Good afternoon, everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US! I'm sure you're all prepared to celebrate good times with delicious food and great family. Enjoy the times and cherish the memories.
It's a chilly and snow-filled day in Ottawa. No, we haven't received anymore snow, but the 25cms we received over the past 32 hours has settled in and continues to make beautiful scenery. Temperatures are quite chilly, even for the final Thursday of November. We're currently at -8c/-16c 8f/3f. Brrr!
I'm off today, again... I was hoping to not get a call today. Out of all days, this is the only one I have wanted off. After all, it means that I can watch the Packers game as they take on the Lions in a mere 30 minutes. The Packers need this win badly. Hopefully Matt Flynn can carry them to their first win of November. My brother and dad are at the game in Detroit, too, so having them witness the win would make everything so much better! We'll see how it goes!
I am off to Cornwall later this evening. I have to teach tomorrow, but I am leaving shortly after the Packers game. I will be spending the night at Kim's mom's house and then coming back right after teaching. I'm excited to be in the classroom at least once this week. I'm going to imagine that it will pickup next week. I'll be traveling anywhere I receive a call. Hoping to get 5 out of 5 days teaching.
Anyway, have a great Thanksgiving everyone! Enjoy your food. Stay safe! On this day, since I have already celebrated Thanksgiving, I think it is safe for me to still say MERRY CHRISTMAS!
