Good Friday morning everyone. Woke up to frost on the ground for the second straight morning. I know it is just "blackberry winter" and will soon warm up but it is great while it lasts. I wish July weather was like this with a low of 30 and a high in the low 60s.

As I shared before, tomorrow will be a tough day for me and we go 'college shopping' with our son.

Have a blessed day and a great weekend everyone.

You will be in my thoughts!!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Weekend Eve'ers.

Hey! Hey! Hey!
It's a Milestone Day!

Indeedarino.
One third of the way back to Christmas Day.

Days to the Season: 201
Days to Christmas Day: 243
And TOMORROW -- the 200 day Season Window!
(THAT illustrious marker will be brought to your by the one, the only, BRENT!)

It cooled off again yesterday but wasn't bad.
Should be a nice if slightly cooler than normal weekend. Good for working at the beach cottage which is where I'm headed this afternoon, returning some time Sunday afternoon.
Currently, we show 53 degrees here.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
Enjoy your weekend to the hilt and I'll see you here Monday morning!

Hooray! A Milestone Day! 1/3 down, two more to go... and we all know that summer never fails to fly by!

Thanks for the reminder, Crown! I look forward to updating everyone tomorrow morning!

Good morning friends!
I'm sorry I've been missing lately- rough week!
My youngest son who is 26, lives with us while completing law school this May.
He got very sick late Monday into Tuesday with vomiting, etc. I ended up in an urgent care with him early Tuesday as he was extremely dehydrated.
We still don't know if it was food related or a virus, but he seemed to be better after IV hydration and such and now went down again with extreme fatigue and body aches.
I'm taking him in again today to his own physician, but he is so stressed out as he has two 25 page papers due and a corporate law exam on Monday.
I'm going to have him get a note from the doctor today just in case that exam has to be bumped up.
I'm pretty worried about him- he is sooooo tired, it's freaky.
Eek...why now?
Anyway, that's my story- hope everyone else is doing well and your weekend is peaceful!

Merrymistletoe, the pictures are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. You must be a very proud mama!!!

Thanks, guys ... I'm dragging a bit this morning. I just can't sleep soundly until Mr. is safely back home when he's been working late. They worked him past midnight last night, and he got to bed about 2 a.m. The advertising business is NUTS. I'm hoping that, just maybe, today at the office is less jam-packed than it has been. Can't wait to get to the weekend. Hoping they don't have work for Mr. again this weekend. Lately it's been a rare weekend that they haven't had him on standby for something. His office just doesn't observe normal working hours, and some of the clients at my office have a habit of submitting work around 5 or 5:30 p.m. that HAS to be done before morning. Still, I'm always grateful that we're both employed full-time.

Oh I know exactly how you feel b/c my boss has a habit of slamming me with paperwork at 130(I get off at 2) I even have gotten to the point of asking him do I have paper work..and he lies then and says no,but when he slams the papers down on my desk it's work that he "overlooked" or "just came in". Well I'm hoping that does not happen to you today and I hope that your Hubby does not get called in or is on call or has to work and yall can relax and just have a stress-free weekend!

I just wanted to say that my babies were over 6 months old before they started to sleep for longer periods of time. I really do know how you feel. It is exhausting and stressful. My oldest was colic and she would only take catnaps. I was weepy for months becuase I was so tired. It is a stage that can feel like its never ending. But they do grow up so quickly, it will eventually be over. I know developmental milestones can disrupt sleep. I remember when my daughter was learning how to crawl. She would wake up crying and I would find her on her knees half asleep. She was probably so confused. We always used those white noise machines in the babies rooms at night, they are soothing and calming. They grow and change and its hard to figure out, especially when you are sleep deprived. Hope things improve soon!

Thanks so much! he is learning how to crawl a little,he's not all the way there yet but he's trying so maybe that's it!? but thanks so much for the support and advice!

Good morning, everyone!

It's a wonderful day for celebration. We are ushering in the final weekend of April and, also, celebrating the One-third of the way back to Christmas Day Milestone! The Ottawa forecast calls for highs of about 11C (51f) today. Nothing wrong with low double digit temperatures! The weekend looks as if it will be real nice, too. No complaints.

I'm excited for the weekend. A good friend is celebrating his 30th birthday on Saturday night. It should be a great time! Other than that, Kim, Mike and I have something to attend prior. Overall, a good night lies ahead. As for tonight, we have no real plans. My doctor's appointment yesterday went fairly well. A little progress, but we're going to try some acupuncture next week and see if it works. Of course, I am very hopeful but doubtful. There are just a few areas of concern right now... I think the expansion of my patellar tendon put extra pressure on my joints and they're not quite working how they should be... We'll see how it goes!

Well, I should return to work. There are only two of us here right now and there's a bit of work that must be done. Have a great Friday, everyone! Looking forward to returning tomorrow morning and leading the count! It's always a pleasure to fill in for Crown. I hope I can do an OK job. Again, have a great day... and to Crown, have a safe trip and I hope re-opening the cottage goes very easily!

Hello everyone. Happy milestone day! And could it be any better? Milestone day falls on a Friday!

I'm not able to catch up on all the posts right now. Work and school are both busy. This weekend starts the final stretch of school before graduation, so I'm going to be a bit busy. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Made, I'm still praying for you and your mom and hope all is well!

I also forgot to add @Merrymistltoe- Those were great photos!! It's also nice to match a person to their username too! I hope your Dtr has an awesome time at the prom!

Thanks, I sure hope so too! I have my PG Tips here (a strong British brand of tea) to get me through the day.

Have you ever seem the advert for it with the puppet. can you buy them over there , mm stupid question you must be able to lol

Good Morning MMC and Happy Milestone Day!!!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high near 63 this afternoon. Mom is doing good today. Pretty much back to normal today besides a little bit of lingering numbness in her face. I have a lot to do today. It's amazing how fast you can get behind on stuff. Plus I have to spend all day tomorrow helping my sister set up for the girl scout mother daughter banquet so I won't have time to get anything done then. At least I got a good nights sleep. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear yours mum near back to normal and glad you got a good nights sleep it always helps sounds like your gonna be a busy bee

Actually, I've only seen one or two of the Monkey commercials (adverts), and only online (they don't air in the U.S.). But Mr. got ahold of a DVD (made in the 1980s?) that is retrospective of the older commercials featuring chimps (including Mr. Shifter). We look at that every once in a while, and it always makes me crave a cup of tea. (Watching "Upstairs, Downstairs" also makes me crave tea.)

Good Afternoon!

My mom fell on her porch steps and broke her ankle in two places today. I know she won't let it keep her down and will try to get back to the gym as soon as possible! She was just there yesterday. I really hope she doesn't have to have surgery.

I got a lot to take care of today so I hope you all are doing okay!

I'm an Amazon Prime member, so I can watch "Upstairs, Downstairs" (the original series from the 1970s) on Amazon Prime Video for free. I often enjoy one or two episodes on a Sunday, if I can manage it.

"The Two Ronnies" (Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett) were also from the 1970s. Mr. remembers them better than I do, but we're both enjoying the DVDs. The show has a little of everything: sketch comedy, stand-up comedy, parodies, and musical sketches. A couple of the Pythons (Michael Palin and Terry Jones) used to write for the shows, and we knew one of their special-material writers. The box set we got includes four Christmas specials---I'm looking forward to seeing those especially!

Thanks for the current PG Tips commercials! I'll look at those when I get home from the office. I didn't know PG Tips had their own YouTube channel!

Alli (aka Baby girl) has decided to graduate a semester early next year. we told her the only way she could do that was to go directly into college classes the next semester. No problem w/ that, she said. she found out yesterday that she scored so high on part of her Compass test she will not have to take any English classes. her Math is going to be retaken after she finishes pre-calculas (spelling) & see if that improves also.

continued...
congrats to your daughter, well done!
