After today, there are 10 more Mondays until Christmas!

Do yall realize how quickly those ten Mondays will go?

That makes Monday seem okay to deal with. cheesy

Shoot....two more things....

1. Happy Thanksgiving!
2. 19 more days until we put up our Christmas Tree....

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! Happy Columbus Day! Happy Thanksgiving in Canada!
:!!

It's a typical Monday morning here. Tired! I was ready for bed by 8:30 last night - I had to fight to stay awake until 10:00! It just gets dark too early now! HA! So I shouldn't be tired today, but I feel like I could use a nap! (won't happen...)

Our meal at the lake Friday night turned out really well. Saturday afternoon we went on a bike ride with friends. Saturday night we watched Mama Mia on the big screen. Yesterday we rode bike at the lake in the morning, then rode bike with my family in the afternoon along the Miami Erie canal to a 40 acre pond. It was a beautiful (though bumpy) ride! Last night we went to my sisters - my BIL made a bunch of chicken halves on his cooker - we had all placed an order for how many we wanted to take home to freeze for a quick easy meal! They were delish! They look dark in the picture, but they really weren't!

Poof - there went the weekend! Not much going on this week that I know of! Dad has a doc appt with a back surgeon Thursday. Makes me kind of nervous. He has a flattened vertebrae in his lower back - they say it's not an operable type thing, but they want an opinion from a surgeon! I hope there is something they can do for him - for the pain! And I sure hope they don't tell him that his days of mowing lawn (riding mower) are over! He could mow 365 days a year & he would be a happy man! So a little prayer for my papa would be appreciated!

Have a great Monday!

Your Papa is in my thoughts.

Dogs are sleeping, Lil' Bambina is sleeping, and Dr. Wifey is sleeping...

so I just wanted to catch a few minutes here...

What's yall's thoughts about the 25 Days schedule? I haven't got to look at in depth, but it looks pretty good to me. I'm going to look at it for a few more minutes before I doze off....

Speaking of which....when the baby sleeps, we all should sleep....so I'm off...

Made, Go Colts!

Three words: No Harry Potter!!!! cheesy

There is quite a bit of Toy Story and Winnie the Pooh, but the Rankin/Bass specials are there. Lots of Christmas Vacation also.

I like it.

Goodnight, friends!!

Well the colts lost so I'm off to cry in a corner somewhere.

Goodnight, Everyone!!!!!

Good evening,

I was getting ready for work this morning, and my youngest comes out of his room and says: "71 days until Christmas!" He met Mrs. Claus yesterday at Yankee Candle Village and she was talking to both boys about Christmas and the North Pole. She and Santa were there painting pumpkins with kids, we had a great time. If any of you make it to Western Massachusetts you definitely have to visit Yankee Candle Village, all the Christmas stuff, the candles is just amazing. I will be posting pictures tomorrow here and in the Blossoms thread.

Very busy day at work today, we could not keep up at all and we have some head honchos coming in Thursday, so everyone will be walking on eggshells the next few days. At least I am off tomorrow. I actually did receive a compliment today, which are always few and far between, my supervisor said to me "He wishes he could clone me, because my work is always done" and I told him it was because "I try to stay 2 steps ahead of you because I don't want to deal with you." He thinks I was joking around. cheesy

I hope you all had a great day.

Good night, everyone.

I just took a pie out of the oven for dessert tonight: apple-cranberry. It smells so good! I am making one of my Facebook recipes for dinner: Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo.

We have ordered the hood for the Wolf stove. It is huge and only cost $3000! This will be an expensive kitchen/den/enclosed patio, but it will all be worth it. There won't be much eating out after it is completed, LOL!

Wal-Mart had a new flavor of bagels this morning: Apple Pie. Of course, I bought some! I bought some excellent Ben and Jerry's ice cream: Chocolate Peppermint Crunch. It has a heavenly flavor! Wal-Mart also had a limited "edition" of Peppermint Wonderland and Pumpkin Patch by Edy's/Dreyer's. Next time, I will get Pumpkin Patch, for sure!

I am going to make another FB recipe later on this week: Pumpkin Delight Pecan Squares. It calls for a yellow cake mix. When I went to pick out the cake mix, I discovered they now have Pillsbury sugar-free cake mix for $1.88! I can hardly wait to taste it! This will be perfect for Hubby's diabetes!

I also bought a bag of marshmallows in a variety flavor of banana, raspberry, orange, and strawberry. I think I will try them in Rice Krispy Treat bars. To me, the orange ones are the best.

all sounds so good!
Your kitchen is going to be amazing, look forward to seeing the pictures.
hope your computer problems get sorted out soon

Tuesday already, time to start my week!
Very cool morning here at only 4c (39f)
Working , but only until 12:30 then I have a meeting this afternoon that I really do not want to go to but it is necessary.

Good Morning, Advancing Christmas Supporters.

And advancing we are, right on through the remainder of our count and on to the start of Christmas Season 2013!

The figures:
Days to Halloween: 16
Days to the Season: 29
Days to Christmas Day: 71

Four weeks from tomorrow - Christmas Season 2013 begins.
And Halloween arrives a scant 2 weeks from the day after tomorrow.
Wow! The year is racing by faster than Bing can drink coffee.
(Well, almost as fast anyway.)

Still damp and cool. Not nice.
Warmth. I want warmth.
And dryness.
Maybe today.
Right now, we are at 55 degrees, with no rain falling.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Friends!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to leave work early yesterday to take Elizabeth to dance. Nancy usually does this, but she's an accountant, and October 15 is some kind of deadline similar to April 15. I had to kill 2 hours in Statesboro by myself, so I walked through the Christmas section in Wal-Mart, but it was so hot in there I couldn't get into the spirit. Then I killed some time walking through a pawn shop. You can get some killer deals on tools there!

I got home just in time to put on a tie and watch Jacob get inducted into the National Honor Society. It was a nice ceremony. After that, we went to Nancy's parents' house for supper.

I hope to cut the grass today. It looks crazy!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
