I loved What´s This?, too...Kandice, too....I remember when the movie came out....I was 12-years-old.....and wanted to go watch this movie in the theaters...I dont remember why....but I never made it......and have not seen this movie until yesterday.....our visit to Disneyland Paris sparked my interesst in this movie again.....since Jack and Sally were there to be met by the visitors and Kandice was in awe....Jack even knew German...so that was good for Kandi...anyhow...they played This Is Halloween there all the time....and all I could think was.......Awesome song....I wish I knew the name of it so I could google it.....lol

Belated Saturday hello ... Up early this morning to take my car in for service, then back here decluttering and boxing things up to take to the Salvation Army store, then out to lunch, then back here for more decluttering. I'm about beat, and I'll be stiff and sore for a couple days, but we've reclaimed a little space and gotten rid of a bunch of things we weren't using. It's been a long time coming, and this was only the start! But the results are encouraging.

Must remember to turn the clocks back tonight. I can really use the extra hour of ZZZZZZs!

Good evening, everyone! How are you all!? I'm not bad. It's been a busy week/start to my weekend, but just thankful for my family and that I have them!

It your friends with me on Facebook, you would have saw the post about my dad yesterday. He hasn't been feeling very well for 3 days or so. He had flu like symptoms, just no fever and that is what EA had, so he went to the doctor. They thought he either had an appendicitis or diverticulitis. Well, that's not even close to what it was. He has a blood clot in the lining of his intestines. It was very scary for him and us at first - this is his 3rd blood clot - so he obviously has some type of issue. The doctors did a lot of clotting blood work to see. My mom and I both have a clotting deficieny. We both have had a blood clot before too, so they don't know where I get my deficieny from. I guess we soon wiill. The doctor flat out told him he could have died if he waited much longer. I knew that myself, but didn't want to tell my dad that.

Anyway, they told my dad yesterday, they were putting him on Heparin through his IV, which is a drip and he would be there for 3 to 5 days and if it didn't take care of the clot, he would need surgery. With his symptoms and such, he is already responding well and the doctor send he shouldn't need surgery, thank goodness!

Thank you all for your continued prayers as, I've been dealing with this, plus EA being sick this week - I know some of you too read about my uncle in the prayer section on the boards. We find out in a week and half if his tumors are cancerous. Please continue to prayer his tumors are non-cancerous.

What God doesn't give you...wheew!

Well, hope you're all having a great weekend! Don't forget to turn your clocks back tonight. I will be working an extra hour. God Bless and enjoy those Christmas movies. I know I am! cheesy

Praying for your whole family Sugar.

Also, because I think Britt wanted to see...here is the pic of hubs and I from Halloween 2010 as Lt. Dangle and Dep. Johnson from Reno 911!

Reno 911 is one of my favorite shows, I wish it was still on regularly. It was hilarious.

Hey everyone. Just stop by real quick. I've got one sick little girl. Her temp has up and down all day. Temp around 6 was 103.3 F. It was back down, but she was having the chills again.

Hope this doesn't last too long for her. She is miserable. Off to take care of her. Talk to you guys tomorrow!

My thoughts are with all of you.

Happy November 1st everyone! Wow... Halloween was a blast! We had so many kids at the house, that we went thru 30 pounds of candy in 3 hours.

Because of Sandy, I had taken down all my Halloween decorations to keep them safe from the storm, so yesterday I left work early, drove home and spent 6 hours putting all the decorations back up again. A lot of work, but it was worth it for us just to see all the smiles, hear the laughter and see the excitement in the kids and the parents faces, it was wonderful...

Today is also my sons birthday, (he turns 20 today), I can't believe it, I still have a hard time thinking about and wondering where did all the years go??? This is my busy time of year with Halloween, and then my sons birthday, my daughters birthday and my birthday; all in November, then Thanksgiving and Christmas... Whew, by the time January rolls around, I'm ready to hibernate in front of the fireplace for the rest of the winter, lol...

We made it thru the storm ok with only losing power for about a day and a small leak at the rear of the house. Some of my neighbors weren't so lucky, they got hit pretty hard and sustained alot of water and wind damage to their homes. I hope everyone on the East Coast has made it thru the storm ok, and my prayers and thoughts are with everyone that had damage, lost power or even worse...

Happy Birthday to your son! I'm glad you made it through the storm all right. That was so nice of you to redecorate for Halloween ~ I'm sure it was greatly appreciated by all!

Is anyone else feeling extra giddy today??? It's that November 1st giddiness that I cannot shake and don't want to! If I don't get any of my Christmas decorations out today, I will at least put all my regular coffee mugs away and bring out the Christmas ones!!!

Time to do the happy dance!!! Please join me in dancing!!!

Good evening, MMC!

I hope this finds everyone doing well!

I am almost three days behind in posts and I haven't the time to catch up tonight. My new modem already broke so I am using someone else's laptop at the moment. I already have a new modem on the way, but it won't get here until later next week, so I won't be around much.

Bo is not doing good ~ please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Have a MERRY night!

Yay!! It's Saturday night and time change is tomorrow!!! I ran a bunch of errands today and, along with going to the Sprint store to get more screen protectors (and a new carrying case--thank you $40.40 :-? for kicking my fanny) and BB&B to get a bridal shower gift, I bought the Christmas CDs of Francesca Battistelli and Jeremy Camp at LifeWay. I also picked up a pair of shoes at Payless that I special ordered last month. They are black wedges and super cute.

Last, I went to Hallmark and, what I thought was going to be a trip to buy ornaments for my sisters, ended up buying an ornament/house decoration for my parents! Go figure! ;-)

Anyway, I'm uploading the CDs to my iTunes CD collection and watching (muted) the Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas preview weekend of movies. Having this channel on, these CDs on, on this site......REALLY has me wanting to take out my Christmas stuff and start decorating. We'll see. :-D
