I think Clancy will be okay. Her breath has been kind of funky lately, sort of like Wishy's and I just want to make SURE she is okay. I am so glad Adrian is back home........I can rest easier now.......((((Hugs)))) to you, Adrian and Harlowe Jean xo
Maybe I can get a good night's sleep and not worry about every little noise
:New York city is no more than an hour away from me. Not a bad ride. My daughter and her friends just drove in this past weekend and walked around Times Square. Its a lot of fun.
Thanks to everyone that sent get well wishes for my daughter, looks like she will be heading back to school tomorrow.
Goodnight everyone!
Good Tuesday morning mmc! We are under a wind advisory today, should be cloudy and mild..sounds good I guess. We may get a shower or two. Not much to report here except I am having a rather bad case of PCB's I never get them in march usually not even in Feb,but this year has been weird. BTW we go to Utah in 2 weeks..we are going to fly and I am scared to take to babies, but we really have no choice. I hope they don't cry the whole flight!!! We were going to drive but 30 hours in a car with 2 infants I would imagine would be pure hell. But anyways we found a dog sitter who we really trust and who the dogs feel comfy with,so she will stay at our house.. Other than that not much going on. I hear the southeast Mts may get more snow tonight and tomorrow. I love hearing about march snows in the south..so rare nowadays! Have a great day everyone!
I hope you guys stay safe, warm and off the roads! Please be careful with that ice, snow is one thing, but that ice... ugggh, it's not good; I don't want to see you falling again.Hope Clancy is ok, and that her appointment goes well!! xo
We are expecting 4-8 inches, ice, possible power outages, etc. Just depends what news outlet you read...frustrating...
Adrian just got home from Nebraska, and was calling me often to check on MN & WI roads. Glad he's home safe and that w/ the exception of shoveling, we don't have to worry too much about it.
Stay safe out there, guys!!
:we watched "The Bible" last night. I thought it was very good. did anyone else here watch it? if so, what did you think?
Coach- What did you think of the race yesterday? I think goodyear needs to bring some softer tires. At least JR managed to pull off a 5th place finish. So 2 top 5's to start the season. Not Bad.
Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
It's been a cold weekend, and it's still cold today, but we should be in the low 70's by next weekend. I get to ride in the Rattlesnake and Wildlife Festival parade this Saturday, representing the City of Bellville. That's always fun. None of the council members ever want to join me, so Bernie rides with me, since he's Bellville's most famous resident. My son usually rides, too, but he's working at the festival this year.
Hope Clancy is ok, and that her appointment goes well!! xo

I have been glued to the TV and internet watching the tracking and the predictions of snow amounts for this impending storm/ Noreaster that is supposed to form as it nears the East coast. Seems for me/ my location, As things stand at this very present moment in time, I'm right on the line from getting anywhere's from 8"-18" of wet heavy snow starting late tonight as rain and then turning all to snow.
I'm holding my breath and not counting my chickens until they hatch, because as you all know, I've been wanting a snow storm all winter long and now hopefully we may, and I emphasize may, finally get one. I'm going to have to get home at a good time today and get the snow blower all ready in the garage and get some gas in the gas can. I got the boys at home today, bringing some extra wood around the house to place it on the front proch, for the fireplace.laying:
This could possibly be one of those really heavy, wet/ slushy snow events.... I'm all excited, I'm starting to feel like a little kid on Christmas eve right now, but I'm trying real hard not to get my hopes up too soon, because this storm is to hard to tell exactly who's going to get what; 50 miles in either direction could mean the difference in getting all rain vs. getting 24" of snow.... Snow baby snow!
We liked it....but I still can't wait for The 10 Commandments
Good evening,
Still feeling crappy, I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow to get this cough checked out. I have a ton of errands to do also, including picking up "Wreck It Ralph" on DVD, I can honestly say that was the best movie I saw in 2012. I can't wait to add it to our collection.
I hope everyone had a great day, I am making pot roast for dinner tomorrow night, you are all welcome to come for dinner and a movie.
Good night everyone!
we set up a forcefield around here so that it will not head up, we have enough snow now to last until the end of June!I hope you guys stay safe, warm and off the roads! Please be careful with that ice, snow is one thing, but that ice... ugggh, it's not good; I don't want to see you falling again.

traveling with kids is fun, I usually loved it! Check online for advice about flying with the little ones, it has been awhile since mine were that size. One thing I do know is have them drinking a bottle or nursing when the plane takes off and lands, helps to keep thier ears from popingGood Tuesday morning mmc! My grandma had a set of Childcraft books and I loved them! She also had World Books that I enjoyed reading in. Kind of sad...the Internet has made some of those types of books go the way of the buffalo.
I got a globe one year, too. But the best were those encyclopedias and they came right at the start of school the year before I started. So I had a lot of time for reading! The thing about Childcraft were the books were geared to children. I think I left some in my classroom. If I recall, didn't they have a book on crafts, too? I think I will check those out and make sure that if the new teacher does not want them, she lets me know.
