Good Morning, Everybody!

My Goodness.
We have cycled back around to 'Pines Day again already!
(How can these weeks be flying by so fast?)

What else is cycling?
(Besides Les Bicyclettes de Belsize.)

Well this, for one:
Days to the Season: 230
Days to Christmas Day: 272
Our next Milestone, the 1/3 mark to Christmas Day, will be here four weeks from tomorrow, followed immediately by the 200-day Season Window,.
Can't wait!

Another cool night after a cool day yesterday.
But back into the 70's we will go today with no rain in the immediate sight.
(If only that accursed pollen wasn't all over everything it would be "the best of times" weather-wise.)

Well, sir.
Carl is all ready for the final 'Pines open house of March.
The theme will be "Good bye to March....Hello to April".
Not sure how that will manifest itself as far as decor and door prizes is concerned, but it intrigues me enough to want to show up.
(Of course I would anyway, but still.....)

You have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

Sneaking in before getting buried in work ... I'm hoping on slipping away to the 'Pines tonight to watch the action! Happy Wednesday, everyone!

I also have bad news for everyone. I didn't win the lottery so no party. The good news though is that no one won it. So we still have another shot on friday.

That's okay ... we still have the Party at the Pines tonight, and we can all think positive thoughts en masse for Friday's lottery.

Uh-oh. Sounds like we'll all have to be on guard against Carl's April Fool's jokes! I think I'll bring my own teabags ... heaven knows what the Twinkies will be filled with!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a dreary morning here in central Indy but the sun should come out soon and we should reach a high near 70. My brother in law works late tonight so I don't have to babysit until noon. I think I'm just going to bring my niece's back to my house and let them stay the night so I don't have to get up early tomorrow. I also have bad news for everyone. I didn't win the lottery so no party. The good news though is that no one won it. So we still have another shot on friday. Well I'm off to get some stuff done before I have to go get the little ones. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A bunch of us at work put our money together and get a bunch of tickets, of course we would get the cash option and split up. There wouldn't be anybody left at work if we won, the bosses would have to actually go out in the warehouse and work,.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday was Tuesday, so my daughter came to my office while Nancy took our son to guitar lessons. As some of you know, I used to play in a pretty busy band, so I have hardshell road cases for my guitars. I let my son use one when he takes his guitar to his lessons. Well, yesterday afternoon he was supposed to put the guitar in the back of the car, but got distracted and put the case on the ground behind the car...and forgot it. When Nancy backed out, she heard something under the car. Thankfully, it was under the car and not under the tire, and the case took all the damage.

I know they're called "road cases", but that's taking it a little too literally!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Yesterday I went back to the salon to have my hair fixed. It looked okay in there. When I got home, my brother looked at me and said, "Is the right side of your hair longer than the left?" Needless to say, I went back to the salon again this morning. It seems all fixed now. I hope so!

I have a lot to do today between classes, assignments, and actual work. I have been so busy lately. We are supposed to get some severe thunderstorms here later this afternoon so I want to get as much done as possible early on.

Hope you all have a short day at work and that you and your families are well!

oh well, I will get my suitcase unpacked then. Maybe next time.

at least the guitar is OK, seems we all need to learn the hard way sometimes.

glad to hear you got your hair the way you like it.

My daughter is getting to end of her semester, she says she will be very glad to have it over with! She is going back for the summer term and will graduate in September. Then it is off job hunting .

Thank you! I am also getting to the end of my semester. I have five weeks left of school, including the week of finals exams. I have to graduate a semester later than I should due to the fact that I switched colleges and some credits did not transfer over. I am also taking a class in the summer. I hope that she's able to find a job!!

It looks like the cash option right now for Friday would be $359 million. So after 60% is taken away in taxes that would leave $143.6 million. I could live off of that. Heck I could even live off the interest from that.

I did win $2 dollars last night so I'll get 7 tickets on Friday. That should increase our odds a little bit.

Good afternoon, everyone!

Happy 'Pines Day! Hard to believe it is the last one of March, too. April is coming quickly. Sunday, in fact. What a celebration this will be. Although it is not quite warming up here, I know that sunshine and the beautiful sights of Spring are on their way. I always forget how much I really enjoy Spring until it is finally here. The only downfall right now? Well, we don't have another Milestone until four weeks from tomorrow! April 25th is a ways away.

Still no news on the job front, but I am optimistic. At least my dad will be here next week. I'll be able to hangout with him and then maybe - just maybe - have a job for the following week. Otherwise, not much else is new, either. After taking yesterday off, I will be returning to the gym after work today. I'm still a little sore from Monday, but I'll be all right. Deadlifts and Overhead Press. Hooray!

Well, I hope everyone is doing very well!

Almost his entire back was visible!

Good morning my mmc friends
Hope all is good your all this morning
Most be over a week since i posted but i have always been looking in at the posts
What a week i have had. i have done nothing all week only spead money. work and run
Last was the last week to get stuff from the supplier that was closing down so i was buying all i could. but he let me go on to monday so i got some good deals monday and tuesday.. So i now have 17 pallets of mixed stock and 15 pallets of christmas stock. never in my life have i had christmas stuff in as easly.. my transport firm are going to have kittens..
As well as that last wednesday a friend this past while was always complaing of being able to hear his hear beat and being so sleepy all the time. so i made appomtment with his dr as he was not gonna do it. and he made him go to casulity and they keep him in. turns out he has a enlarged heart due to muscle damage. . that started a running session..everynight i had to take the father to the hospital which is 25 mile away . there is no one else as his sister died n her sleep 2 years ago .no one knows why and his mum died last year..i looked after the mum so i always was in touch
But it kinda was scary. as he is a big tall fella whi worked hard. and now he cant even walk 10 yards untill he is out of breath..
Anyway the father and him cant understand anything the dr are saying so i have to talk to the head nurse and them try and explain it to them.
They kinda have it under control. and last night are talking about letting him home. i wood love them to keep him in. as they have no one to help with food. washing or cleaning..and the son always looked after the father as he is a bit hard work as hes 83 and has heart problems. and the father can be very stressful . he even annoys me and am pretty hard to rattle.
They asked me to help and wood pay me but i dont think i can do it as it wood leave to much pressure on me. and i live 10 mile away
remember shelliegirl, gotta take care of yourself 1st....or you'll be no good to anybody! i'll pray for your neighbor!

girl, you did right, keep going back until it's right, which hopefully it is now!! if the storms hit later, you be careful!

Okay I'm leaving my mom in charge of my niece's and I'm headed to the pines. I can't wait to see what Carl has planned for those sling shot hammocks.

Gee. Don't talk about those slingshot hammocks, Made.
Gives me the creeps.

found this old picture of the pines entrance,
card09429_fr.jpg

I have never seen this, thinking maybe it is no longer used because Carl kept bumping his head on the bridge?

Hello all! I have been a little sick but thought I would come on over to the Pines for a refreshing beverage! cheesy

I sure do miss a lot on here when I skip a day. Hopefully I can catch up on the Countdown!
