Christmas Countdown - 2011

Good afternoon, everyone!

Happy Huuumm.. erh, Wednesday! It's mid-week and the 'Pines is decorated beautifully! Carl was not kidding when he said that he had even more Christmas decorations than last week! Everything is Christmas. Yes, it is the Christmas Season!

The office has been a little busy today. I've had plenty of things on the go. I meant to visit a little earlier, but I may have been a little sidetracked... I just finished reading an article today that Ottawa has experienced its warmed November on record. The average high for the month was 9.9c! That is unreal. Considering our previous average high was 4.8c. More than a 5c difference. Strange weather patterns.

We could actually be in for some snow this evening... Finally. The 14 day forecast seems to be getting back to a seasonably average temperature, too. Such a return should help make everything feel more like Christmas.

November is almost over and December is nearly upon us! The Christmas lights will be brighter and the Christmas music and bells will ring louder. What a wonderful season. Have a great Wednesday, everyone! We're more than halfway through the work week. The weekend - the first weekend of December - is almost here!

I am still not feeling 100%, but going to work anyway. My head still feels like it is being squeezed by a vice but I will work through it especially with the time off upcoming in December for surgery. The last day of November is here, yippee, ABCFamily 25 Days of Harry Potter, er, umm, sorry, Christmas starts tomorrow, hopefully they will have some new stuff on this year.

I always watch that every year along with Christmas in Washington, but every year they get to be more and more like pop music/rock shows.

I wish they would perform with more traditional Christmas songs. After all, it is billed as a CHRISTMAS special, for heavens sake.

Now we're sitting here eating pizza and fried mushrooms, and drinking vitamin water (I had to get something healthy in there). After 1:00 when the patients leave, I can start on the waiting room. That sounds like so much fun! to me it reminds me of being in elementary school and the teacher letting us take the day off to help her decorate the classroom...! We have a tiny tree in the control tower,I wish we could decorate here at work. Now the pizza and fried mushrooms sounds so good! I wish I would have:dance: not skipped lunch

Thanksgiving night we turned on some show that said it was Christmas and had country singers on it and a fully decorated stage. It was the last half hour of it but I only heard one Christmas song, the rest were not Christmas at all. I changed the channel. =\

uggg :( my little brother (13 years old) is hospitalized tonight... they are busy with him right now.... i wish i could help in some way....

Just a few more hours! I took my test and think I did okay,I will find out in a week of two...it's been such a trying week,I still can't believe it's only weds!! I got a text from my brother and he is just about to leave salt lake city for Atlanta,so I expect him to get at myy home around 6pm. Have a great evening everyone! I wish I could go to the pines!!!

We had a dusting yesterday but then it warmed back up and turned back into rain and melted everything we had got. I got about half of my wrapping done before my back started hurting. So I gave up and I'm saving the rest for tomorrow.

He just got out of the OK and has woken up alright. He is very tired but he is an amazing kid! I just hope he will be able to come home before saturday. We are celebrating Saint Nicks day on saturday, and he had been looking forward to this for months....

I am very grateful that he is doing well, you get so very shocked whenever a close one gets hurt....
