OK guys, I shouldn't be here - I'm sneaking in...I still have cleaning to do & I have to be up at 5:30 am! BUT I am so excited - I just ordered the greatest Christmas present for a good friend of mine! I don't know if any of you have seen the deal at Kohls for the Kitchen Aid Mixer, which ends up being $91? It starts at $229 but when you put it in your cart it's $206. Then there is a coupon for 20% off + it's free shipping. There is a $30 rebate. And now they have $15 Kohls cash for every $50 spent. AND I had a $30 Kohls cash. So basically I got the Kitchen Aid for $61 for my friend who so desperately wants one but really can't afford it right now. (I did not tell her about this deal b/c she would have bought it for sure!!) Anyway - I am so excited. I had it shipped directly to her & she is going to sh*t!! Can't wait until she receives it!!! I just love finding that perfect gift...even though it's more than I normally spend - she's worth it!! Actually, I ended up ordering her a t-shirt & a cookbook -totaling another $10 - just so I could get another $15 in Kohls cash. LOL! SO FUN!!!

That's how I got mine a couple of years ago!!! I wanted one but would never pay the full price because I'm just to cheap. So when they ran it on black Friday like that, I finally broke down and bought it. Then my mom and aunt ended up giving me the money for it as part of my Christmas.

Hope she loves it as much as I do mine!!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you our good new, we got the house we were trying to get....Yay! Thank the Lord. We ended up getting into a bidding war on the house and we won. So ladies and gentlemen, thank you! Thank you for all of your prayers, thoughts and well wishes, we have a new house to live in...I truly believe we would not of have gotten the house if it wasn't from all the prayers received from all of you for me~ Thank you my friends....

We are celebrating by brining the turkey, making stuffing, gravy and getting the house and dinner ready for tomorrow; lol....

Thank you! I got out about 1 p.m. and got home, had a little lunch, started some laundry, and started stringing lights. A couple hours later---fail. I had strung them too close together. Even though I had added a string of 100 since last year, I came up short. I had to strip them all off and start again from scratch! But the second time went a little quicker, and it looks very nice. I'm sitting on the sofa in my "library" looking at it as I browse and post. This weekend or Monday I'll decorate it. I did it this way last year: string the lights the day before Thanksgiving, decorate after, and it worked great for me do the hard part first, then enjoy the decorating later.

I agree 100% which is why my lights are on my tree & nothing else! :wiggy:

I can understand why - it's a pretty awesome machine! My in-laws gave all the girls in the family one for Christmas - probably 10 years ago. Great gift!
