Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good evening Christmas family. Not too much going in here. Another good week with my new company which I now feel is "home". I am currently trying to teach Hermione that there is somewhere else to sleep and I am trying to get her used to the idea of sleeping in my room with me. I don't know if she is mature enough yet but we shall see. I just am not resting in the living room couch very well anymore which is the only place she has ever known! !

Holiday - Praying for your family too. Is it your SIL or sister who had surgery? No matter..I will keep praying. I am so sad that you all have to through this.
I haven't forgotten Buster either. What a sweety.. and what a personality! !!!

Thank you all for all the wonderful thoughts about all the pain I have been in. Somehow knowing that others care makes it easier to go through. Today it has been much better! !!

It's my sister in law. My brother who passed away in March - his wife. And thank you! Yes, Buster does have quite the personality!! Lol!

We finally got the keys of our new house yesterday, so a week of cleaning and moving is ahead. Most importantly I have agreed on the position of the Christmas tree come the time. Priorities and all that have a great weekend folks.

Well, Jacob passed his driver's exam, so we have another new driver on the road. Heaven help us! The DDS office is about 30 miles from here, so we let him drive us home. Nancy was a backseat driver from heck, though. She had him more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. But, we made the trip back to Bellville, then everyone had their picture taken with him and his new (learner's) license.

I'm at Bernie's this morning, cooking sausage and drinking coffee.

Just one more day until a day off, we are planning to go apple picking on Sunday, and having Pizza, apple and pumpkin pies for dessert. Yummy!

Apple picking sounds fun! Something I have never done since we don't have apple trees here.

Autumn is here? It's going to be in the 90's most of the week but at least it's cool in the mornings. I will take the 90's over the triple digits any day so I will be happy for that!

I noticed I missed a lot of post for those who need prayer. I saw a few replying to things going on and I will be praying! Hopefully I can stay caught up on here? (I know I have said that before, we will see!)

Good Morning Christmas Pals!!

It's a beautiful bright sunny day here in NJ. First day of fall, so Christmas is not that far away. I got up this morning and got on youtube and looked at people make roast turkey and stuffing. Yes, I am ready to start my Thanksgiving plans. Today hubby, daughter Kayla and I are cleaning out my office space. I decided to become an agent of an online travel agency and I am excited!! I love travel planning. It's been a hobby and now I decided to take the plunge and do it as a small home business.

Well I can't believe we only have 93 days til Christmas. I got out my Christmas countdown clock, but unfortunately it doesn't allow me to begin the countdown until October 1st. But that's ok, because I countdown everyday with or without a countdown calendar! :-D

Hubby went to Home Depot the other day and asked about the Christmas Decorations. He said he got some weird looks but the salesperson proudly informed him Christmas will be on the shelves next week!! Hubby is ready to get the icicles lights on the house before it gets too cold. So usually they go up in late October or early November. Wow!! It's almost time!!!

I seem to be full of the holiday spirit today, so I intend to go out and spread the joy of the upcoming season. I hope you all are having a VERY MERRY day!!!

Wow!! I know the feeling. My 6 year old daughter Kayla gets up EVERY MORNING before 6am since she was an infant!! We thought she would out grow it. We were sadly mistaken!! cheesy

50 Days to the Christmas Season on Monday seems like a nice accomplishment as well! I hate to say that it's a reason to look forward to Monday, but it's something that will make Monday a little easier on us. Not to mention the fact that we'll hit that Milestone on Tuesday, too!

It's a quick stop in for me. Kim and I have a few plans today. She has to mail her laptop to HP for repairs. I have to get my hockey skates sharpened. I have my first game in almost three years tomorrow. It should be a good time! I'm hoping to go out and throw prior to dinner tonight, too. I need some exercise before Endless Shrimp!

Oh, of course, Happy first day of Fall! It's already the final season before Christmas! Signs of Christmas will be popping up everywhere from now on. The excitement builds. As a lot of have posted, we truly are ready to "Step Into Christmas," momentarily! I cannot wait!

Enjoy your Saturday. Today is Equinox! There will be an equal amount of sun and darkness throughout the day. From here on out, we'll be receiving more darkness during the day until we reach Winter Solstice on December 21st! Another great sign of Christmas!

Saturday morning hello ... gray and chilly, very autumnal. Busy day. Have to drive up to the North Shore for an appointment, then meeting Mr. at the in-laws' (his mom is going to show me her iPad), then some dinner and hopefully some evening relaxation. Gloria's interview is on the radio (plus streaming on the Internet) today in Chicago---info is here---scroll down a little to Sept. 22. I won't be home, but I have an online recording scheduled, and I'm looking forward to it later!

Tomorrow I'm hoping it's slow and easy ...
