I want to go to sleep but I'm waiting for my daughter to come home from her prom. I have such a hard time staying awake lately, must be getting old. I hope everyone has a good night!
Awwww.. I know what you mean.....I myself have a hard time sleeping.....Hope your baby gets home soon and that you can sleep peacefully then xo
Good evening everyone! THe weekend has arrived! We have no plans this weekend,but next sat we are flying out to Utah to see our home we are renting in June. We went out to eat tonight and got a sitter,its always nice to have a QUIET dinner after a hard week at work! I was tempted to go skiing this weekend,but I really need to be home. The snow resorts in the southeast and Mid atlantic are beginning to close one by one. The ones in Wv are going to be open until March 31st I think. This year started off so slow in fact the snow resorts (with the exception of Sandy) did not even get natural snow until late Dec. Anyways I agree with Coach...Lets get spring underway to we can get back to Fall/Winter!lol have a good weekend ppl!

First ultrasound today and found out that we are at 12 weeks....
Whoa, whoa, whoa......12 weeks? We jsut found out 5 weeks ago....so during Christmas....Wifey conceived a little one????? Do what? As a matter of fact, we think the baby might have been conceived during the week of Christmas...really close to Christmas (but that's enough info, you don't want to peek that closely).....
Sweet. A Christmas baby....what a gift.
As they are doing the ultrasound....what do we see? Here goes the those few great moments.....
Ballcoach is sitting there taking video on his iphone, when he realizes that he and wifey want some pictures too....so he changes to camera mode....takes a couple of pictures...and as he looks at his iphone....he spreads his eyes and squints....to make sure he sees what he think he sees....realizes there is a much larger screen he can look at...hears his wife sob....immediately switches his eyes to the big screen...and the nurse goes uhoh....Ballcoach says with a raised voice....is that what I think it is? is that what I think it is? Wifey goes please don't tell him...please....and the nurse says it looks like a
boy!!!!!!!!
but she goes on to say I can't officially say that right now...ballcoach begs and pleads....please tell me I can go buy a glove...give me a breadcrumb....and she says I can't....
But I know what I saw....so does Wifey...and so does nurse....
and I just finished another milestone day in my life...
and I feel I don't deserve to be so happy....to have all these blessings....
and as I look at these pictures here tonight....the video of the baby moving...hearing the heartbeat...I realize something...almost profound....
My heart will never be in my body again....my heart will always be this child...

but be carefull with the gender still......my sis in law´s sister was pregnant and gave birth in October 2004...when the baby came out the nurse asked her....so how will You call the baby.....so she said "Justin".....the nurse stared at her saying...."You mean Justine, right".....then she said...no....Justin....I can´t call my boy Justine...."....then the nurse said...."true...but it´s a babygirl"........her jaw dropped.....ever since week 16 or 20 she knew she had a boy....only for it to be a girl in the end

Good morning mmc! I could not sleep well tonight so I got up and read and then got online. Not much on tv that is for sure! I think I will cook a huge breakfast then go back to bed! I am in the mood for French Toast and turkey bacon! Any one up this early come on over! Have a great morning everyone!
@ballcoach-congrats on the sonogram I know the feeling very well. you are just getting to the good part...after 12 weeks she will start feeling better and the baby will start to move,for me it was the best time in the pregnancy. And are you really surprised yall conceived over the holidays!!lol I had a giggle with that just because it's 5 am and I am feeling loopy. But congrats on the boy either way....the next few months are going to fly by to hold on to your seat!!

Our last cold day is (supposedly) behind us and we should be in for an extended warm spell for the weekend and next week, with highs regularly in the 60's and maybe even a 70 degree reading or two.
(Believe me, I'm ready!)
We are starting, however, at a still cold 34 degrees.

And I feel confident a Wonderous Weekend will be yours for the taking because we are all Christmas People and truly believe in its message.

Seeing as I have to leave for work in a bit I do not have time to catch up right now.
Hope all is well with everyone.
I switched to a day shift today so I could attend my friends birthday party tonight. So it has been a short night for me, but that is ok. When I get home I have to finish decorating the cake. (decorations are done, just have to put it all together)

It's going to be sunny and in the mid 40's today. I am going to go for my morning walk with the dogs in a few minutes. Not too much planned for today. Maybe a trip to the mall to look for a birthday gift for my mom. Her birthday is Tuesday and I have no idea what I want to get her. But first I have to food shop, I have nothing in the house. Can't believe the amount of food these teenagers eat!
