Hey gang! About to get setup for the day...going to get my work, phone, computer, remotes (with three channel flashback ready with qvc and football), and my favorite...candy corn with peanuts! Boom!

This morning, I went to sit on the deck and it was chilly! I wasn't out there too long. It was 60 and I was in shorts....brrr.....

Today is going to be one of those Sundays...you know...when you sit around don't do much of anything....you know...the best kind of Sunday?

Sunday hello ... another BEAUTIFUL day with cool temps, and we're both home all day! I've got a little website updating to do, and Mr. is cleaning and repairing a film he just bought. We'll probably go out for some lunch later, then come home and screen some films, since we have the whole evening to ourselves.

Saw MIL's iPad yesterday, and I think there's going to be one in my near future. Anybody here on FaceTime or Skype? cheesy As the season gets closer, it can be an iChristmas machine. I'll load it up with Christmas music, movies, photos, and books.

Chad isn't allowed on the horses. He has to ride the sheep.

watching White Christmas right now and Kandice is painting...just took another painkiller....lol...for real...the good thing about is...I was starting the little headache...at least that one is gone now.......anyhow...today I will do a littlebit of work in the house...just a little tho...cant do more...tidy up a lil...cooking...laundry....and my daughter has just now decided that we do a christmas movie day...oh how i hope she will keep up with this!!!

I think with your influence & her love of Christmas already, you're set!! Enjoy your Christmas movie!! And I just said a prayer for you. Hope you're feeling well again soon!

Went out last night with the girls from work, had a great evening! Just got the Roast dinner on the go now got my mum coming fer her dinner today!!

Wayne and I took the baby squirrel to a Wildlife Rehab Center yesterday. It was really cool there. They had quite a few rescued bobcats, horses, dogs, cats, racoons and more. We got to tour around a bit. They even had one baby squirrel there and now that we brought another one, he has a friend. I thought the baby squirrel I had was not going to make it but he is doing very well, so glad of that!

We went to Walmart yesterday and they had a few aisle of Christmas goodies out, trees, lights, yard decor and more!

I got a full day today so going to try to read a bit of the Countdown before I go.

It was meant for you to rescue that squirrel, just so the other squirrel would have a friend! You are so special! Have you heard the "fable" about the starfish where a little kid is walking along a beach and picks up the stranded starfish and throws them back into the ocean. An adult approaches him and asks what he's doing. The boy explains that he is throwing them to safety. The old man looks down the miles of beach and sees so many starfish and talks about how, with so many starfish, it really won't make a difference. The little boy, with a starfish in his hand, says, "It will make a difference to this one."

Our golf outing was great...beautiful day! My SIL is home! I am under a blankey on this chilly morning wathcing "Christmas Bunny" on Netflix... all appears to be good around here!

I planned on reading all of your posts from yesterday & this morning before I posted, then I realized I have 30 pages to read! You chatty people! So I'll post 1st, then read...I need to get my hiney outside for a walk!

Believe it or not, but it is overcast here in northern California. Oooo, maybe that means it will cool off and maybe even rain. I love rainy weather in the fall. I plan to go over to my classroom and get ahead in making copies for at least two weeks. I have my lesson plans completed through February now, and all I need to do is make copies of learning packets for each week. We have school this-coming week, but we are off the first week of October due to our 6-1 calendar. All of us at school are really looking forward to that first week off! When we come back, we will work on Halloween stuff; and then we will be into November! After three weeks of working on more fun stuff, we will be off for Thanksgiving. Then we will be back for three weeks of learning and some fun Christmas stuff and then "Home for the Holidays." I just LOVE this time of year! There is so much to look forward to and to plan for. Have a great day, everyone.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day with a high right around 60 degree's. I don't know which one of you talked to my niece's last night and told them that it would be fun to get up at 6am this morning but thanks, I apperciate it. I see a nap in all of our future's. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Christmas Pals!!

It's a beautiful bright sunny day here in NJ. First day of fall, so Christmas is not that far away. I got up this morning and got on youtube and looked at people make roast turkey and stuffing. Yes, I am ready to start my Thanksgiving plans. Today hubby, daughter Kayla and I are cleaning out my office space. I decided to become an agent of an online travel agency and I am excited!! I love travel planning. It's been a hobby and now I decided to take the plunge and do it as a small home business.

Well I can't believe we only have 93 days til Christmas. I got out my Christmas countdown clock, but unfortunately it doesn't allow me to begin the countdown until October 1st. But that's ok, because I countdown everyday with or without a countdown calendar!

Hubby went to Home Depot the other day and asked about the Christmas Decorations. He said he got some weird looks but the salesperson proudly informed him Christmas will be on the shelves next week!! Hubby is ready to get the icicles lights on the house before it gets too cold. So usually they go up in late October or early November. Wow!! It's almost time!!!

I seem to be full of the holiday spirit today, so I intend to go out and spread the joy of the upcoming season. I hope you all are having a VERY MERRY day!!!

My countdown clock starts on Oct. 1st too! I can't hardly wait!!!!! :smile:

Wow!! I know the feeling. My 6 year old daughter Kayla gets up EVERY MORNING before 6am since she was an infant!! We thought she would out grow it. We were sadly mistaken!!

Sounds like a morning person by nature...like I am a night owl by nature! )

Made always does a great job letting us know all the holiday counts. I received this in an email, and it makes my heart beat fast just realizing how quickly we are approaching my favorite holidays.

Well, Jacob passed his driver's exam, so we have another new driver on the road. Heaven help us! The DDS office is about 30 miles from here, so we let him drive us home. Nancy was a backseat driver from heck, though. She had him more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. But, we made the trip back to Bellville, then everyone had their picture taken with him and his new (learner's) license.

I'm at Bernie's this morning, cooking sausage and drinking coffee.

So let's see. I took my niece's to the apple orchard to get apples, the grocery store, and to toys r us to get some Christmas ideas. Then I took them home. While at my sisters house I changed her thermostat because she didn't like the one she bought a couple of months ago. I carried 2 twin headboards, foot boards, and side rails up to my niece's rooms. Then put them together. (another gift to my sister from her mother in law). Then I managed to wrestle a 7 drawer dresser up the stairs by myself. I also had to change the flushing mechanism in the toilet in my niece's bathroom. Finally I managed to leave and head home but for some reason my niece's were in the truck with me. So there goes my nap before the greasy skillett starts.

Sorry to hear your FIL is so sick with chemo! "Funny" how 1 person can get through chemo with almost no problem at all & the next it will put nearly on their death bed. After all these years it seems there should be a better way! :-? Have a GREAT time at the hotel! I hope your cough gets better!!
