Did you get pictures? I bet it was hilarious!
A friend of a friend took a picture because I'd forgotten. Once I upgrade my account here, I will definitely post one! He looked great!!!
I LOVE laser tag!!!! One year we went to Vegas when my daughter was about 9 years old and we were at Circus Circus hotel amusement center. We played laser tag for 5 straight hours! We would go in and play, finish a game then jump back in line for another game. It was so much fun. I think I was the only adult lady that was playing all night against mostly kids! Ha ha! My daughter and I had a blast!
That sounds like an amazing time, CAH!!! Do you know if that's still around?
Yea, I would call it one anyway. I know a lot of people who don't go there anymore. Hershey is really nice and I love going there, but just has got so expensive.
I feel the same way about Hershey. It's the closest amusement park to us but even going to Giant to get a discount on tickets doesn't really help anymore. DF, FSIL, her husband, and I went to Cedar Point in June and a 2 day pass cost less than one day at Hershey! We're actually thinking of going there every year instead of Hershey, even though the drive is a little rough. Plus Cedar Point has more (and better!) coasters!!!
Hi every one,
We had a pretty bad two weeks, my brother is still in the hospital, no reason to be joyous at all here... but now he's getting better, we hope he is will home around this weekend so BEFORE christmas! which is very very important of course, so i will keep my fingers crossed!
I still can't believe how ill he got... thank you all for the support, it is awful to see a family member like that... i'm sorry about the season, but i'm glad it seems like he'll be home for christmas!
Wishing nothing but the best for your brother, you, and your whole family!!!
I graduated last Friday and I had my school formal on Monday. Half of my friends are departing and going their separate ways. It's sad to see them go, but at least I can keep in touch with them on Facebook. My school formal was amazing. The atmosphere was electric. Everybody had the time of their lives.
Congrats on graduating! I remember that feeling from 3.5 years ago, nothing compares to it! Best of luck to you. =)
Good news every one! my brother gets to go home TOMORROW hurray hurray!
I am beyond thrilled (oh bother, you can only use 3 smileys in one post, but i am really happy indeed!), now i have to get caught up on homework and prep for christmas, but it will be a great christmas, cause we can all be together, and that's really all that counts!
thank you all for your prayers, i'm sure they were heard!
That is SUCH great news, kerstig!!!
First off,Thanks to all for the prayers!! and thanks so much for the hugs and kind words, CM3, big giant hugs right back to you!!!!!!!! and for a few friends who messaged me a huge thanks to you too!! it means more than you will ever know.
things like this, little things,is why I love MMC. yes everyone has a facebook now a days, but how many "friends" really are there when you need just to vent or talk or whatever? here it's like we all are truly family and understand. up and downs, highs and lows, laughs and even a few tears, we care and love one another like crazy!!! and even the silly one's like me need cheering up from time to time. I think the LORD blessed us all the day he put it into Mr.Jeff's mind and heart to make MMC. I'm not always the best with words, but I know I am blessed with having to have met some of the nicest sweetest folks here on MMC and I am honored and blessed to call them all my friends and Christmas family. Just wanted to say that and now back to your regular scheduled programming of the Christmas Countdown forums...........LOL
I COMPLETELY agree, lil!!! This is the best forum I have ever been a part of, hands down! I love each and every one of you, even if I might not be as active as many of you! <3
Just talked to my mom and father in Oregon. My dad sounds better as in his frame of mind. He was more upbeat than earlier in the week. He gets so easily tired out in the Physical therapy, but he said he is moved up a number on thier scale. when he gets to a 5 he will get discharged. He is in a 2 in most things now. His dr's are amazed at how well he is doing since this happened just 38 days ago!( he was comotose the first week) he also broke his leg in the car wreck so he is getting the last of his casts off Monday. My mom had a few broken ribs and she still has a wrap she wears but I don't think it is all the time now... both mom and dad sounded very good just now over the phone..continued thanks for everyones prayers as they sure are working!!!.My siblings and some aunts/uncles are going to be able to visit with them all through the holidays and I of course will call them to wish them Merry Christmas while we wait on the little one to show up any day now....yes this is kind of the unoffcial way the Dr's is putting it now,she said everything is in place for him to make his debut!!!! 2 and a half weeks away! Okay need to start warming over the leftovers for dinner....tomorrow night I will grill steaks!
That is SUCH great news, dawg!!! I will continue sending good wishes/thoughts their (and your) way for their recovery. Also, I will keep you and Brandi in my thoughts...I know the last few weeks before the baby comes are full of excitement and the unknown and should be treasured! I know you guys will be great parents!! BTW, can I come over for steaks tomorrow? =P
Three words: Key Lime Pie
I love that stuff!!
I second this!!! I have a key lime cheese ball I've been meaning to make...maybe I should do that now since Brad made me hungry, lol.
We are home from our quick trip to Chico. Just finished the facelift surgery. The laser stuff is killer. Almost cried. But it is feeling better. I must order some Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine to help ease the pain. Not even Carl's special blend could ease the pain!!!
I hope you feel better soon and recover quickly!!! <3
Hello everyone! Well I am completely warn out. having two jobs this time of year has really robbed me of the Christmas season. all I do is sleep and work.. I mean I am thankful for these two jobs, but I'm exhausted and have no time for friends, family.. I don't even get too see my boyfriend:/ and I live with him!!!!!
Britt, I could not have said that better myself!! In my next post updating about my goings-on, I was going to put almost this exact same thing. I don't know why this year is so much more tiring than last, but I'm ready for the craziness at both jobs to be OVER. I didn't think it would be so much to ask to be able to ENJOY Christmas, sigh. I hope things settle down for you soon and you can relax and spend time with your friends, family and DB! <3
