I think you are right about LC's performance. I used to love that stuff when my kids were young. It will be so sweet when he opens his gift at Christmas!

I'm fine but busy as usual.
The weather her is cold but sunny. We already had snow all the way down twice and will have new snow on saturday. I love it, as the weather fits the season perfectly.

Made, I wanted you to know that Hubby is doing a great job at demolition. He used one of his skill saws and made a grid of the kitchen floor so he can clear one section at a time. He has to get it ready for the concrete guy. He also has to do some earthquake stuff even though we are not prone to earthquakes, and the area is only a few inches deep! I guess the county has to make its money somehow! TTYT
I had it for the first time ever in my life, earlier this year and I just turned 50. So, I guess that's not too to bad, I guess.... I hope they're able to finally knock it out of you this time coach~

How is everyone! I imagine you all are busy with your thanksgiving preparations! How exciting!
I am feeling the effects of a slight cold this morning but fingers crossed it doesn't get worse and goes away quickly! I really am sorry for falling behind with everyone's posts. These days are so hectic as I am sure it is for everyone. I am trying my best to get through some shopping this week. I also have Mr. Festive's birthday next week to!
My two year old is keeping me on my toes these days .........he is into everything, I don't know why he is so suddenly mischievous!!!! LOL
I'll try and pop by again later. Thinking of each of you and sending the very best wishes!

Good morning everyone...It's Wednesday and you know what that means...It's Thanksgiving Day Eve (bet you thought I was going to say something else; huh!). It's a cold, windy and rainy morning and it's just now starting to turn over to freezing rain and sleet. At least I'm already at work and not on the road.
I started my thanksgiving day prep for the Turkey last night by going to the grocery store, the turkey is thawed out and will be brined today, the stuffing and other items is prepped, so we're getting there.:happy:
I noticed this year they are not having Miracle on 34th street (1947) on TV, right after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade...So, I'm going to have to break out the DVD's and put it in, it's sort of a tradition with me. Years past, they used to also have the Wizard of Oz on TV as well, Oh well...I'll do it myself...
Still packing, and looking for houses, we got into a bidding war for another house yesterday and this morning and I believe/ have a feeling that we lost again. It will be the 5th house that we liked and lost because of one thing or another; It's a very disheartening process which can really bring you down. If we don't get this one, then we will have to move twice and that will totally stink... Keep your fingers crossed for me, I need a miracle.
Well, since I'm here at work, I guess I have to start doing some. lol....I'll be checking in here today from time to time...

Oh Yum!!! I will be cooking and prepping all day today. It is a lot of work but I just love it!

I still have so much Christmas shopping to do. I have been so busy getting ready for Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving I will be able to concentrate on my shopping again.

It's 4 days till moving day, and the house is a mess!
All my Christmas stuff is in boxes in my living room
(just make me crazy that I can't decorate)
But, I can't wait to get into our new home on Sunday

Even though it's chaos here, I'm preparing a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.
My turkey goes in the oven early tomorrow morning...
I have invited my parents so we will be 9 people this year.
Looking forward to it - and to watch my favorite movie:

(I don't know where it goes. I just know it never comes back.)

Days to Thanksgiving: 1 (Hey! That's TOMORROW!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 28 (FOUR WEEKS FROM TODAY!)
(Getting those plans finalized?)
Warmer yesterday.
But it came with lots of rain, which has continued to this morning.
Last night it was 65 degrees. By now, it has dropped to 46 and the weather service says the temps will fall all day instead of getting warmer.
So it goes.
OK!
'Pines open house!
But not just any open house.
This, of course, is Carl's "Thanksgiving Eve Extravaganza".
(And wow! How could he transform the 'Pines from Christmas to Thanksgiving so fast??)
Indian corn.
Pilgrim figures.
Turkey-shaped fired twinkies.
Fantastic Thanksgiving buffet in the dining room with all the fixings.
A Thanksgiving themed door prize.
And that's just the begining!
Don't miss it, Guys.
(Oh, and not to worry. Carl says all the Christmas decorations will be back after this weekend!)
