Hope Wifey feels better and you don't get what she has. There are some nasty things going around!

Well, we were supposed to get two to three inches of ice last night, but the temps never got low enough. I'm not complaining, ice isn't my favorite!

This weekend, going to do some running around, but it should be fun. Tomorrow, I'm going with my BIL to Little Rock for a quick trip. Wife is feeling under the weather, so she is going to stay home and relax. That will be my plan for Sunday.

As for tonight, I'm about to head to bed and watch tv. Hope everyone had a great day!

To do that, I would have graduated college when I was about 10 years old! LOL!!!

I wish you had been my teacher in first grade...the first time I was in first grade....I wouldnt have been jerked up by the arm and put in front of the class because I did not know the answer then.....That definitely left some impressions.....:-(

Frostyman, we all need to be reminded sometimes. Normally, I get the blahs during the summer because that is the season I like the least. But then I think of that road we are all traveling to "the Season," and I get just the jumpstart I need. Take care.

Thanks Christmasstar for the reminder of what matters in life. I have been dealing with January blahs like I do every year. The winter after the Holidays is always depressing to me. I do need to be thankful to be alive and well. Counting my blessings! :cold:

Take care, Coach!

Well, so the wifey gets sick....and I wake up this morning feeling awful! My throat burns soooooooo bad. But there is a miracle drug called coffee....and it always helps!

24 hours of Daytona, Made? Yes! I need to get the schedule of everything that is coming up. One of my favorite races is the ARCA race that week. it always seems to have an exciting finish!

Well, I'm going to rest for a while. I've got to decide if I'm going to go with my BIL or not, so I'm just going to lay here for the next couple of hours. See ya later!

Hubby just came in from his shop to fix breakfast. He was working on his car for the Pinewood Derby today. He helped set up the tracks last night at the Elks Lodge and spent some time practicing with his car. He then came home to do some more work on it because it was running too slowly. I hope he beats Tinkerbell again this year. She beat him once and he beat her once. Then he and one of his friends raced in a close race. For lunch, we will help serve the kids hotdogs, all different kinds of salads (macaroni, potato, etc.), chips and dips, and desserts. Our parents are great. When everything is done, they all pitch in and get everything cleaned up in record time. It is really a joy to sponsor such a group.

This was posted on my facebook: I don't want to brag or make someone jealous, but...I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school.

Breakfast was soooo good this morning: applewood bacon, eggs, O'Brien potatoes, English muffins with Christmas in a Jar Sugarplum Jam. Triple yummo!!!
