Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning, friends! How are you all doing? All is well here! Just relaxing this am, after a very busy and tired day. I am caught up and ready to go though!

Happy Belated Memorial Day! How was your day yesterday? Mine was lovely! Lots of family time. I of course had to work Sunday night until yesterday morning. I got home around 8, I did some cooking, then had to have EA at parade line-up around 9:30 for baton. We marched in the parade, which she did a fabulous job. She's so cute. She doesn't do much of the routine yet - he instructor says she does it well during practice, but then during the parades, she pays attention to more what is going on around her. You don't blame her at all, only being 3. It's so cute! For any of you who are friends with me on Facebook, I posted a picture of her!

We had a picnic then after that. It was a blessed day. My mom and dad, sister and her boyfriend came. We had wonderful food and fellowship. DH made a fire later on. Around 5, I starting nodding off. The fire was making me sleepy. We were planning on doing hot dogs, mountain pies, that kind of thing, but I was really getting tired and I think the kids were too. I stayed up until around 7 and just couldn't do it anymore. I came in and did a few things around the house and hit the sack. I got up this morning around 7:30. I haven't slept that long, oh, since I can remember! Probably when I've only been sick, but I needed it.

Today, EA has preschool and we just have a lot of running around to do here later on. DS will be with us, so it will be a nice day!

Well, I am off to read some of the Countdown. I hope you're all doing well and you enjoyed the holiday yesterday. Have a great day and talk to you all later. God Bless and keep smiling!

Good Sunday afternoon all...still on baby watch over here! My daughter was due on May 23rd with our second little grandson. I spent most of the weekend helping out at her house with some spring cleaning and organizing so she feels ready to bring the new little guy home. I'm pooped out!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be hot here in central Indy this week so be prepared to hear me whining for a few days. Just remind me that I only have to get to the weekend. Then the high's will go back to being in the mid 70's for a few days. Not much going on here today. I opened my bedroom closet this morning and had an avalanche of winter clothes fall off the shelfs and on to me, so I guess I'll spend some time getting them all packed away. I also expect my buddy to show up so I will spend the afternoon getting more stories for my movie. Actually I think im working on the sequel now. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm on my second cup of coffee, trying to remember where I left off last Friday. It's bound to be a busy couple of days, since last Friday was so slow, with all of our customer taking a long weekend.

And to top it off, the only other guy here in the engineering dept. just left for the week. His wife is having a baby! He's a super young man, and this will be his third beautiful daughter.

I spend most of the day yesterday practicing my golf swing, specifically chipping. I have a pretty good drive and long iron swing, but my short game stinks. I have to say, it felt good to hold the clubs again. My brother-in-law plays every weekend, so maybe I should invite myself soon.

It was raining this morning and now is getting foggy as the temperatures rise.

I love going to the driving range but I'm terrible. I could throw the ball further than I can hit it most of the time. So I just stick with miniature golf.

wow, what a lot going on here, did not think I would ever get to the end of all the chatter!
It is so nice to read through and catch up with what is going on.

Very very busy at work, they had cashiers and baggers on today,. Bagging is something the customers do for themselves, but when it get busy like this we have the cashiers bag to speed things up.

By the way, please wash those reusable bags regularly. I do not like to bag because so many of these are just disgustingly dirty and smelly...I use lots of hand sanitizer!

I know I was absent for a few days or so here and there - did I miss something? Did you get another job?

I just got a Gingerbread one out and now I get that Christmasy feeling and hungry every time I wash my hands.

I have a $25 gift card from there, so when I go to the mall today, I am going to get a bunch to stock up. I know they probably won't have any Christmas scents, but at least I will have some nice scents for the summer!

Good morning, MMC!!

It's a dreary day again, here. Cool, rainy, windy, and a high of 67 degrees.

It looks like rain just about every day this week. Darn, I was hoping for some deck time.

We had a quiet Memorial Day- Adrian wasn't feeling well, so we lounged around the house. We ate well, though! We had grilled pork chops, loaded baked potatoes, and green beans. It rained & stormed most of the day.

How was your holiday?

I need to go grocery shopping today or tomorrow, study, and prepare for my cousins that come on Friday. So excited!!

Anyone who knows anything about dog breeds knows the Wheaten Terrier cannot be completely domesticated. It's like living with a wolf...you don't turn your back, that's for sure!

Hmmm, could be a growth spurt, whenever my boys head into a growth spurt they turn into snack monsters. I suppose that is why my 8 year old is nearly 5 feet tall and wears a size 7.5 mens shoe. cheesy

They could be it, as far as the eating. He and EA are only two pound difference, but they are 22 months apart! For you who have seen pictures of them, know that he isn't heavy. He is just a growing boy!
