Hey Y'all!!!
5 months till Christmas eve!!! WOW!!!! I got my Christmas cards, and of course the kids all swarmed me at once!!!! LOL, soooo I Opened them!!! and after I'm done I got a couple of things to do here then it's on to cleaning cleaning and um yeah more cleaning and the dreaded laundry!!! To me the Laundry NEVER gets done and I think I have a sock monster stealing socks when I put them in the dryer!!! Hope everyone is well and I'll be back later on. Big Hugs MMC family!

UGH what a night !! I won't go into detail but I had GI "distress" last night. Up and down to the bathroom like a yo-yo. Today I feel washed out completely and I have no idea how I will ever get through my 12-9 shift today. All I want to do is be still and drink water. I will give it my best. Cross your fingers for me.......I will need all the good wishes and thoughts possible today !
I will hopefully be back later tonight to catch up on what I missed here today !

Baking cookies sounds like so much fun. Today would be a great day for that here our dreary/rainy/weather! How fun to have a CIJ party with your mom & kids! ENJOY!!!

Monday is done ! I filled out all the paperwork and sent it back via
e-mail attachment already to my new employer !! I actually worked for this company back in 2009 at which time I had two jobs. I unfortunately let them go instead of sticking with them.
I will be an independent contractor and not an employee and have no set schedule. I will type whenever I want to and as long as I produce the lines I promised - no problem. They require a couple of hours on the weekend but after having jobs for the past 7 years where it was all day Saturday or Sunday a couple of hours will be no problem.
I just hope they have enough work. My present employer has made no reply to my resignation as of yet. If they don't want to say anything, I don't blame them, after all, I did leave them and go back once. If only they would have been a little flexible.......and this last time they bold face lied to me....I just don't think that is tolerable. They told me there is no radiology on dayshift but I know that there is from looking at the time the doctors dictate the jobs....oh well. I guess they think I am stupid or something or just not worth their time.......I have to say they were COMPLETELY heartless when Ivy was dying..they did not want to let me off long enough to put her to sleep....That was kind of one of the final straws......Someone so unfeeling about animals can't be any kind of a person or a company. The owner of my new company and I hit it off right away three years ago....She is an animal lover like me !! We talked about animals today..She seems like a very nice lady. I will certainly do my very best for her xo
My Hermione is 8 months old today !! I can't believe it !! She was just 8 weeks old when we brought her home.....Now she is a big girl though still very much a puppy......Wish is doing well. He is grayer and some days he seems so stiff from arthritis. It is those times I gladly carry him wherever he wants to go. I wish I could give him part of my heart, I mean physically. Maybe then he wouldnt need all the medicine......

Happy Tuesday, everyone! We finally had some rain over the weekend, and everything looks much better here. I was starting to worry; even the weeds were drooping, and the birds were lining up to take a bath under the sprinkler. Now we are back to good ol' summer heat and humidity, which is still better than just plain old hot and dry.

Ooh, thanks for posting! I have some of these, but not all of them. The Poinsettia Throw is one of those that requires cross-stitching on top of the crochet. The Christmas Wreath Throw is made up of granny-type squares and half-squares arranged to form the wreaths. The tree skirt would be perfect for a country-style or rustic tree.
I hope you are feeling well today! Very nice of hubby to have dinner ready!

Good afternoon!!! We went on vacation & we are back & we had a great time & how does that time go so fast???? It is so hard to go back to work after several days off!!! But it was great. We went ziplining - what a blast! My hubby's uncle's place where we stayed is just beautiful. He has a home on 100 acres in southern Ohio... talk about getting away from it all!
At least I have Christmas in July at the lake to look forward too next weekend. Friday night is "Christmas Eve" - we are having snacks & watching the fireworks over the lake from the town festival. Saturday is Christmas complete with Christmas dinner - I am making a ham, my neighbor a turkey & everyone else is bringing all the fixings: pumpkin pie, dressing, sweet potato souffle, mashed potatoes, homemade noodles, + more & of course eggnog! After Christmas dinner is a white elephant gift exchange, then we are watching a Christmas movie on the big screen. We are talking about Christmas Vacation, Elf, or Christmas Story. Looking forward to it!!!
Sounds like a nice vacation and a nice "Christmas Eve" celebration you have coming up!
Kids just love water play! My mom and I take the grandchildren to water parks quite a bit.
