After today, there are 10 more Mondays until Christmas!
Do yall realize how quickly those ten Mondays will go?
That makes Monday seem okay to deal with. cheesy

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! Happy Columbus Day! Happy Thanksgiving in Canada!
:!!
It's a typical Monday morning here. Tired! I was ready for bed by 8:30 last night - I had to fight to stay awake until 10:00! It just gets dark too early now! HA! So I shouldn't be tired today, but I feel like I could use a nap! (won't happen...)
Our meal at the lake Friday night turned out really well. Saturday afternoon we went on a bike ride with friends. Saturday night we watched Mama Mia on the big screen. Yesterday we rode bike at the lake in the morning, then rode bike with my family in the afternoon along the Miami Erie canal to a 40 acre pond. It was a beautiful (though bumpy) ride! Last night we went to my sisters - my BIL made a bunch of chicken halves on his cooker - we had all placed an order for how many we wanted to take home to freeze for a quick easy meal! They were delish! They look dark in the picture, but they really weren't!
Poof - there went the weekend! Not much going on this week that I know of! Dad has a doc appt with a back surgeon Thursday. Makes me kind of nervous. He has a flattened vertebrae in his lower back - they say it's not an operable type thing, but they want an opinion from a surgeon! I hope there is something they can do for him - for the pain! And I sure hope they don't tell him that his days of mowing lawn (riding mower) are over! He could mow 365 days a year & he would be a happy man! So a little prayer for my papa would be appreciated!
Have a great Monday!
Dogs are sleeping, Lil' Bambina is sleeping, and Dr. Wifey is sleeping...
so I just wanted to catch a few minutes here...
What's yall's thoughts about the 25 Days schedule? I haven't got to look at in depth, but it looks pretty good to me. I'm going to look at it for a few more minutes before I doze off....
Speaking of which....when the baby sleeps, we all should sleep....so I'm off...
Made, Go Colts!
Goodnight, friends!!

I just took a pie out of the oven for dessert tonight: apple-cranberry. It smells so good! I am making one of my Facebook recipes for dinner: Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo.
We have ordered the hood for the Wolf stove. It is huge and only cost $3000! This will be an expensive kitchen/den/enclosed patio, but it will all be worth it. There won't be much eating out after it is completed, LOL!
Wal-Mart had a new flavor of bagels this morning: Apple Pie. Of course, I bought some! I bought some excellent Ben and Jerry's ice cream: Chocolate Peppermint Crunch. It has a heavenly flavor! Wal-Mart also had a limited "edition" of Peppermint Wonderland and Pumpkin Patch by Edy's/Dreyer's. Next time, I will get Pumpkin Patch, for sure!
I am going to make another FB recipe later on this week: Pumpkin Delight Pecan Squares. It calls for a yellow cake mix. When I went to pick out the cake mix, I discovered they now have Pillsbury sugar-free cake mix for $1.88! I can hardly wait to taste it! This will be perfect for Hubby's diabetes!
I also bought a bag of marshmallows in a variety flavor of banana, raspberry, orange, and strawberry. I think I will try them in Rice Krispy Treat bars. To me, the orange ones are the best.
Afternoon all!! Its my eldest daughters 12th birthday today!! she is growing up so fast!! dont know where the years have gone.
A birthday tea this afternoon after school then we are all going out at the weekend to celebrate her birthday.
70 days to go??!! the start of the season will be upon us before we know it!
going to catch up on some posts then finish making cakes for later
have a great day everyone!!
Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
I had to leave work early yesterday to take Elizabeth to dance. Nancy usually does this, but she's an accountant, and October 15 is some kind of deadline similar to April 15. I had to kill 2 hours in Statesboro by myself, so I walked through the Christmas section in Wal-Mart, but it was so hot in there I couldn't get into the spirit. Then I killed some time walking through a pawn shop. You can get some killer deals on tools there!
I got home just in time to put on a tie and watch Jacob get inducted into the National Honor Society. It was a nice ceremony. After that, we went to Nancy's parents' house for supper.
I hope to cut the grass today. It looks crazy!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
