Good morning everyone!
We're nearing lunch hour of the final day of the workweek. And, of course, that count is getting smaller. Only 25 more days until we are gathered around our wonderful Christmas Trees with our families and loved ones, cherishing the joy we've been counting down to all year. Soon, the calendar will flip to December truly making the date that much closer.
Last night, I had to volunteer coach, as I do most Thursday nights. It was a good time. Lots of fun. Unfortunately, my team was unable to win. We lost by a point, but they've improved a lot over the past few weeks. They're on their way! Otherwise, yesterday, I did not do a whole lot.
The highlight had to be the fact that I forgot my keys at work. I didn't notice it until I arrived home, either. Good timing. So, I was forced to walk to Kim's work to borrow her keys. The only real unfortunate part about this was that it was about -14c with the windchill. Brrr! And I haven't quite yet grown accustomed to the windchill just yet. Oh well... It was still a nice walk.
As of right now, I'm not sure of tonight's happenings. I am going to the gym. Then, Kim and I may arrange something. We've discussed going to see Lincoln at the theatres, but we'll see. A 2 1/2 hour movie may be a little much for me. Tomorrow night, Kim has her work Christmas party. I plan to attend that with her. It should be a good time. Another friend asked me to attend a Movember Gala with him at about 10 PM, too. I may see if I can attend both...
Of course, there will be some Christmas shopping this weekend, too! It should be a wonderful experience, although I am sure that I will be frustrated with all the traffic. Oh well. 'Tis the Season... and it will be wonderful to see everything alive with Christmas Spirit throughout Ottawa.
I hope you've enjoyed your Friday thus far. We're on our way to reaching the first date and weekend of December. Merry Christmas!
