Morning, MMC!

This is going to be a quick post because I am super rushed (what else is new?) lol! I have to shower, straighten my hair, put on makeup, and get out of the door within an hour and a half. I decided to make an appointment with my dermatologist for the mole that my surgeon spotted on my arm and thought was suspicious. I am almost 100% sure that they are going to cut it off. While I am there I asked for a full body check just to make sure that I am not missing anything else that is pre-cancerous.

I'm a little nervous, of course, but I don't think it will be too bad. I'm not a fan of needles but I have been stuck so much lately that I'm kind of used to it.

I'll let you know how my appointment goes although I won't know much until my biopsy results come back.

I had a few removed almost two years ago, now. And it's something to keep an eye on yourself, as well as regular dermatology check-ups.

Just as I thought, he shaved the mole off. It didn't hurt, except for the shot to numb me. It burned for a second or two but that was it. I'm going to have a gorgeous scar now :wink: He was also initially concerned about a mole he saw on my back just because of the dark color but he took a piece of tape and said some of the pigment was coming off which was a great sign. All I have to do is monitor myself and make sure nothing changes!

I will know the results of my biopsy within a week or so.

Since my surgery is over and the mole is now removed I can finally have peace of mind and get ready to enjoy the holiday season!!

Hey again! Today is kinda busy so I can't check in as much but I am tryin! Things will really calm down after Monday and September ends!!! The holidays are getting so close I can taste it! Meanwhile Brandi is at home getting ready for our company that is flying in tomorrow afternoon. Jordan seems to be getting better it's just at night he gets fussy I wonder if something else is making him get us up and bring him to our room??? he is so close to 2 now I am worried about potty training him...what an ordeal I bet that is going to be oh well I better get back to work have a good day everyone!

Could he be getting molars? Maybe a little ibuprophen will help him sleep better? Either way hope he is better soon!

Thank you all for sending get well wishes for Molly. She is having a good day today, I hope the medicine will help her. I can't bear to see her in pain.
I had a dentist appointment this morning. When I went for a cleaning and X-rays recently they told me I had a cavity. I would have never known, nothing was bothering me. Anyway I'm glad that's taken care of.
And today was the first day my daughter got to drive her new car in to school. It is so strange to me now that the three of them are all driving. This was the first morning in many, many years that I didn't have to bring or pick up anyone from school. It's a nice break but also makes me sad at the same time. The years have flown by.
Not too much going on this afternoon. I may take a ride to Target for a few things. Then back home to cook dinner, today is taco night.

It is SUCH a gorgeous day! I ended up having to work later (go figure!) Boss went out to eat with a salesman! When I got home I rode my bike to Mom/Dads to drop something off. I chatted with Dad (who was sitting outside) for awhile & now I am home. Think I will finish packing up & head to the lake. You all have a great weekend!!!

We tried our best! The campus wasn't that busy today as it usually is so we couldn't get more money donated than we did but we think that this this coffee morning was still successful. :]

Cancer support is SO important! Thanks for what you do!

I'm happy that my university has been hosting 'Coffee morning' for three years now and I'm very glad to be a part of it. My younger cousin, with whom we have always been very close, was affected by cancer. Thanks God she is cured now but I know how knowing that someone you love and really care about is seriously ill breaks your heart and you even can loose him/her, so I feel an urgency to help hosting this kind of event. As the treatment of cancer is usually quite expensive, raising money is the least we can do to help those patients.

It's Friday! Hope everyone had a good last day at work and now are ready for the weekend! ^^ Although it's only nearly 8 p.m. here, I'm about to go to bed because two pieces of cake I ate today seem to be too much for me (I don't normally eat food like this so obviously my stomach doesn't like it anymore ^^), and my feet are soar because my shoes, which I had worn hundreds of times before, 'decided' not to fit my feet today. :/ I'm sure I will be okey tomorrow, and I can't wait to get back to my common eating regime.

what´s up?

the bronchitis is getting better.....still annoying...never expierenced anything like that....on Sunday it will be three weeks.......but it is improving!!!

Today marked the end of Kandice´s outside season for field hockey team.....after the fall break (she is off from school 2and a half weeks starting next Thursday) they are going to play in the hall.....

so all the parents brought some snacks....meatballs, sausages, bretzels, chips, carrots, cheese and grape sticks and on and on........1st....the parents would play against the kids....after that we would eat and play on.....it was fun....but I was a bit afraid for my bones.....I used to be a really skilled field hockey player.......but kids do scare me....they don´t really have a feeling for the hockeystick and the ball yet....so it often happens that young kids are hitting You on the chins, the hand, the ankles.....nevertheless it was big fun......btw....we were playing 8 parents against about 30 kids.....hahaha

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that sent up a prayer for Molly! The doctor examined her and said it doesn't appear to be anything serious. She may have pulled a ligament. I already started her on anti inflammatory pills. If she doesn't improve in a couple of days I will bring her back for an X-ray. She is 11 years old now and I could see some changes in her, she is definitely slowing down.
And my daughters car situation is finally resolved. My husband surprised us all tonight and brought her new car home. This time its an automatic and she can drive it, lol. She is thrilled. I'm happy that is behind us!

Hope the meds help Molly and glad the car situation got figured out!
