Valerie sounds sick. I bet I know what she is drinking to help get rid of it.

Oh here we go with the Glitter candles again. Drink up!!!!

I hate to tell them but those aren't real Jewels.

Hey look it's the mercury glass ornaments that go through a battery a day. I should buy stock in energizer.

Glitter drink up!!!!

Who wants glitter on their gingerbread cookie?

All of this Mercury glass stuff is selling out. So guess what we are going to see a lot of during Christmas in July?

Well that's it. No more Valerie in 2012. I wouldn't be surprised to hear about a wine shortage in a couple of days.

Made you are too much I love it!!! Makes me giggle even tho I am not watching it I can see it!!!

Hello everyone!

Hope your week passed well. I was stressed about this week because I had two group presentations, which were part of my assessment, and an essay to handle in. Well, the group presentations went better than I had expected. ^^ I only need to submit my essay tomorrow and then it will be done! I'll start revising for my exams. :] We got a Christmas tree arrived at the university campus earlier today. Here is the picture:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/13/20121129141914.jpg/ It was put up and the lights were put up as well. Few girls started decorating it but then they changed their mind about decorations so they will bring new ones tomorrow. Until then, the tree is left to stay at the campus just with the topper and the lights.

As for weather, I can actually smell the winter in the air. There's no rain here for a whole week and it's pretty chilly outside. It was -3 today and absolutely clear! Lovely! Only a bit of snow is needed and then it will be perfect weather! ^^

I just love when I wake up in the morning and Wayne already has all the lights turned on our Christmas tree on and the rest of the Christmas lights on in the house. It's like waking up to a Christmas Wonderland. He has done this for me every year if he wakes up before me, (I think he enjoys it too ). I kind of have a "Griswold" look inside my house with all the strings of lights everywhere. Wayne is the one who set the tree up this year and decorated it, he did a great job!
that is so sweet! What a blessed lady you are

Christmasstar, you and I have the same exact Calendar. I have had that since I was a teenager and this year I cannot find the mouse for it! I know I will come across it but it will make me sad if it's lost for good. I will keep searching!
hope you find the little critter!
I got those when my kids were little and the one for me I got a couple of years ago at a thrift store. We love the challenge of filling them up every year.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Last night we worked on checking the bulbs for our pole lights that are going up down main street on Saturday. It felt Christmassy to do stuff like that.

Tonight is our company Christmas party. Since there are so many guys in the plant, we usually have a big dinner for them in the breakrom & the boss hands out their bonus checks. Then we have an office party at a restaurant later. This year, we are taking the whole plant and their families to a local bowling alley/game room/laser tag/batting cage/mini-golf place. It shoul be alot of fun!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
that sounds like a great evening, have fun! I do not know if they do anything for Christmas where I work, will have to ask.

LOVE the graphic! I laughed so hard! I can hardly wait for the results! Good luck!

house delivered in one piece! Tomorrow night I find out if I won anything this year.
I am actually working a day shift tomorrow, what a nice change. I will be done with my second job on the 16th and while I enjoyed it I will be glad it is finished.
Now I am going to read for awhile knowing I can sleep in tomorrow if I want to .

I used to love the Cotillion pictures in the newspapers. Obviously, I never attended one! LOL!

Good a.m. My brothers & sistas from another mother!!! how's it? got another 3 days to go till a day off & i'm trying as hard as i can to get there.

this is only the 2nd consecutive year we have had our open house @ the shop & i sure hope it's worth it. it's unreal @ the amount of work that goes into that stuff. in addition to the open house we have Cotillion this weekend. a "select group" of high schoolers that have this big dance in the winter & spring. we do their flowers & guess what? it's the day of open house, yucko! there will be over time tomorrow night, no doubt.

i've done very little shopping for Christmas. waiting on time & funds ya' know. all my kids asked for clothes so it's now a matter of finding their sizes which can be very difficult ever.

hope everyone has a wonderful day w/ lots of hugs & smiles!

I am not surprised he did a great job. When you do something like that for the love of your life, it always turns out great, especially in the eyes of the beholder!

I knew there was something I forgot. Darn it. I wanted to watch the SNL special!

Good morning everyone!

This morning was a little strange. It appears that I forgot to set my alarm. My internal clock usually wakes me up around just after 7 AM on weekdays anyway. However, this morning, I didn't vault out of bed until about 8:05. Funny, isn't it? Also, I am usually at work by 7:45, so I didn't arrive at work until about 8:30. Oh well! I'll just have to stay a bit later.

Yesterday was quiet. No Christmas movies, but we did watch the Saturday Night Live Christmas Special. Although we had seen most of the skits before, it provided us with plenty of laughs!

Weather-wise, the snow is falling in Ottawa. It looks pretty. As 'Star said, however, the temperatures should rise this weekend and the snow will be gone as of Monday. We're supposed to hit double digits on Tuesday. I don't like that!

Well, we're nearing a day and a half until the first weekend of December. Enjoy the rest of your Thursday, everyone. Merry Christmas!

Winds are supposed to be high here in northern California through the weekend, with gusts to 50 mph. I don't mind breezy weather, but I hate high winds! I have radiation tomorrow and three days next week. Then I will be done!!! Yeah!!! TTYL, y'all.
