Post 24553 (the previous post here) was made on November 12th of last year....it was a post by me...and we were all getting ready to kick off the season....
Good times....good times....
Tonight has been a good night. I'm a crazy football fan and my team is playing tonight, so I've been glued to the TV since about 5:00 watching al the coverage. It almost bedtime, but this will give me something good to watch (or at least I hope it stays good) as I drift off to sleep....
I've got to go to two road games this week...so it might be Saturday before you see me back...so have a good rest of the week!

Have been busy this past few days with the shop and stock

Weather is nice over here cool but dry about 14c but you can feel it getting coolier at night
Just found out my friends brother has 2 mouths to live . and my friends is cracking up as the brother is telling nothing and one knows the right way of anything. his mum thinks he is gonna be ok but going by what i can hear and what i have learned i wood say the mum needs to know
My friend is on the phone 2/3 times a day, hes says he cant handle it . the same person has a drink problem ( i mentioned him before on there)
I was here for him when his dad died 2 years ago, but a lot of water has run under the bridge since then. like about 4 weeks ago he went on the drink all weekend and wanted me down to his on the sunday to talk to him. and i said i was not going down as i was just back from a car boot sale and said we could talk on the phone ,he got very angry and sent me a text saying " he wished i wood drop dead" ok he said sorry for it later that evening. but its in my head since.
I told him he should never say that to anyone as it can come back on you .
I know you should turn the other cheek and all that but am finding this a hard one. i dont think i can be there for him like i was for the dad. is that hard of me ???????????
He has just fell out again with his girlfriend and he was just about to say that he wished her dead to when i told him to shut his mouth yesterday..
But anyway other than that life is ok.

Good morning everyone!
I have returned from my vacation back home in Sault Ste. Marie. What a wonderful weekend it was! Kim and I arrived at about 2 PM on Saturday and were out at camp (cottage) by 4:45. It was beautiful to be out there for nearly two full days. So peaceful. Following camp, Kim and I returned to my mom's and had a great time. The food and the atmosphere were both excellent. I always enjoy seeing my family. It's always good to be home.
We landed in Ottawa yesterday at 2 PM. It was only about four hours of travel time to return here. Not bad, considering I used to bus (12-13 hours). Now, it's back to the real world. Kim will work today and I have to go into work to sign some papers for my upcoming contract. I can't wait to get paid again!
The weather here is suppose to reach about 34C with the humidex. The "ber" months have not yet arrived. As always, though, I will take the warm weather when I can get it. It will be cold soon enough. Also, signs of Christmas will be popping up soon enough, too! How exciting! Only 10 days left until the 100 Days to Christmas Milestone... Only about 20 days left until the Christmas Blossoms thread... Wow! We're really moving along. It's nuts when you're gone for about five or six days!
