Thanks Momnan. It was extremely hard to write and to tell you the truth, I never read back through it. I'm the type of person that likes to keep my emotions bottled up and I had planned to go some where completely different when I started writing. That's the story that wanted to come out though, so I let it.

It is hard to let your emotions come out especially emotions which can leave you feeling vulnerable but at the same time I think it is important to get those emotions out. You did a really wonderful job and I think I stated before, I left some comments for what they are worth. ((((Hugs)))) to you xo

Definitely do the Starbucks detour!

Morning everyone. Hope your all having a good weekend so far. It's a bit chilly here, but it's hats on and out for a walk for my wife & I. We were cooped up yesterday with the weather, but I'm getting cabin fever so I think We'll brave a walk. Might need a Starbucks to warm up though on the way home.

Glad to see you here. I've missed your Peanut dancing siggie!

Hello everybody! It's been a while since I posted in here, I hope everyone is well. I am good.

A work update: The guy I have worked with the last few years found another job and left. He and my supervisor couldn't get along, so it wasn't a surprise, it was coming for some time now. They do, however tell me it will be within the next couple of months that I get moved to the earlier shift, we shall see.

I hope everybody is having a great weekend!

Now I am hungry for some popcorn, MC!

A friend gave us a Whirly Pop years ago as a gift. It's a stovetop popper that looks like a stock pot. The lid has an attachment that stirs the popcorn with a crank while it's popping so it doesn't burn. It makes the BEST popcorn, and almost as fast as a microwave. Made some for our movie fest last night! Drizzle some butter-flavored pop 'n' top oil on it, sprinkle on some grated Parmesan, eat it while it's warm---mmmmmm .... It also makes great kettle corn if you throw in some sugar with the unpopped corn.

It took me a second to figure out "beanbag Marshmallow Peep," LOL!

Blessed Palm Sunday to you all!

Still enjoying our first really truly weekend in a while! I love sitting down with the laptop on a Sunday morning and reading the posts. After this I might put on a pot of tea and watch an episode of "Upstairs Downstairs." (Seasons 1 through 5 are free on Amazon Prime, so I've been watching it. Just about to start Season 4. As usual, I'm behind the times---everyone else watches "Downton Abbey," but I'm watching a series from the 1970s!)

Lots of good movie fun (and popcorn) last night. The sun is out today and it's beginning to look like spring, even if it's too cold to feel like it. I almost forgot that I bought a beanbag Marshmallow Peep last year. I dug it out so I can put it on my desk at work this week. No, I think I'll put it in my toy barn with the farmyard animals!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I have most of the classics. Some I need to convert to DVD. It's a newer one, within the past 10 or 15 years. I hope my memory returns, LOL!

A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, White Christmas??

What types are you wanting? Classics? Hallmark movies? All of the above?!

I have two totes of Christmas movies, I really need to make a list of them. At some point, It became a collection.

Good Morning/afternoon, frosty!! Your day sounds fun!
I am going to catch up on some reading & watch the Good Witch marathon in between! :witch:

.

Thanks Snowflake !! I completely forgot about the Good Witch marathon until you mentioned it and I love those movies !! xoxo

It is always so nice to see you and I hope THIS TIME they follow through with their promises !! xo

Thanks for the reminder, FTS. Yesterday I ordered National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Sleepless in Seattle, and You Got Mail. Now I need to order Santa Clause, and I think I will order, well, my mind just went blank--chemo brain strikes at the most inopportune times. I'll remember it later, I'm sure! What are some other Christmas movies I should order for my new portable DVD player? I have Elf, that much I remember, LOL!

I vote for a newer movie called Holiday Engagement from the Hallmark Channel. I thought it was charming and sweet !! xo

I bought some ergonomical crochet hooks and might test them out tonight if I am not too tired. I bought three little crochet booklets, one including a pattern for a hat similar to Snowflake's Pippi Longstocking one, but I am not ready to tackle it yet until I get my "pile of stuff" more organized. I am not sure when that will be completed, but it has to be soon!!! Which project are you working on?

Let me know what you decide to work on and how the ergonomical hooks work for you. I'm working on two afghans - one is a hexagonal granny square that you attach as you go along and the other is a baby afghan in a simple pattern. I'm still trying to decide if I want to do that one with just one color. Decisions, decisions. Have a MERRY day!

Have a wonderful Saturday afternoon and evening, Meceka - Maybe I will see you later at the Skillet ! xo

Thank you, CM3 - it was nice. I hope yours was even better! I'm bummed I missed the Skillet chat - I was too tired to set up my computer.

Hahaha!! You had me cracking up!!
Boo to hockey masks & the woods!!
Cargo vans also creepy!

Today I thought, oh no! I hope I don't break down on the country roads...
I watch too many true crime shows...

True crime shows are scary!

Talk about a day, I left for the grocery store at 11am and didn't get home until a little after 8pm. That's what happens when I run into my sister though. Not to mention the fact that Meijer was packed. I don't even know if I'v ever seen it that busy on black Friday. You'd think we were getting 10 feet of snow instead of 10 inches. I'll be back to get caught up after the Skillet is over.

I love the Meijer store chain. I hope you don't get that much snow!

Good evening,

Long day at work, I am feeling so sick, my ears are blocked, and just feeling crummy. I went through all the posts, just didn't respond to many.

Good night everyone.

I hope you are better today, xmas!

I wish you a beautiful and Blessed Sunday, too, track!

Hahaha!! Not what I was thinking, lol. ;) But it may be hard for people to get a full week off & financially more feasible for a long weekend.

Exactly!

good afternoon everyone..hope your all having a fantastic weekend, whats everyone been up too,i"m planning chilling out today watching a couple of christmas movies..SANTA CLAUSE-THE MOVIE...ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS...:sparkle:

Good afternoon, frosty. Good choices in movies!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's cold here in central Indy and the snow is starting to fall. It looks like we are going to see a little bit this morning and then the main event will arrive later this afternoon. They are still calling for 6 to 10 inches but I'm hoping they are wrong. I don't have much planned for today. I'm thinking about doing some baking this morning and then this afternoon will be devoted to Nascar. There will also be several trips outside to shovel. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Be safe, Made!
