getting ready for leaving to the doctor....this sore throat just won´t get better....so the doctor needs to check it!!!

Morning all! busy day getting the house back to normal! Just before xmas the girls painted some xmassy pictures that i put on a notice board that I have up in my kitchen, they can stay there, makes me smile everytime I look at them hehe!!

Hello everyone! sorry I have been MIA for so long. there's been lots going on & just could not stop by @ all.
Our house is very somber w/out all the Christmas decor around. Big bummer!
here we are in January...big sigh!!! where did it go, that beautiful glorious month of December? I want it back so badly.

Good Morning, Fearless Friends of Festive Fetes.
Isn't it great to be alive to countdown once again? This time to Christmas Season 2013.
And just how far off are we?
Well, it's early on in the count, of course.
But our first Milestone is not as far off as you might think:
Days to the Season: 314
Days to Christmas Day: 356
Hey! Hey! Hey!
Two weeks from today!
Milestone #1 -- the 300-Day Window to the Season.
(Just think. Very soon we will be down into the 200's to the Season already.
Zounds!)
Coolish and damp weather has persisted here for several days now.
Won't be much, if any, better today.
We are at a clammy 41 degrees here at this hour.
Have a Thoroughly Thrilling First Thursday of the new year, Folks!

Sadness indeed.
Today marks the start of Christmas decoration removal at the Crown household.
Hard to do, but as my coffee-saturated Mystery Twin pointed out, to not do it would de-specialize the Season.
And to look forward to next Season's decorating, this Season's must depart!
(Carefully, and lovingly packed away of course!)
But I think I will leave our door wreaths up a few more days. Keep a bit of the cheer going a bit longer.

I am up early to get some work done. I was up most of the night as my mom was really sick. She had stomach pains and a burning sensation in her stomach all day/night long to the point where it made her sick. Not sure if it is related to her sickness or not, but we're hoping a fluke. Time will tell, but she still has the pains now. Not the best way to start off 2013 so please keep her in your prayers.
It's going to be a long day! I am exhausted so I think I am going to have to take a nap soon. Plus I have lots of work to do and a lot to prepare for starting back at school soon.

We started undoing the winter wonderland yesterday. We will work on it until the end of the weekend. I am hoping the snow melts in the next day or so ... That way I can get outside and start removing some of the decorations or at least most of them. Unsure when I will make it to the roof!
