Good Morning, my Wonderful Weary Wandering Weekend Wassail Wanters.

Well!
Enough with the contrived alliterative beginings.

On to something much more straightforward:
Days to the Season: 291
Days to Christmas Day: 333
It is now under 2 1/2 weeks to our next Milestone, the 1/4 Season mark, second milepost on our journey to Christmas Season 2013.
(They say half the fun is getting there. Really applies here, doesn't it?)

ICE!!
Oh yes, there's ice.
Lots of sleet (with some snow) fell yesterday afternoon/evening and our temps remained well below freezing all day.
(I saw it coming and got all my outside activities done in the morning!)
Today, we are starting at 29 degrees, with the promise of sun and mid-40's for highs.
Hopefully the slick conditions will be gone by noon.

OK.
You have a Sensational Slip and Slide Saturday, Friends.
<< More alliteration, Crown? >>
(Just couldn't resist.)

Have a Wonderous Weekend!

I LOVE to laugh and have fun. I do it more for ME!!! But I want them to love school so much!

I wish you had been my teacher in first grade...the first time I was in first grade....I wouldnt have been jerked up by the arm and put in front of the class because I did not know the answer then.....That definitely left some impressions.....:-(

CM3, your blogs are great, you should be proud of what you have written. You paint a very clear picture of what you are trying to convey, especially the one where you talk about your childhood preparing for Christmas with Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song" on and I believe you were helping make cookies. You are so clear in your writing. Be proud!!!

Thank you. I am proud to have had the wonderful parents I had and also proud to have had my siblings of which my sister is the last one left. My brothers were great guys and always protective of their "baby" sister. Christmas was different in those days when I was a child and my memories were formed by my family......I feel it is up to me to keep their memory alive....xo

I think Hubby will be home soon and we will go out for dinner. TTYT. CM3, expect a PM from me by tomorrow. Also, I LOVE your blogs; and you and others have inspired me to venture forth!

Thank you and WONDERFUL!!! Can't wait to read !!! xo

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've been cooking away here at Bernie's store this morning, and breakfast is on the table. Y'all come on!

The wedding was very nice last night. I hope to get a picture I can post later.

I'll be here till 5pm, then I have a dinner for my former boss who was promoted up and out of our office.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good evening,

Well, today was the last day of LC's preschool, they did have a graduation for the ones who are heading up to kindergarten next year. LC is just devastated, he was crying saying it was the worst day of his life. He just loves his teachers there, and there was lots of tears all around today at the ceremony. He starts a new place Monday, and has already said he is not going, this is going to be very tough. Almost everyone went to Chuck E. Cheese for a graduation party, it was a lot better there, we all had fun unwinding there. Back to work in the morning, why is it that I never want to go?

I hope you all have a great night, talk to you tomorrow.

I was like that at the hospital when I worked there....I did NOT want to go....Used to have crying fits when it was time to get ready.....I hope a really great job will still come along for you....xo

Well, we were supposed to get two to three inches of ice last night, but the temps never got low enough. I'm not complaining, ice isn't my favorite!

This weekend, going to do some running around, but it should be fun. Tomorrow, I'm going with my BIL to Little Rock for a quick trip. Wife is feeling under the weather, so she is going to stay home and relax. That will be my plan for Sunday.

As for tonight, I'm about to head to bed and watch tv. Hope everyone had a great day!

Hope your wife feels better, Coach, and that your weekend is great !

I hope monday goes smoothly for you!! Are any of the other kids going to be moving to the same school?

Glad to hear that you didn't get the ice. Have fun with your BIL and I hope the wife is feeling better this morning. Oh and don't forget the 24 hours of Daytona is this weekend when you kick back to relax tonight.

Good Morning MMC!!! It's another cold one here in central Indy. We are going on 148 hours below freezing right now. Brrr. It looks like tomorrow we aer going to get a shot of warm air but we may see some freezing rain before it gets here. Today I have some errands to run and I should probably head out before the stores get to busy. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Christmasstar for the reminder of what matters in life. I have been dealing with January blahs like I do every year. The winter after the Holidays is always depressing to me. I do need to be thankful to be alive and well. Counting my blessings! :cold:

Well, so the wifey gets sick....and I wake up this morning feeling awful! My throat burns soooooooo bad. But there is a miracle drug called coffee....and it always helps!

24 hours of Daytona, Made? Yes! I need to get the schedule of everything that is coming up. One of my favorite races is the ARCA race that week. it always seems to have an exciting finish!

Well, I'm going to rest for a while. I've got to decide if I'm going to go with my BIL or not, so I'm just going to lay here for the next couple of hours. See ya later!

Contrived alliterations or not, I love them!!! They always make me smile! Thanks, Crown. By the way, our spelling list this past week were words with the ou, ow diphthongs. I thought of you when I called out "crown" and used it in a sentence: Crown does the Christmas Countdown. Of course I had to explain it to the kids, but we were on a Christmas theme for Rudolph Day anyway!

You are so right, CM3. We have to be the torch bearers.
