a busy day of working and cleaning, the usual, in other words, ahead of me. This morning I pulled out a polar fleece blanket for Mouse to use - it seems that fall-like temperatures are here in Mid-Michigan! Deadlines are looming, so I had best get going!

Good Monday morning friends!

I've had a long and busy weekend, but it was nice! I celebrated my birthday and I can't say that I've had a birthday this nice in quite some time. I'm officially in my thirties now, which isn't bad or old or anything - it just sounds very different to say "I'm in my thirties" as opposed to my twenties. Yay for a new season in life!

Because of that, I haven't had a chance to check in this weekend - how have our east coast friends held up from Irene? I hope all of you are okay and have little damage!

I'll be starting the Houseworks Holiday Plan today. Its a home organization and Christmas prep plan that gets you more organized and done with Christmas prep ahead of time so that you can enjoy your Christmas season better. If anyone wants to follow along with me and a few others, I've posted a thread for it on the "Chit Chat" forum, under the "Home & Family" section.

I've got to run off to work now! Hope that you all have a fabulous day cheesy

Sorry it has taken me forever to post!!! We are all good the worst was we lost power until about 10 PM last night!!! So I am not complaining at all!!! Wow, I tell you I live on Long Island and well to be honest I did everything they said so nothing flew away, windows secured, the only thing was my poor doggie she had to go and well she normally knows never on the grass she was so confused with the wind and the rain and me telling her it's OK, she finally went, I felt so bad for her. But, we are OK. Just a lot of cleaning to do. I hope everyone one in the South was OK, I haven't checked in with all the posts and not to sure if I will be able to until tomorrow. Just know I am thinking of you all and hope all was as good with you.

Good New-Week, Hurricane-Free Morning, Folks!

Yes, Irene is but a bad memory this fine, clear, calm morning.
The sun shines, the birds sing, the dogs bark, the kids scream, Binger slurps.
.....And all is right with the Christmas world!

As an early travel alert, we may be voyaging over to the coast this weekend to check on things and (hopefully) enjoy the Labor Day weekend.
(If so, a countdown volunteer will be needed, of course!)

Just over 2 1/2 weeks away now from the 100-day Christmas Day Milestone.

Good morning, Christmas friends. Another day in the high 90s forcast for us here. Meceka, I would be glad to have some of your fall-like weather. Just think, 76 days until the Season; I can hardly wait! Back to School Night is tomorrow, so I have to go in early today and try to unpack a few more teacher books to put away. I also have a bone density scan tomorrow morning. Everyone have a great day!!!

Well, I went to the courthouse this morning and qualified for mayor. Regular qualifying dates are today through Wednesday, and write-in candidates have until mid-September. After that, assuming no one else qualifies, I'll be on my way to being mayor of our little town. Ain't that crazy? LOL

Saturday, my son and I cleaned up around my shop, then we all went to Olive Garden with BIL & SIL. While we were waiting on our table, Nancy & I walked in Hobby Lobby. It was wonderful with all of the fall and Christmas decorations out! I love that place!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!! It got down into the 50's last night so I gave my air conditioner a rest and opened the windows. It is getting pretty muggy this morning though. I am going to put an oxygen sensor on my neighbors van this morning and then it will be back inside to watch a christmas movie. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
