Just wanted to share a picture or two of our favorite café in town. My girlfriend and I just went there, and they had all of their beautiful Christmas decorations out. Their village is amazing!

Merry Morning everyone. I just wanted to pop in a quick hello. I've been really busy lately aswell as fighting of a cold. I kinda wish christmas would slow down a little, it feels like it's all happening to fast! Anyway , I am pretty much finished with shopping apart from a couple stocking fillers , wrapping paper and the food shop.
I hope all your preparations are going to plan and you are enjoying the festivities!
Merry Merry Christmas....![]()
CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #30
Good Morning, Whispering Wednesday Wonders.
(Or is that Shispering Wednesday Wonders?)
Hey!
Can it be the 30th day of Christmas Season 2012 already?
No! Say it ain't so!
.....But yet, it is.
Then, to add to the incredibility, there's this:
Days to Christmas Day: 13 (UNDER TWO WEEKS, now!)
Heavens to Betsy!
A bit cooler yesterday, with downright cold weather (back down into the 30's) just around the corner.
None of the frozen wet stuff in the forecast, however.
We stand at 47 degrees here, currently.
OK!
Next-to-the-last 'Pines open house before Christmas.
Carl knows how close Christmas is and he's pulling out all the stops with the decor, food and entertainment to make this a memorable Christmas Season at our resort Inn of choice.
Come join our lovable, crazy camel for rollicking fun in the proper, old-fashioned festive holiday style!
And say! From now until Christmas, the first TWO red and green frosted fired twinkies (yes, they're safe!) are complimentary along with all the tea (or coffee, if you must) one can drink.
See you there!
(Right, Holiday?)
Have a simply Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!!
It's 12:12 pm on 12/12/12...everyone make a wish!!
:notice:
I've waited for a week to make that post LOL!Just happened to look up at the clock in the corner of my computer screen right at 12:12. I kept looking at it until it changed to 12:13.
Sounds heavenly---Christmas movies and music all day, with nothing better to do!
No, brent, believe it or not ... my parents made fruitcakes (from an old family recipe) that friends and neighbors BEGGED for.
that is great news!Good morning everyone!
I was a little late for work yesterday -thanks to my doctor's appointment - and didn't have time to check in. Sorry! It seems as if most of you are doing well, however. Best of luck to those others that are trying to get back on track.
In regards to my doctor's appointment, I have good news. Apparently, I was reading into my ultrasound doctor's monotone voice and facial expressions too much - those crazy Russians! My doctor looked at my scans and I do not require surgery. In fact, I didn't even tear my meniscus. I may have had a slight (Grade 1) tear in my LCL, but it has recovered and barely showed on the ultrasound. With that said, I only require Active Release Therapy in hopes to rid myself of this nasty patellar tendonitis.
Two unfortunate things about ART - I'm not covered... It should be about $250 total. I just hope it works! And, it will more than likely be the most excruciating pain I will ever feel. I have a friend that did it a couple months ago and they basically cut off all the circulation to the injured area and then grind out the scar tissue/inflammation. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Still, as long as it works, it will be very much worth it once complete.
Kim and I watched Elf last night. We almost watched it last week, but we were happy to delay it until last night. It still makes both of us laugh. It is always a fantastic film! I think I will have to bring it home to watch during my time in Sault Ste. Marie, too. There are a couple classics I have to watch at least twice during the year.
Also, we might be joining Kim's best friend and her boyfriend on a Christmas light expedition this evening. I'm excited! I'll be sure to take photos. Apparently there are a few upper class neighbourhoods around Ottawa/Orleans that have beautiful displays. I haven't experienced it yet, and I look forward to sharing the photos on the Blossoms thread!
Have a great Wednesday everyone! Only one more 'Pines Day before Christmas! How can that be? Carl continues to go all out. The Christmas decorations are beautiful and the food is delicious. The camel knows how to do it! But, how come nobody has tried the fruit cake?!Hope all is well with you all. Keep enjoying the Christmas Season. Merry Christmas!
awesome! Thanks for the update, will continue to pray for full healing. Thanks for the prayers and well-wishes, everyone! Mrs. Hilda is at home and feeling not too bad!
I think it makes them feel superior, as if they need help with that! LOLI had taken this picture of my cat, Charlie, napping yesterday in the little Christmas village I have on my desk. I see that Christmasstar's cat loves playing Catzilla too!!!

I've waited for a week to make that post LOL!
Your parents must have had a magical recipe!
My theory is: They're not true Christmas cookies unless Christmas music is playing while you're mixing them and baking them. You're doing it exactly right! I haven't tried adding dancing to the recipe.
Fantastic idea! Got to get that one started soon. I bet I have more pictures of my cats getting into my Christmas things. I bet Simon's Cat has really jumped all over your tree! :wink:We need to start a Catzilla thread for photos of cats among the Christmas decorations! We could start a new Internet meme!
I agree! I love Michael Buble!!! Now my granddaughter runs around saying his name and says, "I love Michael Buble"! I think she just loves trying to say "Buble". Very cute to hear a 3 year old pronounce his name!I loved Michael Buble's special. I think he gets better and better.
