Good mid-morning everyone!

I woke up to a very cloudy sky and heavy rains. Weather forecast says it will rain all day therefore issued a flood warning. Guess we have to watch our small stream and the big lake.

My dads parents are planing to give my das his part of the inheritance. His older brother already has his part (he got the family house), the youngest got his part to build his own house. Now it is my fathers turn. They would like to buy a flat, as houses are waaaaayyyyyyyyy to expensive around here. They worry that if they get sick and have to go to a nursing home all their money (and dads part of the inheritance) will be used for they care. In our country this is part of the social system.

Now we have to look for affordable flats, which isn't exactly easy. We live in a pretty expensive area and can't just move to other places.

Could you pray for us? We hope for wisdom to make the right decision. Besides we try to calm our grandparents down, as they get pretty worked up. Really don't know what's the reason for all this stressing that's going on around here.

GUESS WHAT??? I have GREAT NEWS!!! When I was home for lunch I got a call from the dogs owner!!!!!! They use to be our neighbors. They got a new puppy last fall & they moved out - to a farm - in November. The dog found her way back to her old neighborhood!! I am so, so happy!!! Her name is Maggie & she is going home tonight!!!!

Oh, that is sooo great! But couldn't it be, that Maggie will show up again? I mean, now that she knows the way to her old home? Guess you will play dog saviour more often.

Yesterday I got home quite late and had such a bad headache that after I put things away I went straight to bed. Apparently I slept through quite the storm - lots of lightning, thunder off in the distance and pouring rain. Today is beautiful! It is warm, but comfortable. The sun is shining right now, but there are heavy storms forecast for later tonight.

My headache is gone!!! Yay!!! I have spent the day trying to catch up on all the things I should have done last night and tackle all the things that I wanted to do today. Busy!

Hi everyone!! Miss you all!

I am getting ready to go on vacation in a couple of days and of course I am sick right now. I think it's a head cold but I don't know for sure. My head is foggy and I feel a little out of it. My nose was runny/slightly congested for a couple of days and my throat was scratchy so I thought it was allergies. That seemed to pass though and now I am just stuck with a cloudy head! I tried a decongestant yesterday, didn't help. Claritin today, didn't help, at least not yet.

I cannot believe how fast time flies! I finally just finished my summer classes and I have one class in the fall left. Then I will finally graduate!

I really am surprised that it is August already. That sounds silly to say I but I feel like it was May yesterday! I have seen a ton of Halloween decorations out in the stores which means Christmas stuff will be soon! Bring it on!!

Hey, just checking in. I have had a very long day today, I got up at 3:30 to head down to Virginia to start some preliminary engineering work on 5 schools; I just got in about an hour ago. tomorrow is supposed to be worse, head to Virginia again to work a day shift and then head to Delawareo work an evening shift. I'll be up and down I-95 all day tomorrow....

I sure hope that Friday is a little more calmer... well, I'll be here checking the days posts~

I walked into a complete disaster at work today, I take one day off and everything is in disarray. The first thing I needed to do was calm my stressed out employee down, and then took it piece by piece. We will be where we need to be tomorrow, I hope my vacation week is going to be okay for them.

Hey Guys! Hope you are all merry and well! Things are always busy for me but these days things are down right chaotic especially with kids off school. I love having him home though, we have fun. The baby loves having his big bro around too!

My eldest turns 6 on thursday so busy organising for the big day! I can't believe he is 6!!! I still feel like a new mum if I am being honest! Anyway I want to stay and chat on for longer but busy busy busy........

We go tonight to meet DD's teacher & school starts on Thursday. I hate school, but I love the routine! Third grade, here we come.

Hello everyone! I can't believe its after noon already. My daughter started her new job this morning. I can't wait to pick her up and see how it went. I really hope she likes it. As soon as I finish my coffee I am going to run a few errands. Not too much else going on here today. The weather is still beautiful, not too hot. I turned the air conditioner off on the first floor to open up the doors and windows and let some fresh air in. That road work is still going on around the corner, those trucks are so loud! I'm happy though because they are repaving the roads in my neighborhood. My dogs are going crazy every time they hear that beeping noise when the trucks back up. I think the dogs are annoying me more than the trucks, lol.

Had a great lunch with my friend today and her little girl.
Now I have to get the zucchinis ready and bake some bread with it. I picked them up at a road side stand so I know they are nice and fresh. Going to put them in the freezer and save for Christmas treats!!!

That sounds really good! I'm going to bake some banana bread this afternoon.

I bought a laptop for my business, and should've done that long before starting. lesson learned =] Having trouble navigating around Windows 8.
