Well I am on diaper duty tonight so I thought while I was up I would log in here.! i'ts only 2 am! is that normal? I Just have to have a dose of Christmas in June!!!my allergies are driving me crazy I feel like screaming and crying like Jordan right now.! This year they have been really good but boy I am catching it now! well I am going to o read some more threads! good early morning!

Good afternoon, Christmas friends. I now have two weeks off chemo. Hopefully my energy level will rise later on, probably by Saturday. Is tonight's dinner at the Pines calamari or CARLamari? Either way, I'll be there. TTYL!

Glad to hear that. hopefully you get a bit of energy and feel a bit better even if it is only for a week or so.. every little helps

Weather today is mild but its raining now and then
Just have the rest of yesterday,s pallets to finiash today
I am never in my life taking as many furniture and building pallets again
They are really hard work. and time consuming. i bought 19 pallets. think i still have 10 ,you never seem to get tidyed up
I have to try and get them finished today as i have 2 more tomorrow. well one is kids furniture which is really nice all painted with designs. and the other is household
Hope all furbabies is behaving.
Right think i need another cuppa so will talk later. take care and stay safe..

okay this last post before I go off to take a shower and get ready for the gym then work...Maybe the workout will give me energy....I just take a 5 hour energy and I was having thought of taking a nap.lol Have a great morning everyone...! Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a decent day here in central Indy with a high of 72 degree's. It looks like we are going to get some much needed rain this evening and overnight. I once again don't have much to do today. I just need to wash all of the rugs around the house and then I can take a nap since I am up way to early. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

The Crowns will be taking their final trip to the coast prior to the commencement of the rental season tomorrow afternoon and a countdown volunteer will be needed for Saturday and Sunday mornings.

:hello: Good Morning everyone! A nap sure sounds good to me right now as well. I was up untill 2:30am last night because I had a house full of girls spending the night (for graduation practice at one of the local colleges this morning) and they were all up until late because I could still hear them giggling untill I fell asleep upstairs. You should have seen all the morning sleepy heads, when I had to start getting them up at 5:30am to start taking turns in the bathrooms. I had to drop them off at the school by 7:00am then head straight to the office... I foresee a long day today - Thank God there was a good cup/ pot of coffee waiting for me.... I hope everyone has a nice day today because we are over the hump heading for Friday---Yea!!!!:-D

Morning, everyone! About to jump in the shower and go to work. Can you believe that yesterday it was 95 and right now it is 64! The high tomorrow is supposed to be 72! NICE! Can't wait for tomorrow morning to sit on the deck and drink some coffee...

:sparkle: good a.m. my mc family! only 1 more day till the weekend!! woo hooo!
we are starting our slow season @ work so we all end up taking extra days off where needed. like everyone i need the work but i sure am looking forward to the time off. i just feel worn out & achy all the time so i guess the extra time off will be nice.

we are doing P90X. it's a cluster of dvd workouts. very very intense & you have to be a machine to be able to do the entire thing, especially just starting out. hubby & son workout in the shop together but me & daughter work out inside where the a/c is after they finish. we don't last as long as the peeps on the dvd but we are doing it. the guy says to just do as much as you can so that's what we do. according to the guy on the dvd we should work our way up to it but......it's kind'a strange, the soreness from it doesn't come until the next afternoon & WOW it really hits you hard. i am sooo out of shape!! lol!

the weather here is muggy & hot. i am thankful i have an indoor job this time of year. i still have some areas of the yard that need mulch put around them. i didn't plant much @ all this year.

my s-i-l & i are not really talking right now. she allowed my daughter to do something we never would have. it happened back last fall but we just recently found out about it & i confronted her. i did not yell, just told her we were very upset w/ her & daughter.
s-i-l lives w/ my rents. daughter has been back over there & s-i-l doesn't really talk to her as if she's mad @ daughter for telling us. my brother didn't know about it until after she had allowed daughter to do this & he even said something to daughter for telling us. hello!! my daughter had gotten into trouble the weekend school got out so she was already in deep trouble but then her brother was talking to her & found out s-i-l had let her do the same thing last fall. hubby, son, & i were livid. i think my daughter was so upset by disappointing us that she just told all. now, even though, we did nothing wrong, my s-i-l & brother are causing a wedge between us & my rents...& that ain't gonna happen! my dad is 80 & knows nothing of it but my mama does. i'm sure he's wondering what's going on. hubby said to let it go because atleast it will keep my brother & s-i-l from coming over all summer to the pool & hanging out. that's the only time they hang out here. i'm extremely close to my rents & it's not that i'm staying away from them, i've just been really tired from work, but i'm worried mama thinks s-i-l is the reason.....i think i'll go over this evening after work to see them.

sorry didin't mean to run on about this, i don't have anyone else to talk to about this.

Wow, I didn't think they were that old. I only found that one picture of them I posted yesterday, the boxes don't have any dates on them all they say is: Lunissa Lunissa Max Eckhardt-Shiny Brite, Poloron. I will take those pictures when I have a chance. (I am still waiting to pick up my antique sleigh, that is nearly 1 year ago )

More on Max Eckhardt---he started the American manufacture of glass Christmas ornaments, which had previously come principally from Germany.

"Polaron" refers to Shiny Brite ornaments made with a coating that resembles porcelain.

"Lunissa" is actually "Lanissa"---it appears to be a West German manufacturer of glass ornaments. Not sure if they were affiliated some way with Shiny Brite. I couldn't find out anything about the company, just a lot of listings for Lanissa ornaments for sale.

Some people use "Shiny Brite" to designate a certain type of ornament, when in fact it was a particular BRAND, so it gets confusing sometimes.

There appear to be quite a few Flickr online photo albums of vintage ornaments, but I haven't investigated them. Try Googling the various terms and see what comes up for you! A Flickr photo album is where I got the "Polaron" information.

That is a hard one. but whatever decision you make to speak or not to. dont let your parents suffer for it. Go over and see them when you get a chance
But for my optition for whats its worth. your she sgould not have aloud your daughter to do something that maybe was wrong she should have checked with you 1st . after all she was over at there house and she was trusted to keep a eye on her..
