What a great idea - taking photos of their feet. Wish I'd done that!!
I was thinking the same thing! I never thought of doing that!
You should make a date with your dad and watch it. Sounds like a great bonding moment.
I really should! When I was growing up my dad and I use to go to the movies together all the time and continued that until I was in my 30's. We just both kind of lost interest in the movie theater with the rising prices and now so much is available on DVD. So now we need to watch it together on TV!
Pop Australia on the clean-up crew schedule!!
Yay!
This was on the Facebook of one of the local radio station hosts this am:

There are 363 days till Christmas and people already have their Christmas lights up.

Unbelievable.

Ha ha ha!!! Good one!!!

November 22, 2013 is the last time I have logged in?! Shame on me!

I MISS YOU ALL!

I hope you all had the Merriest Christmas ever!

Ours was fantastic!

Have missed you too, CAH! I've been thinking about you and hope you and SIT had a Merry Christmas with your family.

Another great Christmas! Both my Wife's and My parents were here as well as our two sons! Now its time for me to start my annual tradition of saving a few ideas in my favorites menu for gifts for next year. Only 363 shopping days left!

Great way to look at it, Slim!

My post Christmas blues have been replaced with the dread of having to report for Jury duty on Monday. Yuck!!! Don't they know that I'm supposed to be home watching the last of the Christmas movies on Hallmark!!!!

How could they do such a thing???

Good afternoon to all!

I hope that everyone's Christmas was MERRY and bright. ;]

I woke up on Tuesday morning feeling ill so I basically spent two days in bed eating smelly garlic and drinking lots of tea. I haven't had sore throat or running nose for years and now I got it on Holiday. Yuck. :/ Anyway, I managed to chat with my mum on Skype last night for 3 hours!!! (It probably was the longest chat we have ever had on Skype. ^^ )

I am now looking forward to going home for New Years. :]

Enjoy the rest of the holiday everyone! (I see that some of you have already started thinking about next year's Christmas or card exchange. Oh, I wish I could be that organized!)

Best wishes from cloudy and windy Scotland!

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well over Christmas, but glad to hear you're feeling better now!

No blues for me ... The season is just 11 months away. In a few weeks we can say under 300 days.... and of course CIJ.

:???::???::???:

My house is a mess. I really need to stop dragging my feet and clean everything up. I don't think I'm motivated because of the construction going on in here, I have a why bother attitude. I need to snap out of it. I wish my husband would either let someone help him finish this job or pay someone to do it. He is supposed to be off all week and I thought he would get a lot done around here but this is the second day in a row he had to go in to work for a few hours. It's so annoying! I am going to finish my cup of coffee and head out to run a few errands. I am out of trash bags so I'm going to pick them up and come back here to clean and purge. I am going to go room by room until I'm finished!
I also need to make a menu plan and grocery list. I feel like I just went food shopping and I have nothing in the house. Maybe I'll get take out tonight and give myself a break.
I hope everyone is having a great day so far!!!

It can be frustrating after the holidays to get everything back in order. Everything looks disheveled especially in your cade where you have construction going on. Hey maybe you could accessorize with some hazard cones, orange lights and a sign that reads, "Please pardon our dust." Just count it as temporary decor. ;-)

Okay, I work for a doctor, and now I can just see some poor lab tech somewhere...he's got a stand of specimen tubes in front of him filled with cookie crumbs and sprinkles instead of blood....and he's thinking "Here we go again!"

ROFL!!!

Okay... Who wants to come over to my house for an organizing party??? Everything is picked up but just need to get organized. It seems a few others on here are doing the same so we can make our rounds. Start off here then get on Seawaters learjet and go to others and organize.

I will play Christmas music and we can have some eggnog! :???:
I'm tired but I need to get moving!!!

I'll come help!! :-)

Thanks to all for all the wishes. My throat doesn't soar anymore but my nose is just killing me. I hate being sick! :/ The weather has been crazy here lately as well. It isn't possible to get a good night's sleep because the wind is so strong that is seems it will eventually break all the windows of the house. Last night was horrible and it doesn't seem like tonight is gonna be any better. It doesn't look like winter at all!

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing fine, enjoying your Christmas presents and getting ready for New Years! I have already made my New Year's resolutions list. Is there anyone else here making one too? :]

My neighbor came over to ask me if I needed help getting my lights down. "It's already 2 days after and I noticed last night you still had them going. Do you need help taking them down?"

I said, "That's funny - last night I noticed yours were no longer on and wondered if maybe you blew a fuse and needed help getting them back on."

Good morning all!

Thursday, December 27th. Wow how could it already be 2 days after Christmas? And on the flip side of that, we're 2 days closer to Christmas Season 2014!! :-)

I keep thinking about Noah going away to college and what that will mean as far as our Christmasses to come. I sort of hope he chooses a different college closer to where we are, but he received a full scholarship to the college in question so rather difficult to turn down.

Last night I was thinking about things I could do to fill that void when he's gone and one thing I thought of was volunteering at the children's hospital teaching art and doing a storytime for them. Particularly around Christmas next year, helping them make their ornaments for the ward's tree for the children who can't go home at Christmas. I have lots of ideas. :-)

We still have one more Christmas to go around here, but won't be till the 31st or 1st now. My SIL won't be in from New Orleans till late on the 30th. Right now I'm really looking forward to Sunday evening the 29th. My son and I are going to walk Munn Park. It's in our historic district and he and I have been doing a walk of the park every year through their light display since he was 4. The first few years we went he was in his sleepy pants, bundled up and wearing Clifford slippers. Clifford eventually moved to Scooby Doo, then it was light up sneakers. LOL Now it's cowboy boots and has been for years. Every year I take a picture of his feet. ROFL It's so funny to me to see those tiny Clifford slippers all the way to these ginormous size 15 cowboy boots. ROFL.

This walk is one of my favorite traditions of the year.

What a great thing that would be for you to do - God bless you! Have a great time on your annual walk!

I'm glad you're beginning to feel better! :-)

I don't do New Year's Resolutions so no list here. After several years I started realizing I made the same list every year. LOL I must not be very resolute in my efforts so maybe those things didn't mean as much to me as I thought they did.

Good afternoon, MMC!

I am so tired - Palmer has been in non-stop mischief-making mode for two nights running now - I need my sleep! I got the skeins of yarn I needed to finish the afghan I have been working on this past week. It is going to feel weird holding a crochet hook again as I have been working on knitting a scarf the past few days.

Be safe and MERRY!
