Good morning, everyone!

I haven't been around much the past couple of weeks. I am still buried in school work and I won't be back full-time until the beginning of May.

It is so scary what is going on in Boston and my thoughts and prayers are with the citizens, their families, and of course everyone involved. When I was in bed this morning, I stumbled upon a news article about the guy that lost both of his legs in the explosion. He was photographed in a wheelchair and the photo was circulated by all of the different news stations and websites. maybe you remember seeing it. Anyway, as soon as this man woke up out of surgery, still highly medicated, he asked his brother for a pen and paper. He wrote down, "bag, saw the guy, looked right at me." This man helped the FBI look at video footage and find where the suspect was. What a hero!

I hope that everyone stays safe and that they are able to find the other suspect. It is so sad that an officer was killed overnight. My prayers are with his family.

I have a busy day ahead but I wanted to pop on and let you all know that I have been thinking of you!

Good morning mmc freinds
And its friday as well
What A week. it has been so many lifes lost and so many injured
Was watching a vidio last night of the texus explosion real scary stuff

Hope you all sleep good ,
The weather here today is bright big blue sky but coolist , still need a coat

Was taking to magaret lous sister and she is really sad think it is really just starting to set in now ,
Am trying my best to help her. she said she wood be taking to dann and will ask about babies.

No plansa for weekend at all. just the usual. work sleep

My brother has went to work in aberdeen in scotland and he loves it was going for 3 weeks and then one week home but he said now hes staying to july ... his 1st grandchild is due in may and he says hes not coming home for it so the daughter is not to happy about it she was on the phone last night crying ot me about it.
But we have been taking and we know his ex wife who left him for another man will have him cleaned, for he is tara soft and he will be killing himself working and she will have some excuse to borrow money of him.

Anyway. hope you all have a nice day and take care as you go along

Both of our offices are closed today and the MBTA is shut down while they track down the other bomber. (I have to work fro home today, though, even though the office is closed.) Didn't know about this until we woke up this morning.

Yes. The kid was killed in an awful accident at a baseball camp last summer. The community is still hurting.

Good morning!
I just went for a walk, it's so foggy out. It will stay cloudy all day and reach 60 degrees. I'm going to make beef vegetable soup for dinner tonight. The recipe calls for vegetable juice and I just realized I forgot to buy it. So I need to run out to the supermarket in a few minutes. Then back home to get the soup started in the crock pot and get some chores done.

So nuts ... all of Boston and several outlying communities are under "shelter in place" orders---stay inside with the doors locked, don't answer the door except for uniformed police. No public transportation is running, and the cabs have been shut down. We're several miles west of the lockdown area, but we're keeping abreast of the news. Never saw a situation like this before; hopefully never again.

Woke up and have been glued to the TV watching what's unfolding in Boston, scary stuff. I am glad you are home today MerryCarey.
We will be heading to my grandparents house later today, we have been go go go all vacation long, I think I need a vacation from my vacation. cheesy

On a less grave note, our cable modem went offline today (just as I have to work from home!), so I called Comcast. The modem came back up spontaneously while I was on the phone, but Comcast's data shows that the modem has shut itself off and come back on several times in recent days. (Must have been while we were at work.) So a tech has to come out to look at it tomorrow. Hope they can sort it out ... I need my MMC.
