That's probably a good plan. Do they give you a brace to wear? I know my mom's doctor had her wear her brace for the first couple of weeks back to work just to provide some extra support until she got back in the groove.

No, I just have an elastic sleeve that goes over my foot. Almost like a sock with no toes. cheesy

Good evening! Sorry I was MIA earlier today, but I've had a busy day. I got home from work and went to bed for about 3 hours, got up for lunch and made a cheese pizza (since Lent started today), DH, the kids, and I then went shopping later this afternoon.

This evening, we had church and then we out to eat with my family for Italian. Church had a very powerful message tonight. I am glad I went.

I am going to try to get caught up on the countdown from today. If not, I will tomorrow. I hope everyone had a great day! Enjoy the rest of your evening! :-D

Watching the Bruins take on the St. Louis Blues, lots of offense after 1 period, I have to get ready for my first day back and go to bed soon. My foot has started hurting tonight, enough for me to take my medication to quell the pain. I hope that is not a sign. Took the boys to the beach at the mall today, they set up a huge sandbox for the kids during winter vacation, the kids love it.

Whew!!!! The horseradish was for Carl's new roast beef sandwich. The new blend for this week is an orange, peach, and banana coffee. It's actually really good if you add a splash of cream to it.

How does a horseradish, roast beef, orange, peach and banana coffee sound to you? Seawaters can throw all of that in her new Vitamix and blend it up for you! (I suddenly feel ill).

I don't think Carl approved of that blend at all. :wink:

Oh yeah, the CD I pre-ordered more than a month ago came in today, it is one from my favorite group (The Move) called "The Move: Live at the Fillmore 1969." It is awesome, the group just sounded amazing live. I wish I was alive to hear that band play, of course they disbanded The Move in 1973, and continued on as Electric Light Orchestra after that with a different sound. I have waited for this CD to be released for the better part of a decade, and it's finally here. Wooohooooo!

That sounds quite nasty, but I do have a tip for all of you, roast beef and Buffalo wing sauce tastes great together, I discovered that by accident on Christmas Eve 2011. When I have both together I plan on using it in a sandwich. Shhh it's my secret recipe. cheesy

Hello all! As of yesterday I finally started getting some energy back from the cold I have suffered for awhile BUT then yesterday I moved a real small table and it got hung on something and I pulled a muscle in my back! Oh yay! I was really having a tough time sleeping last night. I have had issues with my back for over 20 years. No biggie, I will be just fine! I am still trying to plan on going to the gym. Let's see how that goes. cheesy

Glad to hear your back is starting to feel better, but sorry to hear you injured your back! Hope you feel better with that!

It is my last day of "freedom" today, back to the grind at 7am tomorrow, unless doctor tells me otherwise. It will be nice to get back to my normal routine, but I will be exhausted while getting back to a normal routine. We have little plans today, we are watching our friends daughter while her mother is at a meeting today, then after that who knows what we are doing.

We just got back from church with a quick trip to Walmart afterward. I was the Lector tonight. I really like doing the Scripture readings. I hope you all have a great evening. It seems like it was just Christmas, and here it is Ash Wednesday already. That's always been the first milestone before Christmas for me. To me, the year looks like this;

Ash Wednesday
Easter
Memorial Day
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Halloween
Thanksgiving
Christmas

New Year's eve is in there too, but it's observed more as the end of Christmas Week for my family.

So let's see.....there are only 6 holidays left until Christmas!

my city is acting like one that has millions of citizens...and we are only 82.000......last week...a poor 16-year-old has gotten raped by allegely two boys and needed to have emergency surgery.....two days later there was a Nazi-Demonstration (most of us are good people...but as in every country...we got a fair share of racists, still...I wish people would ever learn)...and a day later there was a big fight of 20 grown men, with knives and guns, they belonged to opposing gangs.......that was a bad week for my city............maybe You could pray for that 16-year-old girl, that she will recover and one day overcome what those boys have done to her...I wish they would go to jail for the rest of their lives....but with German laws....those boys might go to juveline jail for 2 years and that s that then......so mad

My prayers for the young girl Track, you are right all places have those kind, hope that young girl pulls though.

kandice is at sleep, and I think the cat as well...watching some champions league soccer game right now...my team bayern is playing...not sure if i will watch it til the end tho...feeling quite tired the night

Hubby and I went to Costco today and they had the Vitamix 5200 on sale. We bought one. I loved the samples of smoothies they had. I think this will help when I go through chemo.

Its 10:39pm and I have mmcr 2 playing! Christmas music just makes everything feel better doesn't it? Not much new. My Dad is doing better due to his cellulitus. It spread into his foot but he is better, so that's good. Work is work. Bleh. But seeing everyone at the pines was awesome. Carl kept giving me candy canes. I'm not complaining. Stock pile for the summer! Oh. Something new. William and I watched the new Muppet Movie. Wow was it GOOD. Ill be picking that up on dvd March 20th when it comes out. Took me back to my childhood! Well time to watch a movie and relax! Have a great evening everyone and prayers to all!
