Christmas Countdown - 2011

Wet, gray, and dark today---like a lot of other locations, temps are supposed to drop below freezing the next few nights, and the rain may end with a little wet snow. The air conditioners are definitely stowed away until next May. I'm trying to keep a corner of the TV room clear for a little second tree this year.

I'm defintely coming down with a cold. So I'm getting ready to head into walgreens to get some cold medicine. Then maybe I can come back home and get some sleep.

We bought William the new Winnie the Pooh movie. He LOVES it. He was dancing and screaming watch out and uh-oh when he was watching it. Very funny. Not much new here. Working. LOL. Always working it seems. Oh well. Have to pay the bills somehow! Just popping (Whoops almost wrote pooping) in to say hi! Have a great day all!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm leaving for the Smoky Mountains today!! The kids are in school till 3:30, so I'm working till lunch, then heading out to do a little last minute work and packing. I can't wait!

My son and I went out to his hunting spot last night around 9PM to download the latest pictures from the stealthcam. We got lots of pictures. 3 different bucks, and several does and yearlings. There's even a smaller animal I can't exactly identify. It sort of favors a coon, then a fox, then a bobcat. Who knows? This camera is one of the coolest things I've bought in a while!

I'll try to find some wifi while I'm travelling so I can check in. I hope y'all have a great weekend! cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!!!! It is going to be a cool day here in central Indy with some scattered rain showers hanging around this morning. I once again couldn't sleep. This time it's because I couldn't stop coughing. I'm defintely coming down with a cold. So I'm getting ready to head into walgreens to get some cold medicine. Then maybe I can come back home and get some sleep. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Georgia,it could be anything!. I have a small fishing pond in my backyard and I swear when I feed the fish there is an unidentified species that looks half fish/half snake...EEL im thinking,it's just wierd looking...I wonder if the above animals you mention can cross breed?Hehe..oh well have fun in the mountains I bet there is still alot of color up there too!

Thursday late shift today for inventory, I really don't want to go but it's payday so that means it is time to buy another box of LED C7's. I got nearly 8 hours of sleep last night, which is rare for me, I feel more energetic but I am sure work will zap that out of me. I cleaned the house up this morning, we have a busy weekend ahead of us a lot of Halloween festivities to go to. I am wondering if I should pick a Christmas CD to listen to while I drive to work, hmmm, which one.

Well, off to work I go, I have watched the news and there may be a possibility when I drive home tonight it could be snowing, they are now saying we may get a coating to 4 inches.

That will put my already hyped Christmas feelings into overdrive.

Well I have made it to lunchtime. I am working with some officers that really are never here and it is so nerve racking to have them looking over my shoulders!! I am eating a cajun roast beef sammy and a plum for dessert. Half the work day is over hope the afternoon goes just as fast. These ppl just need to stay out of my way! I hope everyone is having a great thursday! I meant to say that we have decorated the control tower for halloween too! so it does look festive in here...Too much to wish for a tree At christmas though I bet.

that was one of the wildest parties I ever attended at the Pines! Where did that haunted house come from? I do not recall ever seeing a house in that spot before.
Must have been what caused everyone to run into and throw stuff. Of course, Carl has never put that container on the steps before, but boy did it splash a lot when you knocked over the 5 gallon pot of his new pumpkin blend while riding the toboggan down the stairs. He is going to be cleaning all week!

Good morning everyone. My stomach is in knots today. I have alot of work to get done,but it's a dreary gloomy day here which was a surprise I thought it was going to be party sunny today,but I will take gloomy because it is so rare around here. The trees are still very pretty with all the contrasting colors of Autumn. Well wish me luck that I actually make it through today without flipping out everyone!! have a great day!

I'm having a somewhat decent week this week, seems like I am more encouraged, positive and energetic the closer to Holiday season I get!

I am drinking a cup of Pumpkin Spice coffee from Sheetz, I have been hooked on this stuff for the last couple years, it is only available around Halloween, but next to Starbucks Christmas blend, I look forward to this coffee most all year. In case some of you never heard of Sheetz, it is pretty large convenience store chain here in the Mid Atlantic states, (PA, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina are the only states they are in so far) but they have some fantastic coffee too that rivals Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts IMO. They sell it by the bag too and online as well
