On the way there, there is a rumored very haunted cemetery in near Worcester, MA. It's name is Friend Cemetery, aka Spiders Gate Cemetery, I have heard stories of it since I was a kid. It also has the nickname of being the "Eighth Gate to H**l.

Next summer we also plan to go back to Lake George, and go on one of their ghost tours of Fort William Henry. I guess Ghost Hunters went there a few years ago and found "evidence" of strange goings on.
Good evening,
Okay, can somebody please tell me where today went, it was 10pm before I even sat down today. We were so busy today doing errands and other things we just lost the day. I did pick up a brand new Santa from Goodwill today, we had to go there to drop off LC's old clothes and of course I couldn't resist looking at the Christmas stuff. Our friend, who is cleaning out her house also gave us some old Christmas decorations and ornaments, including some early to mid 60's Shiny Brite ornaments, and some 30+year old Hallmark ornaments. I will try to get my pictures posted tomorrow. Here is a sample of one from Lake George, NY:

Have a good night all!
When I saw Xmas365's photo of "A Christmas to Remember", I though the Christmas Blossoms thread had launched prematurely!
Good Morning MMC!!!!! Another hot day here with a high in the mid 80's. It's not supposed to be as humid though so at least that's a plus. Most of my morning will be spent at my sister's. She is in charge of the fundraiser for my niece's school and all of the forms just got turned in over the last couple of days. So now she has to go through and check all 500 of them and total all of the orders to place the order with the fundraising company. She is also in charge of the girl scout fall festival and needs to go through and count all of the prizes that she has picked up so she can figure out how many more she needs to order. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings all. I have never been very active on these forums but will try to make an effort to do so going forward. Plenty of changes in my near future which always makes constants like a forum of Christmas lovers even more special
Packing up my flat in a rainy London currently ahead of a move to Stockholm, Sweden for a new job. Unless I'm terribly misinformed this should mean plenty of long dark and wintery days ahead for me
All the best to you all,

Good afternoon everyone!
I hope your weekend has went well thus far. I failed to mention something about yesterday... It was my grandmother's 99th birthday! That's right. My wonderful grandmother turned 99. One year away from reaching the century mark. It's hard to fathom all the change that she has experienced since she was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1914. Of course, I'm more than glad that she is still with us. To be honest, it was real difficult not being there for such an important day. She lives in Sault Ste. Marie with the rest of my family... but I think I will have to head back for her 100th birthday next year.
99 years. What an accomplishment. In commemoration, here's a photo of my grandmother 28 years ago at my camp (cottage). She must have been 71. I was a mere few months old and my brother was 4! I'm so lucky to still have her around.

Good Morning, once-again-it's-the-weekend Friends.
How can these weekends keep coming and going so quickly?
Racing by faster all the time.
As proof, just look how far along our count has advanced and how little time there is left until yet another Milestone arrives:
Days to the Season: 81
Days to Christmas Day: 123
In fact, that next Milestone, the 2/3 Christmas Day marker, arrives TOMORROW.
Merciful heavens!
Warm and humid yesterday but the weekend promises to be cooler with lower humidity according to the weather service.
(I'll hold them to it!)
We are at 67 degrees here, currently.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
