Love it! I would go for the wine, too!

I would have went for something a little stronger until I read that article about the 2 guys here on facebook last night. Now I think I better stick to the wine.

Good afternoon, friends~

I had a very productive day today!!

First, I had a few appointments. One was with my chiropractor who is amazing! She has really helped me a lot, and is a big animal lover too. She told me I could bring Harlowe anytime if she isn't feeling well, and she would adjust her too. For free...nice lady.

Then, I had to go to Menard's for some batteries, nails, and light bulbs. I found lots of Christmas things there, just starting to be stocked. Awesome!!

After that, I came home & started going through our storage under the stairs. Adrian couldn't find his carving tools, and with it being prime pumpkin carving season, I had to save the day! I finally found them packed in Christmas things (?)!! Must've been by Adrian... So, he's happy, and I had fun looking at all of our Christmas decorations!! Some of them have never been used, so can't wait to put them out this year!! Adrian hit clearance the past two years, and found some awesome things.

Going to start dinner soon. Date night tonight =]

LOL!!!! We had 2 guys arrested here yesterday for getting into a fight over a bottle of tequila and one of the guys ended up biting off a large chunk off of the other's nose!!!

Well it's Friday afternoon at work and I am almost out of here! Terribly busy day and so looking forward to this weekend. I kind of hesitate to bring this up but as we all are so excited about this season change of fall and leading up the Holidays I just realized and it hit me hard that cm3 won't be here with us this year. I mean I do think about her everyday but the thought that she won't be here for us to share it kind of just smacked me in the face just now. I know everyone here misses her but it's really sinking in with me that she really is gone. The first Holiday after a loved one has passed are always the hardest I know from when my Dad died. I hate to bring it up because I don't really want to bring the atmosphere down. It just don't seem right that she is not here talking about her furbabies well I will talk to yall soon as I get home and situated!

Don't worry about bringing us down!! It's going to get harder for a lot of us the closer we get to Christmas. You just have to believe that she is still here with us. She may not be able to post for us to see but she is still there watching over us and guiding us along the way. She lives on in our love of the season and love for one another. She helped bring us together as a family and as long as we keep the love that she showed us in our hearts, she will always be with us.

It's hard, I know. I really miss her too. She was a dear friend to me, just like she was to many of us here. Made said it very eloquently, she truly is our angel, and I feel her presence not only here but in everyday life. Such a beautiful & sincere soul, I think she watches over us, our families, and especially the fur kids.

Let's celebrate Christween & make her proud!!

That reminds me of something I forgot to report the other day. One of the perks of working at an advertising agency: we did a pitch (a presentation to convince a client to use us) for a local frozen-yogurt brand, and they must have liked it, because the next day they showed up with free samples for everyone. And it was VERY good---I had a cup of chocolate-coconut! This sort of thing doesn't happen all that often, but it's fun when it does.

I hope she will get used to the noise. There was a lot of noises going on here not to mention stuff being moved around - highly disruptive to her. She hid for a lot less time - spent a lot more time running around like she was being chased by something. Happily snoozing again. cheesy

Good evening!
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that sent up a prayer for Molly! The doctor examined her and said it doesn't appear to be anything serious. She may have pulled a ligament. I already started her on anti inflammatory pills. If she doesn't improve in a couple of days I will bring her back for an X-ray. She is 11 years old now and I could see some changes in her, she is definitely slowing down.
And my daughters car situation is finally resolved. My husband surprised us all tonight and brought her new car home. This time its an automatic and she can drive it, lol. She is thrilled. I'm happy that is behind us!

I'm glad it wasn't anything serious - will keep Molly in my prayers.

I popped in to wish everyone a good day! I'm helping to host 'World's biggest coffee morning' for 'Macmillan Cancer Support' in the campus today so I'm leaving a way earlier than my lecture starts. We did quite well last year but we do hope for even better donations this year so fingers crossed.

Morning, MMC!

This is going to be a quick post because I am super rushed (what else is new?) lol! I have to shower, straighten my hair, put on makeup, and get out of the door within an hour and a half. I decided to make an appointment with my dermatologist for the mole that my surgeon spotted on my arm and thought was suspicious. I am almost 100% sure that they are going to cut it off. While I am there I asked for a full body check just to make sure that I am not missing anything else that is pre-cancerous.

I'm a little nervous, of course, but I don't think it will be too bad. I'm not a fan of needles but I have been stuck so much lately that I'm kind of used to it.

I'll let you know how my appointment goes although I won't know much until my biopsy results come back.
