It has been a long day here, I am up later than I should be. I am stressing out about my inventory tomorrow, I don't have my strongest people on, and one of them needs to be "babysat" to be sure he gets the work done, and I don't have that type of time tomorrow. Then I have to back for 6am on Sat. morning to enter the final numbers. Wish me luck, please.
I did pick up the DVD The Legend of Smurfy Hollow to watch during the Halloween season, so we have that to look forward to and a week from tonight the Bruins start up. Wooohooo!!!

I popped in to wish everyone a good day! I'm helping to host 'World's biggest coffee morning' for 'Macmillan Cancer Support' in the campus today so I'm leaving a way earlier than my lecture starts. We did quite well last year but we do hope for even better donations this year so fingers crossed.

Bronchitis has been going around here in northern California beginning as early as spring. This has really been a tough strain of if. Take care. In addition to feeling horrible and having a sore throat, you become so worn down physically. Healing thoughts going out to you. Hopefully, Kandice will not get it!

We tried our best! The campus wasn't that busy today as it usually is so we couldn't get more money donated than we did but we think that this this coffee morning was still successful. :]



I'm happy that my university has been hosting 'Coffee morning' for three years now and I'm very glad to be a part of it. My younger cousin, with whom we have always been very close, was affected by cancer. Thanks God she is cured now but I know how knowing that someone you love and really care about is seriously ill breaks your heart and you even can loose him/her, so I feel an urgency to help hosting this kind of event. As the treatment of cancer is usually quite expensive, raising money is the least we can do to help those patients.

I'm sure she really appreciates your support & love <3

It's Friday! Hope everyone had a good last day at work and now are ready for the weekend! ^^ Although it's only nearly 8 p.m. here, I'm about to go to bed because two pieces of cake I ate today seem to be too much for me (I don't normally eat food like this so obviously my stomach doesn't like it anymore ^^), and my feet are soar because my shoes, which I had worn hundreds of times before, 'decided' not to fit my feet today. :/ I'm sure I will be okey tomorrow, and I can't wait to get back to my common eating regime.

It is SUCH a gorgeous day! I ended up having to work later (go figure!) Boss went out to eat with a salesman! When I got home I rode my bike to Mom/Dads to drop something off. I chatted with Dad (who was sitting outside) for awhile & now I am home. Think I will finish packing up & head to the lake. You all have a great weekend!!!

Thank you all for sending get well wishes for Molly. She is having a good day today, I hope the medicine will help her. I can't bear to see her in pain.
I had a dentist appointment this morning. When I went for a cleaning and X-rays recently they told me I had a cavity. I would have never known, nothing was bothering me. Anyway I'm glad that's taken care of.
And today was the first day my daughter got to drive her new car in to school. It is so strange to me now that the three of them are all driving. This was the first morning in many, many years that I didn't have to bring or pick up anyone from school. It's a nice break but also makes me sad at the same time. The years have flown by.
Not too much going on this afternoon. I may take a ride to Target for a few things. Then back home to cook dinner, today is taco night.
