Xmas, thinking of you. hope your Christmas spirit comes back full force today and for the rest of the season!

I do know how you feel, though. We don't have any Christmas decorations up, and our house is almost empty. I miss my tree, Christmas village. I don't even have my Christmas movies out anymore. They are all packed up. I'm not doing any of the usual baking, Christmas cards, etc.

So, there are days that make me sad too. I think it must be normal even for Christmas fanatics like us

WOW! Good for you!! I wish I had all my wrapping done. The only present that is wrapped is the one they wrapped in the store for me.

Merry Morning everyone. I just wanted to pop in a quick hello. I've been really busy lately aswell as fighting of a cold. I kinda wish christmas would slow down a little, it feels like it's all happening to fast! Anyway , I am pretty much finished with shopping apart from a couple stocking fillers , wrapping paper and the food shop.

I hope all your preparations are going to plan and you are enjoying the festivities!

I agree!! At 1st it seemed so nice that Thanksgiving was early & we had some extra time between the holidays. Now it is just FLYING like we never had the extra time!!! Love it al though!!!

Good morning everyone!

I was a little late for work yesterday -thanks to my doctor's appointment - and didn't have time to check in. Sorry! It seems as if most of you are doing well, however. Best of luck to those others that are trying to get back on track.

In regards to my doctor's appointment, I have good news. Apparently, I was reading into my ultrasound doctor's monotone voice and facial expressions too much - those crazy Russians! My doctor looked at my scans and I do not require surgery. In fact, I didn't even tear my meniscus. I may have had a slight (Grade 1) tear in my LCL, but it has recovered and barely showed on the ultrasound. With that said, I only require Active Release Therapy in hopes to rid myself of this nasty patellar tendonitis.

Two unfortunate things about ART - I'm not covered... It should be about $250 total. I just hope it works! And, it will more than likely be the most excruciating pain I will ever feel. I have a friend that did it a couple months ago and they basically cut off all the circulation to the injured area and then grind out the scar tissue/inflammation. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it? Still, as long as it works, it will be very much worth it once complete.

Kim and I watched Elf last night. We almost watched it last week, but we were happy to delay it until last night. It still makes both of us laugh. It is always a fantastic film! I think I will have to bring it home to watch during my time in Sault Ste. Marie, too. There are a couple classics I have to watch at least twice during the year.

Also, we might be joining Kim's best friend and her boyfriend on a Christmas light expedition this evening. I'm excited! I'll be sure to take photos. Apparently there are a few upper class neighbourhoods around Ottawa/Orleans that have beautiful displays. I haven't experienced it yet, and I look forward to sharing the photos on the Blossoms thread!

Have a great Wednesday everyone! Only one more 'Pines Day before Christmas! How can that be? Carl continues to go all out. The Christmas decorations are beautiful and the food is delicious. The camel knows how to do it! But, how come nobody has tried the fruit cake?! Hope all is well with you all. Keep enjoying the Christmas Season. Merry Christmas!

I think it makes them feel superior, as if they need help with that! LOL

My theory is: They're not true Christmas cookies unless Christmas music is playing while you're mixing them and baking them. You're doing it exactly right! I haven't tried adding dancing to the recipe.

Dancing is a must while baking with Christmas music! It makes the cookies extra happy with flavor!

We need to start a Catzilla thread for photos of cats among the Christmas decorations! We could start a new Internet meme!

I agree! I love Michael Buble!!! Now my granddaughter runs around saying his name and says, "I love Michael Buble"! I think she just loves trying to say "Buble". Very cute to hear a 3 year old pronounce his name!

I am very addicted to this song of his and surprised I haven't broke the CD playing it over and over. I know it's Mariah Carey's song but I love his version of it!!!

We took my granddaughter to the mall today. She went to visit Santa and as we walked away Santa was asking one of the employees there about someone. She snapped back at him, in a jokingly manner, and said, "You're so nosey"! I had to laugh because of Santa being nosey??? Does he really need to ask anything about anybody because he already,

"Sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake"!

They were just cutting up with each other but I thought it was funny to tell Santa he is nosey!
